Jinx believers rise up, i know y’all saw the theorizes about her well being ✊

Marc Senécal

omg yes so excited to watch this with you guys

Mango

🧁🧁🧁🧁 iykyk

Night Sterling

I hope next series we get Mel as the MC

limm

omg the isha's song cover was absolutely beautiful SOBBING

Hori Zon

was a great journey hope you will be there for the next project !

Amrith

Ep 7 was perfectly paced. What happened after that? While S1 is a 10/10 in my opinion with very few logical loopholes, this one was a mixed bag. I liked a lot of it and some of it just disappointed with the bizarre rushed choices being made here as a non-league player.

IvI

One of the saddest parts of this arc is the final line of episode 8. "No. You won't." Sky or well, Viktor's humanity, telling him to his face he won't be capable of missing it once he's gone full robot. Never go full robot.

zzip711

cover actually made me tear up, damn you Ange

DanDaMan

we were warned and yet i still cried when he played that cover of Isha's song

Douglas Kelley

Overall the action was great and of course the animation but the story just didn’t pull me in like the first season.

Matthew Hunt Davies

That cover was amazing. I'm not even exaggerating, I had goosebumps and had some tears forming in my eyes. I loved that OST. Ange that was quality.

Jonah van Kerkhof
>>156202881

I don't think it was TOO rushed, however, I think it would've been perfect if we had another set of 3 episodes. And I think Riot and Fortiche probably realised this after S1 as well (or perhaps during S1 development already) and they had to make a choice: do we make a fast-paced S2 or do we make a drawn-out S3. And I don't think that's an easy choice to make, especially seeing as how a lot of the drawn out series get a lot of hate for having filler just for the sake of making things fit. Admittedly, those series are generally a lot longer than 18 episodes of ~40 minutes. That being said, I can't believe it's over and I just want more, so I get it.

LandofBill
>>156202881

As a League player the choices are still bizarre and i was fine until this act... they really dropped the ball for me on this one. I say this as someone who has simped for this show since season 1 released.

LandofBill
>>156201668

pretty obvious she is alive, they make it pretty clear with the cait scene at the end.

Amrith

Wow Ange nailed that cover.. Props.

Cayseron
>>156201983

i feel like its almost certain that next series is going to be noxus. i mean i cant think of any other reason for showing the 3-eyed raven otherwise. Plus big part of arcane was just a setup for noxus stuff. Such as Ambessa recruiting Singed to build weapons for noxus, Mel's plot regarding "wolf" and black rose stuff. Now, i dont know if Mel is going to be MC but i am confident they are stalling making Mel into champion so that she gets released as one around the time when its convenient for promoting the next series

Amrith
>>156202881

i agree.. i would have been happy with another season more those characters without question. But that aside the narrative does require 5 more episodes. They could have found a middle ground somewhere..

Lizzie

Unfortunately I think this act suffered the most from pacing issues

Amrith
>>156202881

you know its rushed when they drop the ball at the biggest moment of the season at the very end and they do a cop-out anyway. Narrative wise makes sense, I guess.

emma

Am i the only one that 100% loved this act? The only thing that I think could've been done better is Cait's character, but it really doesn't matter that much to me in the grand scheme of things.

Donovan Allen
>>156207042

I loved it too! Everyone is bitching about pacing, but my response is fork over a few million to the project and you’ll get your extra episodes.

vashuu

Jinx didn't actually die cause in the scene where cait was watching the vent and the monkey head on her hand that she didn't actually die. In the beginning of the show she said she wanted to ride in those airship and now she's in one having an adventure of her own.

Jason
>>156207042

I just finished it minutes ago, I can't articulate what I feel, I don't have the mind to determine if what they did was the best, nor do I want to think or judge what would be better All I can say is, I was completely sucked in and my mind was lost in the world in the show during the finale, it was truly an experience.

Amrith
>>156207042

There is a reason because S1 and it's pacing exists. That went through an entire Powder vs Ekko child montage in 30s and we got the backstory in Ep 7 in S1 in the bridge scene. On the other hand..is just ok Heimer gets the entire thing going for ekko in a few hours on his own while he is away on a party, i mean pad and all.. Zaun verses Piltover was completely abandoned as a storyline in the end. That is my biggest gripe..The one that separated these characters/ the classism the divide, what Silco and Vander were fighting for was so rushed.. it became a byline in the end.

