Mochichi

Y'all have gotten a peek into how hype this anime can get so id recommend keeping any tissue boxes out of reach for the rest of this arc😁

RunAwayCloak

Guess I'm the only one that likes mineta and before you say why if you like master roshi or Sanji plz don't talk bc Roshi has grouped multiple women he wanted to see bulmas pantys and then she flashed him by the way she was a kid at the time he also tried to SA sleeping women and touch her nipples when goku knocked her out at least mineta is a kid doing what he's doing the hypocrisy is crazy when it comes to pervy characters bc roshi is loved by alot of people when he literally a pe3o

M

every character appears has some sort of a play in the story.

most people absolutely HATE his character, so you're truly one of the few. it's interesting that rather than explain why you like him, you instead go into (unnecessarily graphic) detail about another gross character and state that you can't hate Mineta if you like him. fun fact: many people hate his character too.

RunAwayCloak
>>146832043

I'm talking about them they hate mineta when he is literally a child version of roshi and they like Roshi all I said is the hypocrisy is crazy I like roshi but how can they like another character that is doing to same thing that your hating on another character for. I like Mineta bc he's funny and I feel like he's realistic alot of people would panick in this situation definetly for kids and roshi is not hated at all really he was always at the top of character voting charts and out of all characters in Og dragon ball he's one of the most popular he got own custom made shops in places around the world roshi is probably one of the most loved characters from dragon ball before we get to all the extra

Eric

ya mineta is annoying as shit lol

Kolton Nay

Yeah Mineta is absolute garbage.

Yammy
>>146832043

That doesn’t make the groping okay😭for either characters

well for starters roshi is so much more than just a perv. yes he is definitely perv and that is not good but he is also amazing fighter and a mentor to goku and krillin. and when time comes to show what you are made of Roshi always delivers. Mineta for whatever fucked up reason somehow managed to get in class 1-A yet to compare him to roshi is an insult to roshi's legacy. Only thing they have in common is the perv attitude but unlike roshi, that is all mineta is. There is a huge difference between having complex characters that have many things going on for them and they happen to be a pervert as to show they are not perfect. Jiraya is amazing mentor and teacher and super strong, if you remove perversion from his character he still have so much to offer and would be interesting character (even better than interesting since it is perversion that makes him a flawed character). If you remove perversion from Mineta then you just stopped drawing his character as he stopped existing. Its not hypocricy to hate mineta because he did not show anything to redeem his screentime. Every time he gets a chance to prove why he is a hero, chance to redeem himself, they just double down on his creepyness and how useless he is. Lastly i hate him even more than others do cause although i hate the creepy perversion what bothers me even more is that there is so many cool characters that are not in class 1-A but somehow this piece of shit exists and story keeps trying to keep him relevant without ever making it redeemable

>>146832043

Bro roshi is not just a perv his pe3o he asked child bulma to show him her panties then she did and she had noting on under he grouped her a rubbed up on he put grabbed multiple young girls bits and breast and tied to SA a sleeping girl atleaset mineta is a kid

RunAwayCloak
>>146832043

It like y'all forget that what he was doing was not just being a perv he was like 50 touching bulma multiple times and other women just because he's has other things to him y'all just ignore what he does

gaby
>>146832043

brother im sorry but it doesnt matter that he is a kid its still gross, both roshi and mineta

RunAwayCloak
>>146832043

Never said it was ok I said roshi is worse I'm saying this bc they seem to hate mineta but they like roshi when he's a literal pe3o

Cayseron
>>146832043

yes nobody here is defending Roshi saying that its ok when he did it. Argument is that unlike Mineta, Roshi HAVE redeeming qualities and good moments of his screen time outnumber the bad ones. Roshi is just a random dude he never signed up for life of heroism yet he died to save the planet multiple times. Meanwhile Mineta doesnt even have a single redeeming moment. Even in times where he does something useful its lecherous and disgusting instead of heroic and noble

Sammie

almost everyone hates Mineta that's a fact, I used to get so annoyed by him so I decided to ignore his existence and it worked smh :p Thank you for the new op cover, it's epic as always ♡

Night Sterling

Im more neutral towards mineta i just see him as the comedic relief guy i dont particularly like or dislike him

Sydonis
>>146832043

They are both pervs, but Roshi is a good character, unlike Mineta, it's not that hard to get.

