THIS ACT BROKE ME

Night Sterling

The amount of crying this entire act made do

Hori Zon

small clarification when Jinx say "jinx is dead" she means she disappeared since her fight with Vi, where she was really planning to die, and the whole gas colors in the city would be his funerals

Ravjeet B

I am still recovering from my first watch of act 2 but I will go thought the pain again with you both

MO

c&a why wouldnt you cut out the sound when uploading full reactions I dont get it. You completely destroy the possibility to enjoy the music, sound effects and voice actors while enjoying your reaction. Its not possible to sync my netflix perfectly to your reaction

Alexandre Alakoua

Hi. Can someone help me on how to view ep 4 to 6 reaction pls ? They are asking for a password wich I can’t find

Carlie & Ange
>>155511470

The sound is in the video… Its only for certain shows. Only One Piece at the moment because it has strict copyright. You dont need to sync up for these Arcane reactions. The sound is on

MO
>>155511470

I cant watch arcane for the first time while syncing your reaction because I cant make compromises on the sound.

Carlie & Ange
>>155511470

Oh sorry, we misread your initial message. You DONT want the sound. The problem is, majority of people dont like to or dont have the means to sync up. This is the best middle ground we can offer

MasterOfPuppets

Can't wait to suck it all in. This arc ist completely insane! 🤩😭

Wiznoot123

Ange you’re 100% on the money. There’s just a lot happening really fast and feels like we needed more time. It’s very “Dany is depressed and now she’s the mad queen” nothing will ever top that character flip in such a short time but it feels similar for sure

Levente Nagy

Yeah i’m not sure how the finale is going to look like. I just hope Jinx doesn’t go crazy again and gets a “happy” ending.

Erik Holst

Really I just come here to cry with Carlie...

NosferatuXodd

why's Carlie being mean to Sky in ep 6? thats actually her not the hexcore

DraGonFiirE

I would like the uncut patreon reactions to be unblurred

Hori Zon

I will be a believer of the time machine ekko in last act nothing of these last 10min can be canon ekko will FIX THIS

해반

I do think Cait arc is rushed and there is no salvaging that, but other choices that the writers made in episode 6 can and will be redeemed in the final 3 episodes

Night Sterling

My theory is Viktor's "healing" is actually killing the people and they're just zombies piloted by the arcane and Viktor was like the Signal tower for the arcane so when he died everyone lost connection. Pretty sure Jayce knows stuff about what's happening in Viktor's place

Krokus

I like how in the first frames for each video Ange looks more and more pensive.

Cayseron

you pretty much get the point anyways in ep5 about Ambessa and how she is opportunist and looking to achieve her own goals not making peace for piltover. I also believe she saw the blue like you said in ep4 but i think in that moment she saw opportunity. Her goal is to weaponize hextech and use it for her goals in noxus. If they find jinx and win the war odds are piltover have no reason to weaponize hextech anymore. SO Ambessa want war to go on for as long as it takes for her to get what she wants which is weapon that she can use against her own (noxus) enemies. But i also think she just assumed guard she saw is just a random jinxer not jinx herself and her plan was to let the jinxers play out their heist so she can stop them and then use the prison break as justification and incentive for weaponizing hextech. Granted scientists able to do that are missing but that doesnt mean she should just fix all the problems that she hopes weapons she wants will solve

Frida BØ
>>155517867

I’m sure they make them as clear and as unedited as they can, i don’t see why if they could just post the whole thing they wouldnt do so :) i mean its more work for them so it’s great that we can get the whole episode + the shorter YouTube safe version

NanoPIX

Whatever viktor was doing wasnt healing, those people were empty, souless, they were just bodies. I know people are going hard on jayce right now, but remember, he is the defender of tomorrow

Unknown Entity

Joined Patreon just to see your guys' uncut reaction to this. The flashbacks in episode 5 made me cry and they add so much depth to Silco and Vander's characters. Can't wait to watch!

