Content

Hey everyone!
We're keeping the polls coming and this one will be selecting the replacement for the House of the Dragon Monday/Tuesday slot!
Here are some of the series we've had suggested a heap in our comment section! This will be a very short series that we should finish pretty quickly. We'd like to keep having this slot flexible.

For those asking for Oshi no Ko Season 2, we will likely get to it around the time S2 ends.

Comments

idk

TOKYO GHOULLLL PLEASEEEE

LuciusArtoriusCastus

Unrelated, but are u guys gonna watch the new Spy X Family movie at some point in time?

Chocolatedude100

Honestly you should do both wind breaker and kaiju, their both entertaining as hell

Cathy

I would love to see some more Wind Breaker love, it's a pretty cozy series for me, even tho it's mostly about fights lol.

electriq

kaiju no 8 fs

Moody

I love Tokyo ghoul; I’ve seen the anime and read the manga, but I have to say eventually they really rush the future seasons to the point where it gets a bit confusing if you’ve never read the manga (or completely different in other parts)

Stormageddon Thomason

Let’s go Kaiju No. 8! Short, fun, action packed, right up your wheelhouse! Let’s go Kafka!!

roo

Kaiju and windbreaker 👍🏻

MrYinYang

I prefer the shorter series. Kaiju No8 is great. Has some AoT elements but a lot more lighthearted and fun.

Matthew Hunt Davies

I'd like Tokyo Ghoul (Only S1), cause Kaiju No 8 and Windbreaker are a lot of fun but they are very simple

storm (kasey) !

i enjoyed kaiju no 8!! it’s got the classic shounen flavor to it and i’m really fond of the protagonist

Copycat

I'm just gonna say it as a huge Tokyo Ghoul guy. The anime is downright bad. The manga is 11/10 but the anime especially after season 1 is the only anime I've seen that I consider bad.

C0lt5 Nat10n

If y’all are ever interested in starting another sports anime, Hajime no ippo is a great boxing anime and arguably the best sports anime of all time

Caraxes🐐DT

Even if Tokyo ghoul don’t win now I’m glad it’s on here…maybe next time

morena

How about the Gods of Highschool? 🥱

Mesha

TOKYOOOOO

Frieren

Finally got windbreaker and it gets matched with this I’m crying 😭😭😭 dying inside

Ezile Xozwa

Not me thinking it's about time I rewatch Tokyo Ghoul since watching it for the first time in 2020 but I guess I'll have to rewatch Kaiju for the 4th 😂

Moody
>>145607463

Yeah I know, but for a lot of shows they end up watching all of the seasons if they do well

Crytica

No Tokyo Ghoul please. If you want to check it out then you have to read the manga. The first season is fun as an anime but the further you go into the anime the worse it gets and it will not really lend itself for a good reaction if you have to skip the last 1-2 seasons because of it. Just my personal view on it.

Cloud

the tokyo ghoul anime is trash. definitely kaiju no.8

Elli

None of the above tbh

Moody
>>145607860

I’m really not one of those manga is always better snobs but agreed, the anime eventually gets bad. It’s not promised never land back but still bad nonetheless

ImZeaT

Do not ever watch Tokyo Ghoul... You could read it on your own or pray and wait for a remake, but don't ever watch the anime that's already out...

Crytica
>>145607860

Same, I will tell you pretty much all of the time that its up to the person to check out either the manga or anime (or both), but for some animes it's a much better experience to watch an anime or a manga version sadly.

astral_
>>145608050

same. I watched a few eps of Kaiju no.8, i think the animation could have been better. Didnt do the artstyle of the manga justice at all. I love the manga. I have not read nor watch windbreaker. For Tokyo Ghoul, i watched the series, I think it is very overrated.

Double_P94

those are all great shows, bu ti do like windbreaker the most

beannieswife

more live action pls!! a great series that you could finish quick is the bear! great cinematography and acting there’s this kdrama that I think you guys would love too, it’s called “moving”, it’s a superheroes series and it’s probably one of the best kdramas out there, great acting and action sequences! it has the biggest budget out of any kdrama too

astral_

Kaiju no.8 anime could have been better animated. The manga is so good. Idk about windbreaker cause i havent read nor watch it. As for Tokyo Ghoul, I am very surprised I watched the whole series. My opinion of it is very similar to some people out there, “Very Overrated”, so yeah I didn’t really enjoy it, but we all have different tastes. Unravel is the best part of the anime:) I would recommend Dead Mount Death Play, hmm although I enjoyed it, the animation could have been better as well. Another recent released anime is “Reincarnated as the 7th Prince”, animation superb, the manga was even better. Although the dialogue in the anime could get prolonged and might annoy u. MASHLE!!!!! is soo good, Dr.Stone is so goood.