MJ Eid
>>156207042

after a rewatch i loved the act. but when i saw one episode was about 34 min of air time. i was a little upset

Anna Kyruin
>>156207767

I wanted to add: You can see a streak of pink fly away from the monkey bomb, which is how we have always seen Jinx shimmer dash. That line "Some day, I'm gonna ride in one of those things" is Powder's first spoken line. Silco told Jinx the only way to escape from the cycle of killing is to find the will to walk away. Jinx faked her death to free Vi from trying to save her. P.S. I think Vander/Warwick is likely still alive, I don't think that explosion could kill him with his apex shimmer, I wouldn't be surprised if we see him in some future series with his more final wolf like form after it put him back together. I don't think he'll remember very much though. I think Cait is obsessing about the hex gate cooling system at the end because no remains of either of them were found.

Anna Kyruin
>>156206277

Acts 2 and 3 needed four episodes. There's a missing transition episode for each. In act 2 we need a transition episode to ground Cait's motivation for rebelling against Ambessa. In act 3 we need a transition episode to rally Piltover and Zaun and mourn Isha.

Regnar Belloc Mesa
>>156207767

That and a couple more things: Cait smiles when checking the blueprints of the hexgate because she realizes Jinx escaped through one of the air vents. When we see the aircraft just before the ending card, the scene glitches, that's the effect they used for a lot of Jinx's scenes throughout the show. She is alive.

Amrith
>>156207767

Jinx died when she met Isha. It is mentioned in the show by Jinx herself. The rest of the show is about not being Jinx in the eyes of everyone else even though she is a reluctant savior in the prison.

Filip
>>156207767

if Jinx died, then they did her quite dirty, imo Riot screwed this plot. In general the last episode was very rushed, quite dissappointed tbh, especially with Jinx. A side note - death of Isha was like pointless (ofc it just changed Jinx again, apart from that pointless). They introudced her just to kill her

Chelly

The worst part about this arc was how Sevika didn’t say ONE GODDAMN WORD, I really started to like her man 😭 not even a single word about Isha either. At least we kindaaaaaaa(?) got a Jinx/Ekko talking scene? But yeah, those were the things I was most disappointed by. That and the fact that when Jinx fell I wasn’t really that sad even tho she I was so heavily emotionally invested in her character. Idk what they says lol. Everything else I think was handled well enough. Either way, I’m really grateful to have gotten a show like this. Something we can point to and say: look people, this is a glimpse of what studios are capable of when they give a shit (just make sure they don’t run out of money…). It’s a great example of how important the medium of animation is as well. So whatever the general sentiment ends up being once the dusts settles, this show will always have a special place in my heart and is definitely an all-timer.

zdravko georgiev

Arcane wasn't supposed to be canon to League. After season one riot decided to fuse all universes they've created and stated that Arcane and everything they produce from now on will be canon

Mango

Caitlyn and Vi "HankyPanky", parallels the scene when Jayce and Mel were "HankyPanky", while Victor was dying on the side. In Cait and Vi scene it's Jinx whose dying on the side 😫

Jacob Gardner

Man I was WAYYY off on the Darius prediction with Mel LOL

Hertog

Okay episode 8 and 9 were terrible, this show could have used a third season to help with the pacing

Mango

Caitlyn helping Vi busting Jinx out of jail might have been the reason Vi was just like “fuck it, I love this woman.” My only problem might have been that they did it in the prison where Jinx was held. They could have walked back to Cait house or something 😪.

Seth Leloup

One thing you must keep in mind as to "why couldn't be some other way" You have to remember the lore is "established". Although they did kill a bunch of people and made some slight variations, the main core of the lore of every character remains the same. Because they still "exist" in a bunch of other media. Arcane was made during a time Riot had put on themselves to unite all their media into one single canon lore. If they were to give Jinx a "happy ending" she wouldn't be THE JINX anymore. She would be some alternate universe Jinx, - which they gave us already in episode 7. THAT is your fanservice "here, she can be happy". But THE JINX is the one you see in Arcane. And that's it. I'm not saying I'm happy she died. I would rather she remained alive, but there was never a happy ending possible for Jinx. The most they could do is leave her to remain crazy and causing chaos (Which is the established lore). And that would also feel a little weird with Arcane's whole theme and overarching story.

