Golden Jellie and now O.P ? gosh thank you

The foot getting cutt off instead of Zeff eating it, is one thing they censored in the anime. There are moments in the anime that are censored in order to make it more suitable for TV.

interesting fact about censor in OP: in the anime they show zeph loosing his legs to save sanji when the ship drown but in the manga zeph actually cut of his own leg and eat it so he can give all the food to sanji.

Ahhhhhh right. We were thinking that it was pretty drastic from the LA to think it up themselves 😆

Getting his leg torn off through blunt force still feels pretty rough though. Almost feels like they could've just kept the original scene to be honest.

I just wanted to clarify something although you guys are way past this by now. Luffy doesn't actually know Sanji's backstory or anyone from his crew for that matter. The flashback for Sanji was happening in his head because he was concussed from getting hit. All Luffy knows is that Sanji keeps saying Zeff saved his life and that is it. In the manga when he makes this argument they have a quick panel showing Shanks saving Luffy, so that is what he is thinking about when he talks about how to repay someone saving you.