Apolkiss

I unexpectedly enjoyed windbreaker. Hope it gets some love!

IsometricEmpire

I rather have you watch fate zero than any of this tbh 😅

Roger Powell

FYI Tokyo Ghoul is notorious for copyright strikes on YouTube.

VexOs X

Tokyo ghoul is straight up better than those 2 times 100

Steven Cavanagh

I would highly Recommend, the animated Amazon show Legend of Vox Machina, it has 2 seasons with the 3rd starting in October.

Zenitsu!

Kaiju no 8 is awesome! I’m sure you guys will fall in love with it.

Katherine Claire

Will you guys be doing “invincible” season 2 anytime soon?

HopelesslyImmersed
>>145609676

Based on their likes they would LOVE the show given how well written and fleshed out the story and characters are

Matt Brock

Windbreaker is the best one on here. Y'all are delusional

syd

man i was hoping windbreaker would be in the lead😩

Martina

let’s goooo Kaiju n8!

Maxime Goettelmann
>>145607535

oh god yes.... its the best sport anime by far, a legend in the manga community, but so many reactors sleep on it. Also, I think Ange would actually die because of Takamura's antics XD

Gabriel Barott

Ahhhhh Windbreaker is so good! It's right up your alley :) Very big shonen themes, some of the best fight scenes i've seen and also an amazing soundtrack. Super underrated imo. Really enjoyed Kaiju No. 8 episode 1, but didn't continue it. Will definitely have to pick it up again if it wins (it will).

Jamie Elizabeth

Please, please DO NOT watch Tokyo Ghoul!! The anime absolutely massacred the story. The manga is one of the best pieces of fiction I've ever read but the anime did not do it justice AT ALL. If you're going to consume it please read it or wait and hope for a remake, but watching the anime is a disservice to the story.

Xelryk

I really want you to watch Kaiju No.8 but I also hope you can get around yo Tokyo Ghoul eventually too!

long ass username
>>145610702

Windbreaker and Kaiju really where my favorites for that season of animes, both shows just getting better and better each episode.

astral_
>>145608620

i agree, cause it really convert me, who could care less about science cus im bad at it. The series just have so much personality, and that’s very rare to find in anime nowadays.

Caraxes🐐DT
>>145607463

Tbh to me they not bad but can be a bit confusing sure but I wouldn’t call them bad like some do…season 2 was actually still great the only confusing bits was season 3 but they did do changes

Trevor

All of these are great choices, Windbreaker was definitely one that caught me by surprise recently on how great it was cause I hadn't heard anything about it until watching. Either way I'm happy with any of the 3!

Moody
>>145607463

Don’t worry, I still voted for it anyway over the other two hahah

MJAnime

As someone who hasn't read the manga I had no issue with the art style of Kaiju No.8. I thought the show was awesome and I've watched many of their reactions and think they would love it. I also watched Windbreaker and it was good and I know they would enjoy it also. I vote Kaiju and follow it up with Windbreaker since they are both the same length and first season shows.

J Destiny

Sure, Kaiju No.8 gets the most Votes ,but Windbreaker is solid, too !!!

Vongola XIII

The Tokyo Ghoul anime is very tragic. Season 1 was good but the studio deciding to make season 2 basically original content and then try to go back to manga canon for :re just made the entire show very messy, confusing, and in all a disaster of a show. I suggest just ignoring the show and not putting it in polls. But I do have to mention, the manga is incredible and one of my favourite series, despite the horrible anime adaptation.

Erik Nilsson
>>145610702

I was a bit unsure of Kaiju no8 after the first episode but after finishing the season I thought it was one of the better shows from this year no doubt. I went then to continue the manga and it will continue to escalate :)

Erik Nilsson
>>145610319

People don't vote for the best show, they vote for the one they want to see them react to. Also newer shows will always have an advantage.

Caraxes🐐DT
>>145607463

Same and you a real one lol imo not many reactors finish Tokyo ghoul at least not fully…I seen so many drop after 2 and not see where the story and characters ends up smh. Praying they reboot it tho

Vol

If in the future you guys go back to watching more live action, please consider adding "the bear" to its poll. It's very popular with 20 min long episodes, 8 eps per season so in total the length of one anime season.

Kaycee

Idk if you guys have heard of it but I hope you consider the anime Death Parade for a future poll 😁 it’s pretty short as well.