Jonah van Kerkhof
>>156215988

Yeah I think Carlie & Ange still misunderstood this even after their midnight return. Caitlyn said "Did you really think I needed all the guards for the Hexgates?" to let Vi know that the reason Vi was able to just walk into the jail in the first place was because Caitlyn didn't bother guarding Jinx because she assumed Vi was going there to bust her out. I'd even go as far as to say that Caitlyn would've been disappointed in Vi if she wasn't going to bust out Jinx. And I think it also shows that, although Caitlyn hates Jinx for being the cause of her mother's death, deep down she's trying to forgive her and see the good in her too. Which is further reinforced by the fact that she's potentially searching for where Jinx could be, to find and rescue her.

Wiznoot123

Not Ange needing more time to research the “Kiramountains” in episode 8. Off cam of course. 🤣🤣🤣

Daniel J

Rewatching has changed my view of the show for the better I think. Season 2 definitely could of done with being a little longer, maybe just a couple of episodes. The fate of Jinx being left ambiguous was fine to me, surprised Ambessa is dead dead. The only character I'm actually disappointed in is Warwick tbh. I'm also kind of surprised with the amount of negativity I've seen about the ending. I get being a bit disappointed but calling it terrible, or a 1/10, or comparing it to Game of Thrones... Did we watch the same show?

L S

"i might need to take this upstairs for analysis" peak quote

Brandon Woodward

Think the last two episodes were not poorly paced but definitely the worst in a show with amazing writing until that point, I agree with ange felt like the last two episodes could’ve been extended into 3 or 4 episodes but I have no doubt they probably wanted to do that but couldn’t. Still a peak show

Martina

I’m having mixed feelings. I did like this season a lot, but season 1 was a masterpiece, and if they managed to stick the landing a bit better, it would go down in history as the best animated show ever.

Grief

EDIT: i JUST GOT TO THE END OF THE VIDEO, YOU GUYS CAUGHT THE JINX CLUE I would LOVE an Arcane recap from you guys about what themes you guys picked up from the show and what you're personal theories are.

Cayseron

so at start of s1e2 mysterious creature that we assumed was ryze because of the skin complexion and colouring (nice misdirection riot games... well done) is Viktor. Viktor looks all over the world and when he finds him he saves Jayce and brings him to piltover, giving him the rune. Jayce gets obsessed with rune and makes hextech with Viktor. Viktor gets obsessed with hextech hoping it can improve peoples lives. In the end Jayce realized it was VIktor who gave him the rune in s1e2 and he gives him rune back creating the infinite loop aka chicken/egg paradox. Because that means the rune Jayce gets in beggining is same rune he gives Viktor in the end which then VIktor takes and seeks out young Jayce to save him, bring him to piltover and give him rune again and again and again. This infinite loop is what makes all the infinite alternative universes possible like one Ekko and heimendinger end up in during s2e7.

Afiq Dee hya

Now that Jinx from the other dimension knows that multiverse exist, she probably desperate to meet Vi again. The research and stuff that ekko and heimedinger did are still available and she still has the hex crystals left. There's no stopping her from doing it. Maybe she actually did it but got all messed up in the process and becomes crazy. So BAM jinx is still there in their piltover rampaging everything like in the lore. (Help me carlie ange im coping so hard)

Paden Snell

pacing was a little rushed in the 2nd and 3rd act i think. coulda used another couple episodes to flesh a few more things out especially the transitions in character motivations and allegiances. but all in all they did great with the number of episodes they had. im also still kinda pissed about isha. felt like kinda a cheap shot to introduce the disabled girl to humanize jinx only to have her sacrifice herself for a gutpunch moment, especially when nothing even really came of it. we never see sevika or jinx or vi mention her again... i do actually really love this ending for jinx. sailing off on an airship for a fresh start, is a happier ending for her than i'd have imagined. i dont see any way she could've stayed in piltover and reckoned with all the murders she did and what not overall i thought season 1 was a masterpiece 10/10. i would give season 2 like an 8.5 maybe? idk... I rewatched it with your reaction but probably wont know how i feel til i sit with it for some time still great but pacing felt a bit rushed and i have a few nitpicks

