Hate Mineta all you want but we all would’ve gone to Mt Lady. We’re all 1% Mineta

Ouff, you’re gunna love the next 2 episodes

Clayton

Sick fookin cover there Ange! I wonder, which one did you like playing the most out of the MHA openings so far :D

Carlie & Ange
>>149347478

This one would be my favourite so far! Maybe one of my favourites full stop. Not just in this show. I loved this song!

Nilexinator

taiyaki is a sweet baked "waffle" with red bean paste in it. they are quite tasty and no, they dont taste like fish at all :D

Meg

Clayton
>>149347478

Oh that´s great to hear! I think you will have a lot of fun with upcoming OP´s :D

Meg

Ange OMG that OP cover was fire!!

Meg

MVP for ep 15 could go to Office Nice Daichi for getting that lead on the "evil mastermind" lol. Next two episodes will be mental! Would be great if you guys could post 16-17 together. No pressure though!^^

CastSenpai

I don't know if you've decided on the movies or not, but I really think you guys should watch them in between some seasons. I think the first movie takes place after season 2, correct me if I'm wrong. They have some of the best animation in the series!

Charles

Killer work on the OP cover, Ange! Should have figured you'd like it with the guitar already in there. Gran Torino definitely deserved an MVP at some point! While Deku IS the one figuring things out and learning lessons about One for All, I think Gran Torino really teaches him well. He's opening him up to new ways of thinking ("Your admiration for All Might is like a shackle") and was putting him in new situations to get him out of his comfort zone. It's not like All Might ever beat Deku up 😂 Glad you two are enjoying the new plot points being introduced. This is where the show starts really opening up in terms of interesting concepts that make for cool discussions. It's been a real treat seeing you two get deeper into the show 😊

Aizensalami

For EP15, If it has to be "Hero of the Episode" then yeah it's Gran Torino. But if it's MVP of the Episode, it could've gone to Stain as well

LookingForOwls

Just listening to your list of wants at the end there - I think you guys are going to be very satisfied with the stories that get told in this series.

Phil

Master Yod... I mean Gran Torino is here!

Cap

They are all canon. They don't directly influence the story but they all do happen in the anime's world.

Carlos Cantu

Just got home from work and immediately had to tune into these, and korra next 😍😍

Kolton Nay

Dang that's gotta be one of my all time favorite OP covers you've done! just loved it

MJAnime
>>149356447

Totally agree. The movies are great and they would love them. I admit I'll be a little disappointed if they don't watch them.

Leah
>>149348131

I’ve also seen some locally that have custard in them! Though that could be a North American variant

Krokus

All Might to Deku in episode 13: "Gran Torino was the sworn friend of my predecessor. He retired a long time ago, so I forgot to count him..." So yes, Gran Torino is retired and has been for some time.

RoZiiii

Thank you for covering one my fave OPs from this show, that was peak

Zana

Unrelated to the actual reaction, I thought of this when ange brought up dragon ball z. Have you guys seen Dragon Ball Z Abridged on youtube? Not sure if you guys are familiar with the concept, but they basically dub over the voices and edit the episodes together however they want. They stay pretty close to the actual plotline, but change the script to make it funny. they go through most of dbz, from raditz to cell. It would be a great reaction for the channel, all the episodes are on youtube, and the voice actors do a pretty good job. Check it out :)

LuciusArtoriusCastus

in your post credit discussion you mentioned you would like to see a little bit more of All Mights past, im not too far ahead in the show so idk whether there is a dedicated All Might episode or something like that, but if you want even just a little bit of All Might, you guys absolutely can NOT skip the movie after season 2 (I saw in another comment you guys haven't decided whether you'd watch the movies). Not only are they canon, they're also just genuinely good stories that you would defintely enjoy. There's also a short 2 minute OVA called All Might Rising that is supposed to be watched right before the first movie: Two Heroes. Please please please, I know everybody watching your reactions definitely wants you guys to watch these. 🙏 great reaction as always!

Valkyr

guys you should watch the movie either after this arc, or after season 2

Noctis

this op cover was raw asf good stuff ange!

Gianni

Next weeks drop is going to be legendary

Zana
>>149389738

that would be cool! I know you guys' schedule is pretty full for the recent future so no rush obviously lol

A L

There's some great stuff coming in the back half of this season, but I really can't wait until we get to season 3.

A L
>>149389738

Please do this. The first few episodes are a bit rough by comparison, but by the time they finish the Saiyan Saga it started to find it's feet and became truly great. Despite the constant piss taking, you can tell how much they love the show.

A L
>>149465626

Considering how much she's cried already, Carlie is going to be a mess.

angelalala

Loved the cover~ Can't wait for y'all to finish the series and react to the ops and eds.

Kat

I haven’t watched this season since finding out Iida originally had red eyes in the manga. I liked that he had them for a moment at least 😆 they contrast well with the tones of his character design.

Spree

would you guys ever consider posting your reactions to the openings and outros? Just super curious cause I love MHA openings and loved your more musical reactions to the league music videos

Alexandre LE

From WIKIPEDIA: Taiyaki (鯛焼き, lit. 'baked sea bream') is a Japanese fish-shaped cake, commonly sold as street food. It imitates the shape of tai (鯛, red sea bream), which it is named after.[1] The most common filling is red bean paste that is made from sweetened adzuki beans.

Brett Crampton

My hero vigilantes follows another younger hero and it tskes place years before the main story and young aizawa and his classmates show up to help. Sadly its not in anime format yet

Mt Lady is the mvp in our hearts

Minor correction about how Deku’s quirk works here. I am afraid your DBZ knowledge led you astray Ange. Deku didn’t realize he would have to have One For All active all the time, like Goku and Gohan did with super saiyan in the Android saga. What Deku realized was that he was only activating it in his hands, or feet, or fingers, when he needed it, but what he needed to do was activate it throughout his whole body. When he was trying to jump in the alley, he was first turning it on in his feet, then had to think quickly to turn it on in his hands to grab hold. But nobody can keep thinking that quickly, turning it on one at a time in a different limb, while jumping around. It made his reaction time slow. If he turned it on throughout his whole body, it would be always on while jumping, so he wouldn’t have to think about it, making it more efficient. That’s why the microwave analogy helped. If the plate doesn’t turn, you get hot bits and cold bits. What you want is the heat to be spread evenly throughout the food. Deku is not going to have OFA turned on most of the time, unlike Goku and Gohan with super saiyan. He is still going to turn it on only when he is in a fight. You can tell when he turns it on by the green lightning.