Usher

Tokyo ghoul. Classic

E

We need Tokyo ghoul

KIMI
>>145609116

Yeah well the adaptation is what's up for vote here lol

VexOs X
>>145609116

It's still better than both kaiju and windbreaker combined lol even with S2 and RE's discourse

KIMI

Kaiju one of the better shows last szn. older and relatable MC, no fan service, and really kool animation. What more could I ask for??

No_1

I don’t really care for Tokyo ghoul the anime that is. Manga was good though (iykyk). But I’d just go ahead and get it outta the way. The other two choices are only 12 episodes in.

Glory

Wind Breaker is really good :(

astral_

I was just reminded of Beyond the Boundary. I’m planning on rewatching it.

Phil

Yesss, finally Kaiju No.8. Gonna be a blast

AngelFr0m Sky

Hope you guys after ending, kaiju and 2nd season of oshi no ko, have in the poll vivy fluorite eyes song, its such a good anime with only 13 episodes and had an insane soundtrack, animation and history.

Nick22

Kaiju is really great but Tokyo Ghoul is one of the best anime’s out there

The Great Santini

Tokyo Ghoul S1 is really good but gets a lot of hate from straying from the manga. I still think it's worth watching and then dropping after s1.

Edward Michaelle

Windbreaker was promising but was overall a letdown

Alejandro Garcia

Glad you’re doing kaiju no 8 but hopefully Tokyo ghoul next since it looks like it’ll be #2

KIMI
>>145619937

Yeah I felt like the writing got way too cheesy towards the end and ima sucker for the melodrama

Alejandro Garcia

Tokyo ghoul is a darker anime with some interesting subject matter that I feel like would be extremely interesting for you guys to react to . Hopefully you can get to it at some point . First season is only 12eps and imo a classic that would be awesome for you guys to watch. Kaiju No 8 is great specially the animation and the soundtrack even tho the story tends to be more generic , also a great choice nonetheless .

ShadowQrow

This is just a bad poll lol. 3 horrendous options. Going by Openings to choose which animes you wanna watch is a terrible idea, there are some great openings from some real dogwater anime.

Mango

Have been waiting for Kaiju n.8!

Evan Valenti

Wait for the remake of Tokyo Ghoul. Think its a little dark you guys taste imo anyways. They seem to enjoy more upbeat shows, particularly Carlie.

Wadzi

Kaiji No 8 is EPIC 🔥🔥🔥Looking forward to your reactions 💖💖💖

Icaro Torres

Tokyo ghoul is a classic, and won’t take long! Kaiju is a fresh anime, and still coming out I think would be nice to do the classics first 🤷🏻‍♂️

FGK

C&A making really nice polls recently 😆 You win even if your choice loses 😁

Nessa.

My favorite show from this season is called "YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master", it's not famous at all unfortunately but one of the best that came out this season. It was produced by the same studio as Naruto, Black Clover and Tokyo Ghoul. :D I've seen people comparing it to "The Apothecary Diaries", some even said that Yatagarasu was better... I also loved Tower of God but again, not a lot of people react to it... Please consider it next time! :)

Nessa.
>>145608620

@astral_ : For a "longer" animé, I would love to see them react to Dr Stone ! It's great, funny, interesting, educational and so on...

MrWell

I'm so ready for Kaiju No. 8! You won't regret watching it for sure

Dexifae

glad windbreaker isnt winning. truly a overhyped mid show

Kolton Nay

Voted for Kaiju No. 8 because i also just watched that and want to relive it xD, but would also love to see you react to Tokyo Ghoul!!

Alvin Le

I LOVED Windbreaker but I understand why ppl aren’t resonating with it as much. They spend a lot of time talking about one conflict and take their time progressing. But as a reader, it gets so good and I hope the second season next year convinces y’all! Animated soooo well and the VAs are so good. The show has a lot of heart and sets up MC’s future journey well. But I also think Kaiju will make for great reaction content!

Shadower

Voted for Kaiju, its a quick one only 12 eps

Meg

OMG THIS POLL another tough one cos I want to choose both windbreaker and kaiju no 8 but I'll go for kaiju for now cos I think you guys will definitely love this show!! Especially the soundtrack. No joke when I watched it I was like "Carlie and Ange would so love this!" hahaha. I hope windbreaker comes back in another poll, I'd love for you guys to watch that too. The first season is a little slow but the animation is pretty good, the main character is adorable and the manga supposedly gets better. But first kaiju no 8! 🤩 Tokyo Ghoul is an old favourite but I need to rewatch it as I don't remember most of the show. I just remember season 1 being super intense and then I switched to the manga lol.