Cayseron
>>156218671

Reason why i think this loop is important is because we know there is lot more in zaun and piltover and lot more characters that are not even introduced and with Arcane being canon i was worried how will that affect all the other characters. For example Blitzcrank, the old lore (before it was all retconed and brought to blank state where nothing is canon until new media either reconfirm or change it) states that it was Viktor who made blitzcrank but in arcane there is no hints of blitzcrank and Blitz story simply doesnt fit the narrative of arcane as we see it. But by creating this loop of jayce and viktor giving the rune back and forth to each other thus creating infinite different universes it means all the characters and champions can still be canon just parts of different universes which now thanks to this ending are all canon not fillers or spin offs. For example in arcane we have Renni, Smeech and Chross as Chem barons. But in alternate universe they could be Renata, twitch and urgot And more importantly, i think this setup for multiverse in runetera is very important not just because Ekko would not make sense otherwise but also because Chronomancy is already established power system in the world of runetera and plays major role in world building with Zilean and more

Cayseron

Ange after episode 8. "so in this episode we had... a lot of Viktor, a lot of Mel, a lot of Jayce..." its ok Ange, just say what you really wanted to say, you wanted more of Caitlyn and Vi in that episode and got a lot of everyone else instead :P

Chelly
>>156219609

I was honestly fine with getting more from those characters, I think their stuff required more focus than whatever was happening with Vi/Cait. Like I could pretty much put the pieces together for them personally lol

Mango
>>156215988

Yeah, Caitlyn doing all that for Vi really made Vi see that Caitlyn really cares about Jinx. Or rather hates her less.

Mango
>>156216907

Yeah, seeing all that negativity towards the show upsets me quiet a bit 😂 I just decided to stay on the positive side of the fandom, and not read the negative ones.

Thomas Moseley

I did like the last couple episodes a little less but obviously still absolutely loved the show. Would've been to nice have a bit more time but since one 40 minute episode apparently requires almost 60,000 hand animated frames that wouldn't have been impossible without having us wait longer. Glad CaitVi ended up together though was a bit strange them going from fighting to sleeping together in their next scene in episode 8 (not that I'm complaining). Don't know very much about LoL outside of Arcane but looked up Noxus since it's presumably their next project and of their champions would be nice to see Katarina, Draven or Riven

Amarok

I think, Jinx survived and left in the final shot on the Airship. For one, Cait in the final scenes was checking that in the place Jinx blew up with Vander and there were vent ducks, for 2nd in the 1st season, Powder said that one day she 'will fly one', referring to an airship the gang were watching, which in the finals scene was followed up with the customary Jinx colorful scratches. 3rd, words of the song 'If there was nothing to fight or protect, maybe then I could finally be free', she already told Vi to be happy with Cait, she lost Vander and Isha, she helped in the final fight, there was nothing more to fight and protect.

Matthew Hunt Davies

All of the events in the finale I really liked, but it's a tough pill to swallow because jinx is in my top 2, maybe top 1. Although I think if we had just 5 more minutes, it would have been nearly perfect for me.

Jane

RE: jinx’s ending, I agree with Ange in that her “death” was NOT the best outcome for her. And this is my opinion I feel the writing this season has been a big miss. In season 1 arcane was centered on the sisters and the socio-implications of Piltover’s oppression of Zaun and how that seeped into the characters themselves/their motivations and their relationships and in season 2 that seems to have been thrown out the window. Whatever crimes jinx has committed doesnt exist in a vacuum, Piltover has committed more crimes to Zaun then what Jinx herself has so why is she the only one that has to constantly go through so much trauma only to die in the end? And idc for the “jinx is really alive” copes either because she deserves to be with her sister. The show started with Vi snd Jinx and it should have ended with those two. Jinx is not the only person who has committed crimes in this show yet she suffered more than most and gets the short stick in the end. Its just misery porn at this point.