I am gonna say this. Don't argue with insane people down in comments. You like Mineta, it's alright. He isn't that bad and I found him funny too when I saw the show. Wondered just like you why people are hating on him like he is worse than Hitler. I have seen people love even serial killer villains cuz they are either cool chars or smart or something. They can call that a good char but Mineta is where they draw the line of likability. That's insane to me. xD I liked the little fella. His quirk is unique, never seen that power personally. He chooses to be a hero and tries to be helpful as well. That's good enough redeeming quality. Dumb people will say 'he has zero redeeming quality'. That same person might end up saying somewhere else, "Yoshikage Kira is such a koooooll character. I looooove him!" People can't control what they hate, very often. Generally, people take personal space privacy very seriously. Some even prioritise it over death. I guess... those kind of people treat Mineta like Hitler while idolising evil villains as characters? Or even liking Roshi cuz of nostalgia? Well those people are gonna be insane to me still no matter how much they defend Roshi with his good deeds. Cuz they can't see good that Mineta does, when he is literally trying to be a hero in a hero show. I believe you, like me, also don't have as serious physical privacy code as Mineta haters. That's why we could enjoy the comedy as it is, without feeling "ewwwwwww". While Roshi perhaps is loved either due to Nostalgia, or cuz he is way stronger than Mineta, belonging to a more iconic series.

problem is that he isn't even funny. Atleast with characters like Sanji, it's funny (sometimes), but with mineta he's just overly perverted and annoying, and there's nothing else to his character besides that. even his quirk is wack

Carlie & Ange
>>146832043

I get the comparison to Roshi. Roshi is unbearable at times, but also absolutely epic at times as well. Im not sure what to expect from Mineta through out the rest of the seires, but so far, he's not likeable at all. Not just because he is a perv. Characters like Roshi and even Hisoka from HxH are extremely flawed and pretty disgusting at times, but they are far more entertaining, well written and far more important in their series.

Thilde

Disliking Mineta is totally valid lol. Always amazing to me the lengths some people go to defend him

Night Sterling
>>146881133

I absolutely agree still I just shrug and move on with the story whenever he shows up 😂

usopps nose
>>146881133

yeahh that's fair, not much else you can do besides ignore it. but I'm gonna assume you're a dude (correct me if I'm wrong) so it makes sense that you don't find it as uncomfortable. when you've been sexually harrassed irl, it just makes it even more annoying watching it be inserted for laughs. Hope that makes sense :)

MihoKiryu

i mean i dont mind Mineta idc about pervy jokes they make in anime but i understant if people dont like him but there are def some good moments like when he helped Deku and Tsu fight in last season

MihoKiryu
>>146881133

@usopps nose there is more to him he is just another pervy character it ends up what you see as funny and what no people hate Sanji or Master Roshi but you are ok with Sanji i dont defend Mineta because idc but i am amazed how some people here in comments overacting over him like it is their first anime ever ...

TheNDGhost
>>146927838

Really? I've watched several reactors and read the comments in their videos and I don't think I've ever seen a Mineta defender. Edit: Aaand I just saw defenders below :D Mostly comparing to Roshi and Sanji

usopps nose
>>146881133

@mihokiryu No clue what you said in the beginning, but there are quite a few people who hate Sanji. I've never seen DBZ so idk what Roshi is like. I've got a big love-hate relationship with Sanji, I even stopped reading one piece for a while because of how annoying he was. But even then he has tons of other good qualities to make up for it. He's a well written character, he's cool, he's kind, noble etc. And that is the difference. Mineta has nothing to offer - his quirk is ass, his personality is sh!t, there is absolutely no substance to his character except being perverted. So while yes, him being a pervert is annoying, it's not the only reason he is disliked. There are tons of anime characters who are weirdos, but majority of them have more to their characters than just being gross (sanji, hisoka, brook etc.), hence why they are liked and mineta is not.

all my homies hate mineta

Eric H

There's no character I like to see others hate on more than Mineta.

Amir Shipp

Mineta is the only person in Class 1-A who acts like a teenage boy all the time, which is arguably why he's the "worst", but also I think it makes his hero arc pretty interesting to me. Like, a 15 year old being scared when terrorists show up makes sense, being lame and thinking life is about trying to chase skirts makes sense. He doesn't have a cool Quirk that makes him popular, he doesn't have the body, he's just some dickhead trying to live the "good life" he sees on TV. Even though I'll never cosign him being a perv, I always take it as the series reminding us how truly immature children are compared to the mature heroes they're trying to become.

Kong Fuzi
>>149055633

acts like a teenage boy?? Idk about you but i never harassed my female classmates

Amir Shipp
>>149055633

I know plenty of teenage boys who did and unfortunately still do. I remember when it was a form of dirty humor to try to flip up skirts, even if I myself knew that shit was wrong. I'm not saying "boys will be boys", there is no approval or excuses being made. I'm simply saying that Mineta's immaturity highlights his actual age, which is a stark juxtaposition to the role he's trying to grow into. It's not JUST ugly fanservice, it's a small narrative for a useless nobody that no one likes....and it's an experience many can resonate and learn from.

did u ignore his entire comment or something? he even said he doesn't cosign minetas actions