Raul Velazquez

Kaiju no8 clears the other two all day, best thing about Tokyo ghoul (anime) is season 1’s OP, Kaiju no8 all day!!

le

Windbreaker would be so up your alley tbh

Kassyel Nafrē

I can't wait to discover this with you guys🔥✨🤍

Kassyel Nafrē

Oh by the way, I recently discovered an anime a friend recommended and I freakn adored it!! So I highly recommend it, it's a fantasy one and I love the characters. It's called "The ancient Magus Bride" and for now there's only two seasons (+ two extras like 2 or 3 episodes wide each one that connect the parts or the seasons I guess). I would be awesome if you'd consider reacting to it💖

Matthew Chan
>>145607535

I don't see Hajime no Ippo mentioned much but I'm in agreement here! It's a little old school but still extremely enjoyable

JoeyDMT

Tokyo ghoul s1 ŏvęŕ pøẅɛřð #1 and classic childhood favoret

tiff

tokyo ghoul is one of my favourite stories however and the first season is pretty okay but the second season barely follows the manga so i’m pretty hesitant in voting for it😭 i just hate how much potential the adaptation had and they never went through with it

Miza Syukrina

actually kaiju no8 and windbreaker are both so good.

Copycat

Please at some point consider bleach and tokyo revengers. Sorry I'd you have an actual place for it but I wanna try to get them both in your radar

D'Janae W
>>145623663

still coming out?! season 2 probably won’t be out till the end of 2025 maybe even 2026. so they can DEFINITELY watch Kaiju now. plus it’s winning by a mile✨

Stefan
>>145630315

yeah season 2 starts out very confusing without any context lol

jacob

Ahh good ol rushed, rushed, rushed

Meg
>>145630315

Right? Also I think root A was not part of the manga? Rather it was manga plus anime original so was quite confusing.

Meg
>>145647159

Omg yes, I would LOVE for them to react to Bleach someday, especially now that the anime is back with the blood war arc. I know it's very long but since they started One Piece now there's hope they'll do Bleach, Naruto and Fairy Tail at some point. 🤞

Meg
>>145646023

Same here, I absolutely loved first season but the second was so confusing lol.

Copycat
>>145647159

Bleach is barley longer then hxh with no filler which is what I would suggest so it's def possible. Added bonus I'd they started within the next 6 months they would finish right as the anime would as well.

Meg
>>145628408

Hahaha same I just watched Kaiju no. 8 and I desperately want to rewatch it with C&A. That anime exceeded my expectations, it's so hilarious and serious and emotional at the same time. I can't wait for season 2!

The Great Santini
>>145632327

Which is interesting because Kaiju was good but it wasn't like... groundbreaking or deep or anything like that. Just a basic action anime with comedy elements.

The Great Santini
>>145622561

Are they remaking it? I haven't heard anything about that but that would be incredibly cool as long as they don't go full 3D with it.

The Great Santini
>>145619827

Actually I'm confused.. do people NOT consider "Route A" or whatever part of season 1? I watched it all at once and stopped before "re:" so I'm not sure.

The Great Santini
>>145611981

Whoaa i thought Route A was part of S1 lol. I didn't know that was an entire separate season. I remember reading the manga though years later and I was like... holy shit. This manga is actually really interesting and I wish they followed it with the anime.

FGK
>>145646796

Windbreakers' fight scenes are 🔥 animation too 😁 the story's just not quite there for me. I still would love C&A to watch it though 😁

FGK
>>145638011

That's such an under rated show. Love that one.

FGK
>>145630315

Totally agree with everything you said there 😁

HansCent

I looked at the old poll posts and I am surprised ‘Konosuba’ was once on a poll (fell 2nd to Boochi). Any chance it can come back to the polls?

Matthew Hunt Davies
>>145647159

Please don't recommend Tokyo Revengers, it's one of the worst shows to come out in recent times. Bleach is good tho

Copycat
>>145647159

I like tokyo revengers season 1 and 2 I agree the manga kind of went a rough way but season 1 esp they would love all the twists and turns.

CK C

Nah, why Tokyo ghoul s1 lost. Tokyo ghoul is one of the classic in 2010s imo . The op, soundtrack, the animation, all top tier.

