just for clarification, every story in "Arcane" is going to be a spinoff, including this one, because each story is its own thing within the Runeterra universe, so Vi and Jinx aren't the entire thing

First found you guys and first got into reaction videos at all from arcane. Lived out in the middle of the woods when it dropped and didn't have anyone to who really got my obsession with it so I started checking out reactions. It feels great to finally get a season 2 and it's made sweeter by knowing it's where my journey with you and several other reaction channels really blossomed. Cheers.

btw @ange, @carlie, no spoilers but considering you've seen a lot of league cinematics and lore... you should be able to guess by now what The Black Rose means. You've probably not seen a cinematic for that, but you've seen it as part of trivia and other lore dumps related to the involved cities mentioned in this show so far. I will leave it to you to dig deep in there and figure it out :)

im with Carle regarding isha and vi. Personally i think if they pulled the same thing for third time it would be bad writing. They did it with vi before and even with ekko in ep7. They made a point that powder is dead and moved on from that plot, it would be disappointing to pull the same thing again. For me that scene spoke much better stuff. When Jinx calls Vi out for becoming enforcer Vi responds with "and i couldnt imagine you orphaning kids". First of all, coming from pair of kids that got orphaned by enforcers just this two lines of dialogue speaks volumes and is brilliant writing. Then when Vi sees Isha protecting Jinx (and this is how i took and interpreted it) Vi realized killing Jinx would also create an orphan. Kill Jinx and Isha loses parent figure of sort. and while Vi was holding on her humanity and hesitated Caitlyn focus on her grief of losing mother and is more than happy to orphan another child if it means killing Jinx.

Is there a reason why episode 3 has several second-long cuts? I don't necessarily mind but I was watching along and was confused because episode 1 and 2 didn't have that. For example: in your episode 3 reaction at 12:45 there's a few second cut where Mel is just standing looking around when Lest is suddenly gone. It does make watching along a little more annoying because then we, the watch-along viewers, have to resync again. If it's for copyright issues I understand, but otherwise it'd be better (and less editing for you guys too) to just leave it in :P

Historically the Scottish aren't fond of the Irish, and the Irish has historically returned the sentiment. Don't know if it is a problem currently. But I still feel the internal oof when someone mentions them together.

Any cut you see in any full length reaction is for 2 reasons. The first is just that the camera stops recording every 24 minutes. So sometimes the scenes dont line up perfectly when we start the new recording. The 2nd reason is for audio/visual desync glitches. If it helps, there was nothing said outside of a few words in the cut. No meaningful commentary on our end.

Hmm just rewatching ep 2 after ep 3 and something hit me. When Sevika asked what Jinx is planning and she answered “To finish what’s left of her family”, she meant herself (I think)

sevika has hextech in her system from the big ep 3 explosion, its in her facial scars. im not sure if its cuz it came in contact with caits gun or cuz the wild runes made all hextech act out, but sevika was clearly severely effected by the consequences of what jayce and ekko were doing

medarda is such an epically well written character. she’s introduced season 1 saying one must “be both the fox and the wolf” and they execute in that character premise incredibly.

Did yall notice when the main hexcore was making every hex tech item glitch out jinx was thriving in the fight cause she is used to chaos and is one with it then towards the end of the fight cait also “became” one with the chaos by using the glitched out gun to win against sevika. Cait is turning more into jinx with every episode even vi noticed it

It is a shame. You're fun to watch but the amount of blur and distortion on the episode video and audio is unwatchable. In season one, it was watchable, but this is awful. There's no need for this many measures to combat copyright violations on Patreon.
