I ended up binging the season last week because your positive captions made me curious and I wanted to go in blind. You’re so right!! It’s absolutely underrated and I’m already feeling the wait for a new season. Thanks for convincing me to watch something new (again)!

Thats amazing! Definitely a sleeper series for sure. Hopefully it has enough popularity to adapt all of the manga material. Definitely keen on the story!

Maya Coleman

You guys are amazing and Kaiju no 8 is amazing ❤️

Zel

Maya Coleman

Omar Gabr

Thank you both for the splendid reactions to this anime!

Meg

I'm torn between feeling hyped to watch your reactions to the last two AMAZING episodes and feeling devastated that season 1 is over and that we need to wait till 2025 for season 2 😭 😭 😭 thank you so much Carlie and Ange for reacting to this show! I was not wrong in thinking you guys would absolutely love it haha! So happy I could get Ange's feedback about the soundtrack too. Some of the best I've heard in recent anime series. I also love how adorable you guys found Kafka's kaiju form to be because I did too HAHAHAH he's an absolute cutie and a GOAT like you said. I love him and Reno and Mina and Hoshino and Kikoru aaah they're all incredible!! Can't wait for season 2 next!! 😍 😍 (sorry I forget but if you haven't already, I highly recommend you guys watch Pacific Rim, it's a movie about Kaiju kinda in a similar setting to this anime and mankind fighting these monsters except with giant robots. It's so good and the soundtrack is incredible! Not asking for a reaction per se (though that would be incredible haha no pressure) but just dropping a movie rec ^^/)

Any plans to watch blue lock season 2 weekly?

Mango

Damn it not home yet. Gotta watch this later. 😩

CastSenpai

Every episode of this show is fantastic. It was even better than Solo Leveling to me, the characters are amazing and the action feels impactful. Season 2 hype!

Night Sterling

Man i wish the next season was out already 😭Need to see the goat Narumi in action

Sergio Suarez

THOSE DAMN CLIFFHANGERS!!!! Oh, and don't worry, THE MANGA DOES THAT TOO!!!!

Mereoleona14

watched the series in a day i think. it was much better and more fun than i thought it would be. loved your reactions to this anime

Cyber

I compare the reaction of the special forces corps and the higher ups similar to the hashira's introduction in demon slayer and how they reacted to Nezuko. It's fully justified that they cannot trust a kaiju being on the good side and not killing humans because there's no precedence, similar to a demon being on the demon slayer corps. I feel like we need an exposure therapy lol

Gavin fox

Glad you guys enjoyed the show ☺️ I love how Carlie always defending our mc 🤣 you’re not wrong for doing that

Joe Tucker

Director Shinomiya is a dogshit dad but he’s a truly excellent leader and soldier. He obviously hates Kaiju with a passion but was able to put that bias aside, absorb the information he was getting, and made an unpopular decision but carried the risk of that choice alone. Put him on the “crap dads who are excellent at their jobs” shelf next to Endeavor

wing-yi

absolutely loved your reactions to kaiju no 8!! I felt exactly the same way, I was really blown away when I watched it because I also didn't see too much hype around it ... can't wait to watch season 2 when it releases!

I miss this show already

For those who love AOT this show is a perfect show to fill the void 😎.

Kevin Pahson

I watched the whole season in one go, i thought it was so good that i watched it again the next day with a friend :D

The anime also stands out from most anime because of one particular thing: the main character here is not a child or teenager, and in general everyone except Kikoru is an adult, and you can tell that by the whole chemistry in the anime.