Meg
>>145646796

Omg yess the fight scenes!! That's what sold the anime for me. Plus Sakura is just so cute, he's like a fiesty kitty! 😍

Jesus Rocha

For another shorter anime Juni Taisen Zodiac War it’s a good WTF fun shirt anime. Plus an opening banger.

killua

Another suggestion for a short and very interesting anime - Madoka Magica

Sydonis

Tokyo S1 is fine, but after that, there is a massive drop in quality and having you watch story that would never get finished is strange. Let's just hope it will one day get the brotherhood treatment and ignore it for now. Kaiju no.8 is solid.

Sun

windbreaker is such a healing manga aaaa i hope you get around to watching it soon even if its not rn ! <3

astral_

i had to recheck. The Promised Neverland has not been reacted by you guys…right?

Bourbon

MONSTER please

Chloe Downey

damn i really want windbreaker to win :^(

Trent Claycomb

The amount of recentcy bias in this patreon is wild. You can tell most this place didnt start watching anime until Covid

Caracas

kaiju no. 8 I sleep (i havent watched it)

Hoa Trương
>>145660301

yes, i second this. The recentcy bias is so big in these poll. Where's the classic, the niche, interesting anime

Nessa.
>>145647159

@copycat - Is Bleach really about as long as Hunter x Hunter (without fillers) ? I thought it was much longer... Which is why I never really started watching the show... But I'd consider watching it if what you said is true!

Copycat
>>145647159

The original show with no filler is 166 episodes with tybw there's an additional 26 so it's about 40 episodes longer then hxh. Highly suggest it it's my favorite show of all time and hope you enjoy it if you do watch it.

Nessa.
>>145647159

@Copycat - Oh that's great news ! Thanks! I really thought it was around 500 episodes or so (without fillers), so I stayed away from that show because I couldn't commit to another long animé after watching Naruto/Boruto haha. Well I know what animé I'll be watching for the next few months! :) And I saw somewhere that there's another season coming up, right ?

Copycat
>>145647159

Yes bleach is currently halfway done with the "final" arc and the 3rd out of 4 parts is coming out in October with the 4th part coming out soon after that. It's the perfect time go get into the show as you will be there for it's finale around when it comes out. Instead of having to wait 10 years like me.

ViperBreeze

Going to start fighting for Golden Kamuy to come to the channel. I may be the only one here to ever suggest it, but darn it, maybe persistence will pay off.

Hoa Trương

you want something short and good ? Please consider Madoka Magica next time, it's only have 12 episode and a movie. I promised it's interesting and have a totally different taste than all the genre you have watched so far

JN
>>145681278

I mean C&A literally started watching anime other than DB during COVID. With AoT.

JN

Maybe in the future, consider ODD TAXI. It's a GOATed short series.

Kaycee
>>145678428

Monster is in my top 3 animes but I wonder if they would like it. It is a bit of a slower paced anime and they don’t really watch a lot of stuff like that. At least not that I’m aware of.

Xaniss

If Tokyo ghoul did justice to the manga in any way I'd say that... but... well it isn't even close.

Carlos Cantu
>>145706372

yesss 100% AGREED I commented this a while back on a different post but I'd love for them to watch ODD TAXI :D

Carlos Cantu

It's a bit echhi (pervy) but a short anime that I'd recommend and that used to be my no.1 fave anime until, Haikyuu took over, is No Game No Life. short and has a movie that's a prequel and it's all amazing

Bourbon
>>145678428

i think they will because they are smart reacters and also they reacted to HxH and FMAB which is similar pace in my opinion they like making theories and Monster one of the best for that.

margarhita

Now that you guys are well-versed with the different anime types (shonen, seinen, and shoujo), it would be cool to explore a Josei anime (catered to older/mature women). I recommend NANA! 😋

Peachywang

Even if it’s not winning, but u guys need to watch tokyo ghoul!!

Michael

Nah Tokyo ghoul season one is a must forget about the other seasons

Kaycee
>>145678428

Well if they ever did pick it up I wouldn’t complain haha

Trent Claycomb
>>145681278

True. Only season 1 is good and even then it’s not perfect. They really need to watch Code Geass

dadadada

Man, with how polls go including previous ones I guess majority of subscribers are new anime watchers

FGK

C&A please do a poll that only has classic shows in it and/or underrated ones.

Matthias
>>145737117

interesting because your comments seems to try to make the point that Tokyo Ghoul is better but it's not, the Tokyo Ghoul anime is a mess that shits on the manga.

Matthias
>>145728619

well... more likely they need to read tokyo ghoul because the anime just doesn't do it justice.

Matthias
>>145658081

the soundtrack is good and the visual are great too, but just knowing how it's just trash compared to the manga really left a bitter taste in every fans mouth.