Nick

You guys were right on the money on your prediction of jinx distancing herself. Jinx does in fact survive the fall, hinted at Caitlyn looking at the map of the tower in search of her escape, but also the final scene of the airship flying away. This is the exact same kind of airship Jinx said she wants to fly on at the beginning of S1 E1 when they are on the rooftops of Piltover. You also see "THE END" written in final frame in Jinx's handwriting.

Katalakelmi

As someone who considered S1 to be a masterpiece of storytelling the ending of S2 is a disappointment of the highest magnitude. It's a jumbled mess of writing and pacing. I do not know why, maybe they were rushed or pressured but it's just.. a shitshow. To any fan of Arcane I would almost recommend to end it in S2 E6 and consider E7 as an epilogue.

Sofia & Chill

I had some issues with this season. I have to say I enjoyed Act 3 more than act 2, but it still had issues like the pacing and a bit more exposition on what we were seeing. I actually had tears in my eyes when Viktor was revealed to be the mage that brought this version of Jayce here, and also Ekko's such a dope character. The animation and voice acting was undefeated but story wise they should have taken their time, instead of rushing for the money hungry producers. I could see the vision but the execution missed a few marks.

DGeass92

So, Jinx is on an airship, left through air ducts, all the hints have been mentioned except one. Watch. the Explosion. Frame. By Frame. You can see the purple line outstretching away from the explosion, that means trace of her shimmer eyes. So that thing is a done deal. But yeah, I really wanted intercharacter relationships to be explored more. Like when Vi confronts Cait about arresting Jinx. That was the kind of scene we needed more of. A little more in act 2 and a lot more in act 3. I have the feeling that act 1 was the most season-one-y and then I have a feeling they got kind of burned out from having worked on these characters for so many years. Thus the best episode in second and third act woul;d be 7, cuz the inspiration from doing something fresh was there again. And finally. The entrance by Jinx in ep 9 was cool. But I wouldve wanted her to have one last badass fight, which we kind of didnt get... Oof. But with all the criticism, it was still amazing!

Nate

pain🥲🥲, also beautiful cover ange!

Alvin Everett

I don’t think Jayce, Viktor, Jinx or Warwick are dead.

Sanji
>>156221725

They teased certain champions at the end but I can tell you rn some of the names you listed are improbable

YYZHawk
>>156225716

Not a reach at all, it is heavily implied and all the signs are there. Not only that but the ship seen leaving at the end is the exact same ship that is seen in episode 1 when Powder says "one day, I'm going to ride one of those".

JP77

JUST STARTED AND THAT COVER WAS AMAZING!! WOW TRULY

JP77
>>156234322

Funny how it transitions from the amazing cover to the netflix "du-don" haha! was not ready for that

AngelFr0m Sky

Sincerely for me this show was the best series ive ever seen, as a spectator and a league fan for many years, this was a dream came even more amazing that ive could imagine. Season 1 for me was a 10/10 but this season was 12/10. The season had a lot of peak music and animation there was a lot of hints in the earlier episodes that lead into these ones even when jinx its painting ishas hair, in the mirror was a broken piece in jinx heart, and a lot easter eggs that i could tell. and im happy with the kinda open ending, cuz its leading to the next riot series, to have some of this characters and hints of the others like. Jinx probably is not dead and escaped to demacia probably in the zeppelin and in the last frame u could see "the end" in the jinx type of drawing, then u see orianna alive, the crow with the 3 eyes at the end on the top of the hexgates, its a crow from a champion of noxus (Swain) and probably gonna lead us to the next series in Noxus and had some importance along with Mel and probably (Darius) another important champion of Noxus. And idk if the guy playing the piano was jhin (probably was just a random guy) but i have to mention him. And sincerely for me the only confirmed dead person was ambessa, with these things of singed reviving people and the timelines with ekko i think probably jayce, viktor, warwick, heimer and even isha could be alive and see them in another show in another region. For me was one of my happiest days, how much i love this universe and arcane and same as sad cuz we have to wait probably 4 or 5 years for other riot/fortiche show. Sorry for the tons of text and the bad english, its not my first language but i had to put it out of my chest. Love you guys so much and your reactions and hope someday u could see some detaills or easteareggs in Necrits videos.

kd420
>>156224708

to each their own! i think the story was done beautifully.