Matthew Hunt Davies

Im not going to be too upset with Jace. He is either going to end up actually being right in killing Victor, or trying to. Or his head is actually just scrambled, and I can't really blame him for that.

Caraxes🐐DT
>>155517867

Other reactors don’t blur it tho I may be wrong but I thought patreon didn’t have to be edited? I mean I know one channel that’s reacting to avatar and you can watch the whole episode wit them no audio change or nothing…I’m honestly asking so don’t take the wrong way

Frida BØ
>>155517867

Yeah i watch other people who can do that but my guess is that depending on where the creators are from different copyright laws might get in the way? I don’t know too much about this stuff though :)

Greg K
>>155517867

You really think they just blur it to annoy you? Obviously they can't.

MooBong
>>155533033

Yeah he's been basically mentally tortured and corrupted by the Core for the entire time-skip which I imagine is a couple months or maybe a year.

kd420

In episode 6, you guys touch on that the ending was so abrupt and the pacing was too fast. we see that for the most part in act 2, for episode 4 and 5, half of 6, the pacing is very smooth and every scenario and situation is explained very clearly. I believe that this also represents jinx's sanity, and how Isha came to her life and everything felt so much better, as in her own words 'put on glasses', and at the second half when the conflict actually happened, it was so abrupt and shocking. This could represents the abruptness of how Isha came to her life and left, she quite literally fell from the sky and bring happiness to her. Then ripped away when she didn't expected it the most. (like how viewers didnt expected it would happened like this)

Glad Tidings

Ànd so, yet again, it all goes to shit with a small blue haired child with multiple gem stones in her pocket that she knows little about. I knew the creators made her for us to love, only to rip her away. I also dont think this is the last were seeing of Viktor, there a lot of litteral Jesus paralels here, he rocks up, performs miracles, takes everyones pain, and then he dies with it. But Sky also died, but she was right there with Viktor in the arcane. I think while Vik's body may be destroyed by Jayce, his soul is not, and he'll inhabit a mechanical body more akin to the one we see in LoL. And lastly, while Jayce is clealy having some troubles due to what he went to in that arcane singularity, I think him killing Viktor was actually the right thing to do, i'm not sure yet as to why, but I feel it's gonna turn out to be a good thing to sever Vik from all those people and stopping him from turning more.

Cayseron

Isha broke my heart in these episodes. Coloring the hair blue, Seeing jinx openly say Isha reminds her of powder and then seeing Isha watch everything from the sidelines and thinking "i can help" the same way Jinx did in episode 3 of season 1 and then stuffs 3 gemstones in the gun (the same way Jinx stuffed 3 gemstones inside the monkey toy)... it really feels like there is lot of paralels between ending of s1e3 and s2e6 with how powder (jinx) caused "death" of Vander and killing everyone in process and now powder (Isha) sacrifices herself causing "death" of vander again and well, we dont know if she ends up killing everyone or save everyone. cant wait next week

Cayseron
>>155529461

the flashback was so well done and it also made me realize both Vander and Silco were very close to their mom and in the way Vander was Vi's role model and Silco was Jinx's role model. Does make me wonder though, how much of his fatherly love for jinx was affected by the fact he was familiar and seemingly close to her mother

Cayseron
>>155527514

all they see is Viktor "helping" and improving lives and Jayce coming out of arcane seemingly mad and killing salo then proceeding to shoot viktor without warning. I think given the context people's reactions and opinions are validated. Now, if we gonna use game knowledge and act like smartasses because we know what is most probably coming next week then that is completely different story

Nico
>>155519675

I actually think while watching it back there were always little hints of caitlyn not trusting ambessa (episode 4 with maddie) or caitlyn not agreeing with ambessa handeling everything with brute force. So i dont think the reunion was very forced althoug i have to agree that they couldve brought more light into that (also in the teaser for the final act you could see vi blaming caitlyn for the actions she has done to the people in the undercity, so i dont think that their relationship is completely fine)

Jonah van Kerkhof
>>155519675

Yeah you hit the nail right on the head. Caitlyn never agreed with Ambessa's ways of handling and taking things with brute force. She was constantly pushing back against Ambessa's ways. The only reason Caitlyn was working along with Ambessa is because it was also beneficial for Caitlyn herself; giving her some support in her new role (which she was technically groomed into by Ambessa as well).