Matthias
>>145638011

amazing show plus even tho it's like a less know story the visuals even in season 1 are just amazing and above oa lot of other stuff that are more popular and or more recent.

Matthias
>>145623663

if you really enjoyed tokyo ghoul, you should read the manga then you'll realize that the anime is actually pretty meh.

Matthias
>>145619811

Not really, the first season is okay and then all the rest is just trash and an insult to the manga.

Matthias
>>145611981

Also RE: is not even a good adaptation and they skip, missed and changed a lot of what may seems like minor stuff to them but were actually important.

Matthias
>>145610319

bofurin is okay, IFf the season 1 kept going for the next arc it'll be cool but like right now the devotee of power is the only big arc animated so, it's not quite there yet.

Matthias
>>145607535

Hajime no Ippo is goated but I don't think it'll be such a hit as a reaction (I know other channels have reacted to it but it's not their big hit videos) we have to keep in mind C&A also have to find shows that'll do well on youtube so they can promote their content and their patreon to more people etc...

Matthias
>>145607463

if you like tokyo ghoul I'd advised to read the manga. You'll realize season 2 is actually trash and season 3 is not a great adaptation either.

Waver
>>145737117

The first season is what the poll is referring to and the first season is great. Also their comment has ZERO coorelation to TG's future seasons. Maybe actually reply to what they said?

Waver

It's pretty unfair to put an older anime next to two seasonal ones. Just guaranteed to lose. Also I noticed some shows that lose old polls just never come back as a choice which seems odd

Holorence

I reaaaally don't wanna be that guy who goes '''what about x or y'' but for this one I have to. Made in Abyss beat both Kaiji and Windbreaker on the last poll and now it's not even on there? Please don't tell me the community scared them off with their comments of how disturbing it is and how Carlie wouldn't be able to sleep for weeks and yadayada it's so grossly overblown. People act like they're sheltered kids who've never seen a bad thing in their lives who must be protected. Made in Abyss does a tremendous job counteracting the disturbing moments with wholesome stuff too.

Ameer Sabri

It is incredibly sad to see Tokyo ghoul loose this poll because of the recency bias, the first season is an all time classic with only 12 episodes as well. Would love to see your guys’ reaction to it at some point in the future

Matthias
>>145790624

it is incredibly sad seeing poeple still defending the tokyo ghoul anime after they shat on the manga like they did.

beannieswife
>>145790624

I feel you, recency bias has taken away spots for some good old school anime’s for me here😭 but at the same time I truly feel that the anime does not make justice to the manga, is still “good” but as an adaptation is just not the best tbh

Ben K.

kaiju no8 is quite a forgettable anime to be honest. Tokyo ghoul is way better, albeit only the 1st season.

KIMI
>>145737117

They're replying to what the original comment said indirectly. It's clear that the condescension behind "I guess majority of subscribers are new anime watchers" is due to Tokyo Ghoul, the oldest anime on this poll thus one that maybe those new to anime haven't seen, losing. All that being said, people rave about season 1, a product that is still inferior to the manga but is astronomically better than the garbage that followed, but I think it'd just be a waste of time considering they're never going to see an ending to that series

Jesus Rocha

If you didn’t like it it’s fine. But the show still really good. Yes the show is short and I can see why is forgettable (Hells Paradise unfortunately was short too). But because it’s short is easier to digest. Overall a very good action paced show.

>>145789942

Unfortunately Made in Abyss has some seriously gross undertones. Not the dark elements. Actually pedophilic moments. The author is confirmed into this sort of thing as well which does NOT help. The core ideas are amazing but the execution might make them rightfully uncomfortable

K

i dont know if anyone had recommend you this anime but « ranking of kings » is really a wholesome and an amazing anime. i hope you will watch it one day ! btw i love your réactions <3

Ameer Sabri
>>145790624

youre both right, the anime after the first season goes downhill and the manga is better. But think about the reactions for the first season that you would get, it would be absolutely insane

Jorge

i cant decide, ill be happy with whatever show i lover all of them, but i love tokyo ghoul manga the most and season 1 is great but the story of tokyo ghoul is peak but its sad cause the anime doesn’t do justice to the original material

Ben K.
>>145681278

yeah code geass is sooooooooooo good. Complex characters, great plot that keeps you guessing, some romance, just a banger. Also has original concepts that they haven't seen yet.

dadadada
>>145737117

Who are you to judge that I am condescending with my comment. You are paranoid and is easily triggered with imagined scenarios on your head. That’s on you. I just implied that maybe majority of subscribers haven’t seen older anime shows because of how polls have went. Doesn’t mean they are bad anime fans, just maybe they haven’t seen older anime shows that don’t win on polls. I was making a guess based on what I observed. Which I have the right to. Work on your insecurities so you won’t suspect and judge people

KIMI
>>145737117

You seem very much like the one who is triggered. You can just say that you were being judgmental (spoiler alert you were), it's not like a bunch of strangers on the internet are going to crucify you for it

Sydonis
>>145737117

In general, yes there is a massive recency bias in the polls, but in this one specifically, maybe people just don't see the point of starting a show that's not worth finishing.

