for some reason whenever mha gets delivered i just start kicking the fk outta the air

Maya Coleman

You guys are the goats 🐐 ♥️

Lood

Sato, not Tetsutetsu.

Nilexinator

well. i still think eraserhead backed off on purpose to boost momos confidence. recoverygirl basically confirmed it

Meg

Yay been waiting patiently for these!! 😍

Meg

TetsuTetsu is from Class 1-B btw, he's the iron hardening guy (Kirishima's quirk twin lol). The guy who paired with Kirishima in the last episode was Sato. You probably don't remember his name or his quirk since it wasn't highlighted as much but to make it easier to remember, "sato" is the Japanese word for sugar and his quirk involves him getting a power up from consuming sugar cubes, or anything sweet basically. (Not a spoiler since it was already mentioned in prev eps)

Maxine

LMAO THE DERPY MINETA PIC 😂 honestly it's so unfair that momo and tsu were in the same ep, because both those girls were fantastic during their matches! I was so proud of momo when I first watched, because she has soooo much potential 🥹

Meg

Omg Carlie saying the Todoroki-Yaoyorozu exam venue was like AoT setup and then hearing Shoto speak right after hit me with such AoT feels, I miss Eren and the gang now haha >///<

Meg

Just remembered Momo is Armin's VA. THE AOT FEELS IS REAL!!

Smky_x3

Minetas MVP badge goes hard. Whoever picked that Pic... You are a genius.

Meg

I LOVE ep 22, it shows just how badass the MHA girls can be and I'm so here for it! As someone pointed out it would have been great if Momo and Tsu's battles were in two eps instead of one cos both of them deserved to have their MVP moments. But I agree, that was Momo's episode. Fun fact btw, idk if you were told this but Tsu's VA is the one who voiced MaoMao in The Apothecary Diaries (You'll hear her a lot clearer in future episodes) Ep 23, Mineta is a pervy a**hole but I agree he did pull through in that episode (loved the derpy pic in the MVP graph lmao xD). I think his "heroism" is that he put aside his pervyness so that they could win against Midnight, weird as it sounds lmao. This is why I love this class so much, you have such incredibly wholesome characters like Deku and Iida, badass fighters like Bakugo, Shoto, amazing intellects like Momo and then there's frigging Mineta man xD I think Koda (the animal voice guy) and Jiro (earphone jack) also made good contenders for MVP though. Thank you again for these amazing reactions you guys. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on ep 24 and the season finale HAHAHA I'm so excited, and for movie 1 too ofc! See you next week and once again, have a great trip!!

Kaning Guliko

Episode 24 is out next week!? Can we make one extra episode for this week? I can’t wait for the next one 🥹

charr lotte

My boy denji is not like mineta 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Lightning

Aww great reaction and can’t wait for the next! Also don’t feel bad about your MVP discussions! They are fantastic discussions which in this show can run pretty deep in some of the MVP debates because good cases are made for both in those types of situations. Everyone is a hero and inspires and grows :)

FTN Chicken

Aizawa denies it but based on Recovery Girl's reaction I'm pretty certain he let Momo and Shoto win even though she messed up the timing on the catapult. It would have been just too demoralizing if he still gave it his all after they successfully learned the lesson he was trying to teach them.

LookingForOwls

I don't really understand how Jiro hadn't heard Koda speak until now - doesn't he need to speak to use his quirk? Has he gone the entire show without using his quirk in front of his classmates somehow?

LookingForOwls
>>151194701

And I get that, but Aizawa was about to kick Midoriya out of class for not being able to use his quirk on day 1, so presumably Koda has had to use his quirk in some way in front of his classmates?

Aizensalami

I like how the teachers are being semi-serious but still giving a chance to the students. That's why some students are passing but by a hair.

roc_kerf_ace
>>151199814

They're really showing their professionalism. The point isn't to (just) beat up students to show them their weaknesses, it's to have them improve. And obviously each student needs a different approach, hence all of the different team-ups, match-ups and strategies.