Paden Snell

There's a lot I'm really loving in this season. The overall direction of the story and all the scenes are impeccable. But character arcs seem a little rushed. Especially with the team ups and betrayals, characters seem like they are flip flopping a little too quickly and coulda used a little more development... Sevika forgiving and becoming buddies with jinx. Vi forgiving jinx... Cait betraying ambessa and teaming up with vi and jinx (seems like she shoulda gave vi an ultimatum of: give me jinx and i'll help you protect vander" or some such woulda made more sense for her, No?). Victor leaving jayce dramatically but then deciding actually hex core is great, Jayce come see. Each of these felt a bit jarring to me. I do really love the turn for jayce. Hes always felt a little boring to me and i love this for him. Depending on how they explain it in the last arc of course. And I really worry about how they are gonna land this plane and tie everything up in a satisfying way in the final arc. We didn't even see heimerdinger or ekko this arc and have to find out what happened to them and jayce in the other plane or whatever and tie them back in. And Mel and the black rose storyline feels Like it's quite a ways removed from the rest of the story and would need a lot of development. And *mild spoilers from game character*: Victor still doesn't fully resemble his game character, so pretty sure there's still quite a bit more to do with him *end spoilers* And doing Isha like that pisses me off. the parrallels fit the "cycle of violence" theme the show has going,I get it, but it feels a little cheap to introduce the disabled orphan girl to humanize jinx and then kill her off after a couple eps just to twist the knife.

Jonah van Kerkhof

I do agree with the whole episode 6 thing being.. abrupt. In fact, the fact that the series is ending in 3 more episodes seems crazy to me, as I feel like there's way too much ground to cover still. Remember, we still have the Mel/Black Rose storyline, the Ekko/Heimerdinger conundrum, and we don't even really know what the Arcane is, how it functions, what it did to Jayce to make him turn on Viktor kind of heartlessly. And then we have the rest of the cast of characters and how they're moving on from this moment. Ambessa, Caitlyn, Vi, Jinx, Warwick, Singed. There's like 9-ish characters storylines that need to be wrapped up on top of the whole overarching thing about the Arcane and what happens to Zaun and Piltover now. Honestly at this point I feel like we did actually need 3 seasons. I thought I was fine with 2 seasons, and maybe the last 3 episodes will prove me right, but unfortunately right now I feel like a lot of stuff will remain unresolved. Or maybe they're leaving some of it open for the next series? Although the writers did say that the story would be complete.. I get that they didn't want to drag it out, but right now it feels like 3 seasons wouldn't be dragging it out at all, it would just leave some breathing room for the viewers to process what's even happening in the story. EDIT: I will say, I hope Ryze will be in whatever Riot Games series we get next (if he doesn't get a mention in this final arc). He should tie into some of the Arcane stuff at least, since him and Heimerdinger have seen the same thing happen (with the fiery magicy flashback Heimerdinger had, Ryze was present for that). And he travels around the world, since he's kind of a semi-main character for the magic part of LoL in a way, so we could see him visit some of these characters. I can definitely see them going that route.

Denovis

im not crying u crying

Paden Snell
>>155527514

Yeah. I'm definitely team jayce on this one and excited to see what happened with him and ekko and heimer. The commune was giving off some pretty cult-y vibes and jayce has obviously seen SOME SHIT. Straight up squashed salo and then went straight to blast Victor with hardly a word. I think he's probably got pretty good reason.