Nessa.
>>145626352

Oh are you watching it ? I love it so much ! But unfortunately, it's very underrated so I haven't found people knowing about this show... I'm glad that you do !!

K
>>145836186

hahaha its bc of my rÉaction, yes my autocorrect put the é

dadadada
>>145737117

Oh its very obvious you were triggered with my comment kid you're not fooling anyone. You seem to live in your own world where you are always right in your imaginary scenarios. Grow up. What's inside your head isn't reality kid.

Holorence
>>145789942

Huh, that's the first I've heard of that controversy. That sheds more light unfortunately.

Rabidsu 69

Please do Tokyo ghoul,I know the other show has more votes but is just because is more recent, but that show after the first episode just went down , I know I'm just one person and so many others voted for that show, but after seeing both, Tokyo ghoul is way superior, and anyone that has seen Tokyo ghoul will confirm that, anyone else who didn't vote for Tokyo ghoul either didn't watch it or they did but didn't stick with them, which, fair enough,

Rabidsu 69
>>145801847

Exactly,And I Feel like anyone who voted for Kaiju never watched Tokyo ghoul because is old or it has that ,,meme" anime reputation

Rabidsu 69
>>145790624

Maybe after the first season, but even then,is way better as an anime than Kaiju

Rabidsu 69
>>145728619

You keep commenting the same thing again and again,NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE MANGA here ,not in this discussion, yes ,the anime compared to the manga ,is trash, the manga is better, but as a viewer ,I prefer them watching s1 of Tokyo ghoul more than them reading the manga off screen, yes , EVERYONE knows that the manga is better, but the anime is still really good on it's own, if the manga didn't exist no one will complain about s1 of Tokyo ghoul, please stop

Rabidsu 69
>>145658081

You say every fan's mouth,I am a fan, I love the manga ,but the s1 of the anime is really great ,I love every part of it ,more or less the censoring but what can you do,

BubbleTea

Tokyo Ghoul S1 is passable from what i remember. Unless a remake happens, i wouldn't recommend it beyond S1. Too bad Made in Abyss was removed but also not. I can see why. Haven't gotten around to Kaiju no. 8 but heard good things.

Ben K.
>>145632327

Yeah, it had an original feel to it in the beginning, but turned out to be generic real quick. To be fair, its really hard to be original with how much anime is out. At least I didn't find myself bored at all watching it.

Void

i feel like you cant know windbreakers true worth until after watching tokyo revengers so i say Kaiju No.8

charlie
>>145801847

Tokyo ghoul is one of the only anime i have ever dropped it becomes a nightmare in the later seasons

JN
>>145789942

Yeah, it was so uncomfortable for me watching and reading Made In Abyss solely for the pedophiliac moments. I kept constantly asking myself wtf am I seeing? Why is this here? Blatant gratuitous sexual titilation of prepubescent children.

FGK
>>145790624

Nah both are good. Kaiju is just more recent and so most will likely pick that one. Like I said in my comment here somewhere…they should do a poll with classics and/or under rated shows in it. If this gets commented enough then hopefully, they might actually do it.

FGK

@C&A just curious, are there any genre you’re uncomfortable watching?

Cyber
>>145928014

speaking from what i think, not from what they're saying. They aren't comfortable with highly religious themes or anything that can be treated as a religious theme ( i think Death Note gave that vibe to them and they didn't enjoy it).

FGK
>>145928014

So I guess Saga of Tanya the Evil wouldn't be a good suggestion then? 🤔

charr lotte

tokyo ghoul season 1 was okay but the rest are trash (even tho the manga is literally a masterpiece, my top 1) but kaiju no8 is a great watch

kipp3 3

Can't believe TG is losing this hard

Nessa.
>>145836186

@K - et les guillemets! hahaha :) le correcteur automatique et l'anglais, c'est toute une histoire !!!!

Nessa.