AverageVP
>>151194701

If I recall correctly, it mentioned that others weren't using their quirks but Deku was still coming in last. The reason Aizawa was about to kick Midoriya out was because he was using his quirk recklessly.

Handler One

Poor Shoto is smart as hell, but clueless when it comes to social cues due to Endeavor limiting his interactions even with his own siblings let alone other people. It's heartbreaking and funny at the same time.

Schrammbo
>>151230967

thats a bit spoilerish i would say, they really dont know much about the whole endeavor stuff right now

Noah Hoorn
>>151230967

They saw everything in the sports fest with Shoto. There was a scene of Endeavor yanking his arm and saying, "Ignore them Shoto, they live in a different world than the one I'm training you for." While kids were playing. So I think it's okay probably.

Douglas Kelley
>>151194701

That doesn’t make sense. Midoriya still came in last place. You are telling me other students didn’t use their quirk and still did better than Midoriya?

Rodrigo Reyes Escobar

Mineta is so under-appreciated, MVP Mineta those who agree say "aye"

Cayseron
>>151243382

why is your pfp not surprising me at all considering your comment. when shoe fits...

Cayseron
>>151199814

teachers understand that if they try their best none of the kids have hope of passing the test and in the end it is supposed to be a test. they put lots of thought when pairing the students i believe this was even stated outright during tokoyami's and tsu's test. Test is not about defeating your enemy, its about pushing yourself through limits, working as a team, showing hero qualities. Kirishima and Sato failed not because cementos was not going easy on them unlike other teachers (allegedly), but because they failed to adapt. Cementos could use his powers to make their test way harder than it was, he could have trap them, lock them in the maze, actually fight them, simply cinderblock their legs so they cant move... instead he simply kept making walls for them to overcome and they kept doing same thing over and over. Even Nezu said that there was one route he left untouched on purpose so they always had chance of escaping. Reason they failed is because they were too focused on not getting crushed and avoiding imminent danger to see bigger picture. Momo and Shoto would have failed if Momo did not overcome her timidness, Koda and Jiro would have failed if Koda did not overcome his fear of bugs etc... Its about being better hero today than you were yesterday, going "plus ultra". nobody actually expects a student in their first year to win against teacher when they are fighting at their best. An lets be real, if that WAS the case and teachers are going all out then thats just bad school education system. Either nobody passes and so what was the lesson learned there? or couple of students in their first year with half assed powers and little to no strategy manage to defeat a pro hero in which case that teacher does not deserve to have hero license, i mean if two students can defeat you how can you go out and fight real bad guys putting your life at line?

>>151194701

more you think about it less sense it makes. Mineta was ranked higher than midoriya overall. that means running, hand grip, sit-ups, etc. Mineta was better than Midoriya in spite of his 3 month training with all might that got him all buffed so much he was moving all the junk by himself and with All might on top of it. Also Koda was 11th. I understand test was about quirk apprehension and how students try to apply their quirks to get better results in basic physical tests but how did animavoice help koda improve in any of it? how does he do situps better than half the class? :D it just makes no sense

Zel

Wind breaker please 🥺

Kolton Nay

I swear, your cover of this OP HYPES ME UP so hard before every episode i love it lol

LookingForOwls
>>151194701

Yea I think that's just something that's meant to be handwaved away, but in a show where the world is so carefully grounded in its own logic, it's sad to see that occasionally that just gets thrown out the window.

yessi

I AM SO READY FOR NEXT WEEK can't wait to hear your discussion on them and also MHA movies are PEAKKKK

Алта

Carlie hell nawww, I usually always agree with ur opinions, don’t say unpopular opinion and don’t doubt 😭😆

MJAnime

I'm not a fan of Mineta but I do like the fact that he came to a mature realization. He wanted to be cool and popular and thought that if he became a hero he would be. But meeting actual heroes and his other classmates with different personalities he realizes that "cool" people, people that already have a hero mindset to save others and sacrifice themselves for others, are the ones that become heroes, not the other way around.

MeL

this Midnight fight has been the most disappointing thing MHA has ever done 😭 (I hate mineta with a passion tho so I might be biased lmao)