MooBong

You can watch the intro btw

Alvin Everett

Jayce was doing the right thing as Viktor wanted the Hexcore destroyed, then Jayce, Heimerdinger & Ekko touched the Arcane, and suddenly Viktor (who is the Hexcore) was giving Hextech to the people (Heimerdinger warning them it was dangerous in S1). Jayce saw the future and what Viktor was doing is terrible, that’s why he kept saying “I’m not gonna fail.”

NootNoot

Hopefully Isha's death will be a catalyst for Jinx going "Isha had this image of me being her light, so i will turn my life around for the better" kinda thing. At least im hoping that. If Isha dies just for Jinx to go batshit crazy im going to be depressed for the whole of december.

ChrisBrah-4

one thing i think you guys missed is when the music from the start of the very first episode of arcane played the moment when warwick (vander) realised jinx was powder

Carlie & Ange
>>155517867

We have different copyright laws in our country unfortunately, so we do have to caution on the safer side. We essentially blur the parts where we are not providing commentary or parts where not an awful lot is happening. In Australia, fair use exception is when we are providing commentary/review on a piece of media. Hope this clarifies things!

Centric

ngl victor was dangerous cause think about it he dies they all die when he "transformed" them did he kill them and give them a part of his life either way they were like puppets

Centric
>>155545672

i feel like the next show is gonna cover and finish all the black rose stuff someone said ambessa is like the nick fury shes gonna connect this show to the next one but theres millions of years of lore in noxius and the 3 leaders and how their always fighting to go through so were prob gonna figure out mels magic thing but thats it

Chimpman

There's no way Viktor and Vander are dead imo. There's certain stuff that we haven't gotten from them yet.

Night Sterling
>>155518800

What if this is fixing it. I think jayce materializing in episode 5 was him getting sent back in time

ChrisBrah-4

"everyone ditch everything and go ionia" 😂😂

Jeff

hell nah i give this show a 0/10 they really robbed us of a happy ending jayce killed salo for no reason he didnt even try to communicate with vic just straight up capped him bruhh

Bazil

I love how Carlie says 'Are they about to fight?' about Jayce who is a trained combatant with a giant ass hammer and Salo, who is an unarmed sheltered richy boy who until last week couldn't even walk

MJ Eid
>>155561309

I find it funny how people are incapable of reading between the lines. Clearly 1. Jayce has been through some shit. 2. He knows something we don’t or 3. He being influenced by something. Everyone acting like Jayce is just straight up the same old Jayce who just decided to kill some people.

MJ Eid
>>155561309

Also at what point did anyone think arcane was going to be happy. It’s litterally a Shakespearean tragedy that has not had a single extended happy section.

MJ Eid
>>155558194

FYI Caitlin’s mom gave her the hextech gun in the lore and jayce never invented hextech. So anything is possible.

Jeff
>>155561309

relax dude this show is a 10/10 i just got emotional cause i just finished watching the show don't take it too seriously

Sanji

carlie skipping the intro is CRIMINAL!!! Great reactions as always though

MJ Eid
>>155527514

I don’t think they are validated. Peoples thinking on jayce is sooooooo shallow. Clearly there is something my greater at play you see it. You hear it in the dialogue. But I think the hard part of reactors and just mentality of the current generation of people is they want a pay off now. Imagine watching how many episodes of game of thrones passed before you got the answer to the white walkers

MJ Eid
>>155519675

Yeah I think a lot of people’s criticisms would be answered by a rewatch. The writers add soooooo many small details to hint at things. They tell stories by showing and not telling. But people don’t want to look for answers they want to be told the answers

Decaf

I kinda wanna see Singed work some more on Vander and give him a muzzle

ChrisBrah-4

quote of the week "That's it? That's sickening" ~ ange 2024

ChrisBrah-4

vi really needs to step up as a big sister here, she saw how much isha meant to jinx/powder and was there when she lost her, she cant abandon her now not again

DraGonFiirE
>>155517867

I thought patreon uploads arent as strict because its not really public like that On youtube its for sure needed But I guess you understand a lot more of the laws than I do 😊

Mango

I think now would be a good time to watch the ambessa music video. It doesn’t have spoilers and it would give you more info of her background. :d

Amrith

Ange spot on with the Isha and Vander prediction. Looks like we don't have to wait till EP 9.