Please consider Kiseijuu (Parasyte) or even Ranking of Kings in your next polls... I feel like the shows on the poll aren't that great to react to (except for TG S1, but even that isn't the most ideal)... They are still entertaining but not worth taking a slot, in my opinion... I remember that you guys loved Parasyte's OP, I'm surprised it's not on this poll... :')

K
>>145836186

oui haha c’est une horreur de parler une autre langue avec un correcteur

KIMI
>>145737117

Hello adult, I hope you're done arguing with children on the internet and feel better today since your favorite show isn't being picked

Vincent Lorenzo
>>145981250

Bro I'd love to see them react to best boy Bojji my one true king. IMO Ranking of Kings is underrated too and more people should give it a chance.

dadadada
>>145737117

There you go with your assumptions again in your imaginary world. Time to grow up kid. Get out of your head, there's reality that you need to face.

Camila

Dr Stone!!

Edgar Garza

Agree with some recommendations, Ranking of Kings, Dr Stone and also JoJo, Gurren Lagann

MJAnime

If you're looking for a good time but not a long time, Buddy Daddies is great. Similar but not the exact same as Spy x Family. 12 episodes and it gives a little of all the feels. You would love it.

Angel Zane

Ranking of Kings is definitely down both of your alleys.

Blake Richey

I hope they bring back the Fate series into their polls. I am really interested in seeing their reaction

juju

Kaiju No. 8 first for sure hehe. Then Tokyo Ghoul!!

wing-yi
>>145801847

At the end of the day it just depends on personal opinion - I watched Tokyo Ghoul when it aired and didn't like it that much (I also read the entire manga but didn't like it as much as everyone else seems to), but I really enjoyed Kaiju No. 8 so I voted for it. It may not have much depth to the story compared to Tokyo Ghoul but it's an exciting watch and I think Carlie & Ange will enjoy it too

Nessa.
>>145981250

@Sting @Jesus Rocha @Vincent Lorenzo : Agreed ! Maybe next time... Hopefully they'll finish Kaiju very quickly (it's only 12 episodes...)

Alex Kronberg

This is outragous, just watch monster already. Oh sorry that came out wrong, but I know you love mystery so you'll love monster.

KIMI
>>145737117

Whatever you say adult, I hope whatever makes you fight with strangers online gets better or doesn't I don't really care

dadadada
>>145737117

You're the one who commented on me. Lol you're a delusional kid. I hope you get better 🤞

H

Weathering With You, and all of Ghibli, Hosoda Mamoru's movie

Alex Kronberg

When is the 'monster' disrespect going to end in the reacting community. Everyone who has seen/read it has it in their top 10 atleast, it's so well done and really captures human emotion flawlessly, the author really understands how to tell a story. It would also be nice to see you react to a slower thriller like show that opens up opportunities for the discussions that I so much enjoy of you two. I'll keep preaching this show btw try to stop me.

LIA

I think they would love Erased!! There are so many 12eps anime that are absolutely classics omg they need to watch some of them in the future

Holorence
>>146308499

Nobody is disrespecting monster. There's just a bunch of stuff that pulls more views such as newer shows and mainstream stuff. Monster is not mainstream. That does not mean it's not good. That just means for most channels it'll never be covered because there's very little incentive to actually do so. The reality is that if C&A do monster it's not going to perform well on Youtube at all because they don't have the type of community to care about older shows much. This is very much evidenced by how polls are currently going. Some reactors can pull it off (Semblence of Sanity or Autosave absolutely could for example) because those channels have a community that cares more deeply about anime as a whole, rather than just watching the 10 or 20 most popular shows. This isn't meant as a negative or a bad thing for C&A specifically, but it might help you set better expectations of the type of shows you'll realistically never see on here no matter how good they are.

JN
>>146308499

Monster is way more niche and more of a time investment. If you want them to watch Monster, it's best to test the waters first with Odd Taxi and Death Note, Code Geass. Shorter and much more popular series. And even for DN it was mentioned they tried watching it but chose not to continue for reasons only they know. Maybe Monster contains similar reasons.

JN
>>145928014

@Cyber Interesting, considering Vinland Saga

JN
>>146078157

Backing these 100%. And Odd Taxi, Nodame Cantabile (for romcom, I guess saving for SOL/romcom slot)

Glory

Please continue considering Wind Breaker for the next polls 🙏🏽😭

Rj Casido

vinland saga please

MK

erased, tokyo ghoul, or fate series would be fire for them

Isaak

Tokyo ghoul pls

Rain

i would love to see you watch bungo stray dogs and wind breaker at some point

Rain
>>148849267

also, i think you guys would absolutely love watching link click, its definitely one of the best shows i've ever seen
