Maya Coleman

You guys are God's bro I literally was just talking about avatar at work 🙏 😂

Yara

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Maxine

Absolutely LOVE 2x11 - Katara truly shines as a character with her empathy, bravery, and leadership qualities when everyone else isn't at their best. And with Aang losing his best friend, his last piece of home (along with Momo, but Appa is an OG for him haha), it's so distressing to see what that does to him poor boy I also love thinking about Toph's shocked face when Aang goes into the Avatar state. She can't see, and has never experienced him like this - what must be going through her head when she hears the sudden POWER in his voice and feels the wind pick up, and then Sokka rushing her a little away from Aang??? And then Katara just gently bringing him back, her holding back her own tears as Aang finally lets himself cry and be comforted a little - MY HEART And now we begin the Missing Appa arc *sobs*

Maxine

AND YES good catch in 2x10 - that was General Zhao in the library! That's how he discovered the mortal forms for the moon and ocean spirits!

DandyZombie

I've literally never seen someone side with the owl, I love you guys for that

Glad im not the only one who talks about Avatar at work LOL

Maya Coleman

Carlie really can't let go of Yue lol and I ship suki and sokka too ange 😂

Edward Chireno

Sokka is a player but tsukki is really good girl so hey i ship them too. Katara as the mother of the group has settle in and we will get more growth from the "Gaang". Next week is going to be tales of ba sing se, cant wait for you guys see it!! The climax of book 2 is amazing too.

idk

Off topic but you guys are literally my favourite reaction Channel ever. You pay attention to such small details and even bring back references from previous episodes that show you’ve really been taking in the information. Like when you noticed aang killed the bird wasp thing even tho he’s a vegetarian and a pacifist. I like how you guys didn’t judge aang for his behaviour because most reaction channels get mad at him for that but they never take into context that appa is the ONLY remaining thing left from his culture that’s been wiped out. And he’s twelve years old. I was scared you guys would react harshly but iwas so satisfied seeing you both understand his actions and behaviour. BEST CHANNEL YET💯 keep up the good work 😄🫶🏾

KaijinGarou

Perfect surprise after getting back home.

Floch

“Apps being taken away from him was not gonna fly.” Probably wasn’t even intentional but I audibly gasped 😂

KaijinGarou

I've been looking forward Ange's reaction to Aang's snap the most since he's your favorite character and you don't stop talking of how sweet and wholesome he is. As I said before, until you mess with Appa 😥

KaijinGarou

Toph: "I've held books before. They don't do it for me" Carlie: "Don't mention it, don't mention it!" Ange: "Be a gentleman, be a gentleman" Congrats for staying strong, man. I would've got my revenge 🤣

AttackRunRepeat

Oh next week is going to be something else.

KaijinGarou

Justice for giant speaking owls.

Nate Terry

in this grouping of episodes, I actually like the Drill episode. only because the writers didn't have to go so deep in detail into the mechanism of the drill. the fact that they put in the effort to show how larger drills work in real life by using water to help move the rock out of the drills head and that they had a slurry line to pass it out the back really didn't need to be in the episode to get the story across. but it tells me just how good the writers are by adding little details in their work. I mean, showing Iroh with steaming tea in the background before Jet focused on the tea is just good stuff.

KaijinGarou

Do you see how the own show is the first to make a ton of blind jokes? Don't worry 😎

KaijinGarou

Someone: cloudbends Ange immediately: 10/10 episode. Wonderful story-writing. Deserves an award.

KaijinGarou

I feel Carlie's crying 😭

KaijinGarou

"Appa being taken away from Aang wasn't gonna fly". Pun queen is so pun queen she no longer even does it on purpose 🤣

These guys literally broke into his home, stole a book from him and whacked him in the head with it 🤣

Gabriel Barott

Episode 2x11 always get's me super choked up, borderline sobbing. It's so sad to see Aang so broken up over Appa, because as the audience, we love Appa too and we know how much Appa means to him. It's his childhood companion, his best friend and even though Aang being upset with everyone is probably the wrong way to handle this, it's completely understandable. We know he doesn't mean it, we know he just deeply cares for Appa. Also, Toph's blind jokes kill me LMAO

KaijinGarou

Not Iroh getting canceled on Twitter!

KaijinGarou

When the world needed him most, he vanished, but I believe he can rizz the world. The Legend of Sokka, the Last Rizzbender.

KaijinGarou

Good catch on the tea heating there. Most people don't notice. And yeah, Iroh's weakness is tea. All his powerful neurons stop functioning when tea's involved 🤣

KaijinGarou

I agree Katara's growth and Toph's addition to the team is no coincidence. After all, she and Aang are both 12 and while Sokka is older and a smart and responsible leader when he needs to be, he's still too unreliable sometimes, especially when it comes to emotional support, which is one of Katara's best traits. She definitely improved on her good qualities and tuned down a bit her bad ones this season, partially because she realized she now has 2 kids in the group expansible to 3 when Sokka's out there doing dumb shit like licking walls and cacti 🤣. Even though they're all still kids, of course.

Hisoka

Are you guys gonna watch korra when you finish atla?

JN

I always liked ATLA since I watched it for the first time 10 years ago, even considered it a masterpiece. But rewatching the current set of episodes as an older wiser person really somehow amplified my opinion of ATLA. The writing carries so much wisdom and heart I never understood or appreciated before.

Tim Chaos

Wan Shi Tong did nothing wrong!

Xan

"I really ship Suki and Sokka, I mean what are you gonna do with a planet?" Ange is so unhinged haahahahhaa

Atar

Yeah, Katara really shines in the dessert

Most people just fall into the mindset of 'the heroes are trying to do good so the owl is being a big meanie' so it was nice to watch someone think about it from the owl's perspective.

Mario Prime Plays

A little fun fact, in the Serpent's Pass episode, the gang goes to the dock port called Full Moon Bay. Full Moon Bay is a actually a reference to the California beach Half Moon Bay in America. Funnily enough I actually frequented Half Moon Bay when I was younger, so it was really cool to see it reference here.

Papermaker

Love the analysis on how Zuko is learning to let go of his rage and Aang is now filled with it.