Amrith
>>155555927

"Dear friend, across the river", the tune that powder sings at the very start of the show. They have used variations of that music in a couple places during this act.

IvI
>>155550295

I feel like Jayce desperately wanted to not do it, but felt due to whatever he saw, he truly had no other choice.

IvI
>>155561909

Given he has regeneration, and the explosion was right under his face, I wonder if that's how he ends up full wolf face, the last of his humanity gone after whatever Singed did to him, also causing his last human resembling feature would be fitting.

Jeff

that was the best way to go out thanks isha 🫡🫡🫡

Night Sterling
>>155533033

My guess is he's been redoing this scenario a bunch of times trying to get the perfect outcome they want and him materializing back in episode 5 was him being sent back in time by a certain boy who shattered time

Jess
>>155511470

Thanks so much for NOT cutting out the audio/sound. I actually really appreciate it because I don't have the means to sync up accurately and nicely with no audio. I also really enjoyed your Arcane reactions!

Carlie & Ange
>>155517867

Yeah we are lucky because patreon are not that strict, but unfortunately there was an incident about a year ago where companies started going after creators and their Patreon posts.

Jonah van Kerkhof
>>155545672

Yeah that would make sense as well. I'm a little torn on whether I'd like another character-driven series like this (where we'd basically focus on just Noxus and the characters in there) or a lore-driven series where we'd focus on Runeterra as a whole and the forces at play there. Now I do know that Ryze is born in Noxus, or at least the land which would be called Noxus, so it would be very cool if we went way back to that time period with Ryze learning about the World Runes, which would connect it to Arcane as well and we could fast-forward through time with Ryze and Noxus showing us the Rune Wars where the World Runes were being used to wage war. Basically going the middle route of both character-driven and lore-driven. Now that I think about it, that would be kind of sick and would still be loosely connected to Arcane.

L S

everytime i think theres a minor issue with the show it fixes it... this show is just different... how do they manage to subvert expectations every single time. with atla and fmab my favorite animated show

Cayseron
>>155559710

i have a feeling that is what next show is going to be about. i feel like ambessa and mel storyline is setup for future project. i dont see how their side is supposed to resolve in 3 episodes that make sense. I think next 3 episodes gonna focus more on victor and jayce and glorious evolution and finish the piltover plot and ambessa/singer/mel/black rose stuff will remain unresolved and tease next project that will focus on noxus

Cayseron
>>155557080

when jayce spoke to salo it was clearly shown that they remain their humanity. and most of victors storyline in the 2nd part of s2 was about his desire to save humanity. Salo was not a puppet as he was in control of his body and he had free will. it was Salo who said he will keep that conversation secret. it wasnt Viktor who said "dont worry jayce salo cant speak". The point of this 2nd act is to show how much viktor value humanity and it is because they werent puppets that last scene with viktor is so impactful when he finally comes to realization humanity he tries to save so much is very reason for all the bad stuff he is trying to prevent. BY stating these people were just puppets or zombies or whatever term people wanna use is literally taking away the major part of viktors plotline and character development. People getting blinded by what they know is coming and fail to see what is happening

Cayseron
>>155545672

i feel like act 3 will focus on jayce and viktor and ekko+heimendinger will have appearance for final twist and resolution of the piltover/zaun arc. Black rose / mel and ambessa/singed storylines are going to be just a setup for next show. I also feel like they are setting this up so that mel becomes champion in game around time they start releasing the new show

Martina

is episode 4 reaction (edited) missing?

Cayseron
>>155523118

Salo had free will. He was doing Viktors bidding out of respect and gratitude not because he was mind controlled. It was Salo who said he will keep their conversation secret, that wasnt Viktor making a statement. Zombies or puppets dont act like that. And when Jayce "kills" viktor and sever connection with the rest of them they dont just fall down dead like the puppet strings are cut off, they are actually in pain and hurting. Feeling pain (feeling emotions) and clearly alive. They are suffering drawbacks from separation. More importantly the whole focus on viktor storyline in this act same as whole season 1 is about his desire to save humanity. to cure diseases, to make pain go away. "you dont need to suffer anymore". Humanity is one thing he tries to preserve which is why the last scene where he comes to realization about humanity being the cause of all the suffering is so brilliant and heartbreaking. You take away big part of his character development by saying he was just turning people into zombies

Night Sterling
>>155523118

I get that humanity is the one thing he’s trying to preserve but i really dont think he’s healing them. I dont doubt that he thinks he’s healing them or that that is what his intentions are BUT i do doubt the intentions of the hexcore that may or may not be using skye’s image to guide viktor into doing what it wants him to do, for what purpose? Idk. I trust Viktor, i don’t trust the thing giving him his powers. The fact that they HAVE to be connected to Viktor is just really giving me necromancer vibes

Brakthir

Genuinely confused why y'all are skipping the opening? It has no spoilers in it. You watched the trailers which had way more spoilers in it but are skipping the opening?

Gabriel Barott
>>155523118

In addition to Night Sterling's comments - I also think it's important to recognize that the Arcane may be giving the appearance of providing these people with free will. It also is not clear that Viktor's disciples, for lack of a better word, were in pain when Viktor died. For all we know it could have just been the Arcane speaking through them vocally in some manner.

Celi
>>155617779

there isn't much in the opening anyways, same music as season 1 with some nice art. that's it lol

Ultraporing

I got some Jinx information Ange. 87. This is what we counted on another stream while watching. It's the Jinx side boobs in act 2. You are welcome xD.

Mathies

my take on Caitlyns turn is this: a bit abrupt, but it makes total sense to me and here's why: caitlyns entire vengeance arc was all about the loss of her mother and how she let it consume her and how much she was hurting. If Vi tells her that she has a chance to save her dad, and that dad is the creature noxus is trying to hunt down, then she has to do whatever it takes for Vi not to lose him again because she loves her and she knows what losing a parent is like now. Besides that there were clear hints all throughout act 2 that she was butting heads with ambessa and wanted to go for a much more peaceful route, especially since its been half a year now and her revenge feelings have mellowed

Mathies
>>155561309

bruh ur watching arcane this is what you fucking signed up for

Mathies

so what singed said is that he had a serum to inject into warwick that would be able to undo/nullify all of Viktor's work, since they cant allow that. but right before he got to do it, Caitlyn stopped him

Gabriel Barott
>>155515656

Nah I disagree, I think it makes sense and it wasn't even a complete flip. She only flipped because she didn't know Vi was mending things with Jinx again. Caitlyn is clearly upset by the fact that Vi didn't mention that part.

Monkey D. Tomy

Isha just skyrocketed to my top three arcane characters 🙏 Them being 1. Jinx 2. Silco 3. Isha 🔥

Hytechturtle

Lets all calm down about Jayce and think what he might have seen to kill his best friend.

Nilton Felix

I have A LOT of troubles and doubts about how Arcane is gonna end. I'm kinda worried about how the informations are being spilled too fast in the writing. I'm with Ange in this one like... I think they are rushing the narrative too much

Ryan

I'm probably posting this a bit late and you may not see it, but the reason none of the prisoners said anything in episode 4 during the prison break was because the animators wanted to honor the voice actress for Babette, the yordle woman with the big red hair and makeup who ran the brothel in season 1. She had sadly passed away shortly before the season 1 premier.