Heman

I am not ok after ep 7, such a cruel but beautiful episode. what could have been.... the song during jinx and ekko dancing is now on repeat

imvirals
>>156225716

the airship at the end could just as easily be a thematic callback to the opening, rather than proof that she's on it. The ending is intentionally ambiguous, so without any direct confirmation, saying she's alive feels more like a reach than a certainty.

imvirals
>>156223619

"In season 1 arcane was centered on the sisters and the socio-implications of Piltover’s oppression of Zaun and how that seeped into the characters themselves/their motivations and their relationships and in season 2 that seems to have been thrown out the window" ive been struggling to articulate this as clear as this but this is what I felt like and same with the jinx death it's just a poor execution and only truly feel like it was their to amplify misery

Marc Senécal
>>156225716

Near the very end Cait literally looks at the plans of the area where jinx fell and sees from where she escaped, she even cracks a smile when she realizes it. There's no other reason for that moment other than to confirm she's alive. Why else would Cait look at the plans of the exact area where it happened and then smile after zooming on the vents? If it was JUST the shimmer purple line alone I would agree that its a reach, but that short Caitlyn moment pretty much confirms it there's no other possible meaning to that. Not only is it not a reach, its about as close to a confirmation you can get without a full on official confirmation lmao.

Cyber

@ange/carlie, fun thing i have hopes for: the powder of the other timeline, she saw the ekko that she kissed leave with the device, and she had much more hex crystals there in her drawer. That same ekko kept telling her that sometimes the only way to move forward, you have to leave things behind. in this timeline, where this jinx that just wanted to die, finally manages to do it by saving her sister and being there for her, the powder in the other timeline has all the schematics and saw the experiment unfold and has MORE crystals then the small shards that ekko collected. So there's an open ended question if that powder, who keeps visiting her sister's memorial, finally listens to vander's words of this timeline, and sets out to leave the bar, to leave this entire timeline, to find her purpose and do great things... and maybe her desire to see her sister and ekko pushes to her to travel back, and to be reunited with them in this known timeline that we saw.

Cyber

puts a whole new meaning on Jayce being the "Protector of TOMORROW" as his in-game title, right?

Cyber

I personally called viktor's army as "Arcanists". Like a play on word of Arcane, Anarchist, Machinist, canisters (vessels for viktor), and well... CULTISTS.

Phil

That cover 💔 I really tried not to cry

Cyber

and ekko was indeed .. "The Boy Savior"

Cyber
>>156223619

while this may sound true to you, but jinx's character realized through silco's words that the only way to break the cycle is to have the willpower to walk away. Her being alive and still in piltover/zaun will only cause pilties to be apprehensive about merging with zaun again due to her crimes, and the zaunites would still look to her as a revolutionary instead of playing the politics through sevika. Silco asked for a seat on the council, and sevika who's only ever been loyal to Zaun and nothing else, got that seat. Not vander, not silco, not jinx, sevika. And jinx staying there would have been a distraction and potentially another trigger point for people like caitlyn and others who wouldnt let go of the "we must avenge our fallen, and need to seek vengence/retribution" mindset, much like ambessa. Jinx leaving creates a blank slate for them all. Death or Gone, that NEEDED to happen. and besides... i still hold to my theory that the powder of the other timeline would finally leave the bar, take a leap forward using her hex crystals and the designs she helped build with heim/ekko, and follow those words like ekko/vander told her to do, even if it meant leaving some pieces behind in her world... all because we can still see that she wants to be with her sister, and maybe even the ekko that she kissed.

HanibalLectr

Are you guys going to react to the new season of Re Zero?

Glad Tidings

To lend some more credence to Jinx still being alive, if you look at the explosion she made to take out Warwick, right before it goes off you can see a purple/pink streak moving away at 1 o'clock, it looks a lot like Jinx' shimmer movement. I think Jinx intentionally faked her own death to free Vi from imploding her own life to look after Jinx all the time. I think Jinx wants Vi to let her go and just go and be happy with Cait.

Ya Boy
>>156256081

I don't know how you caught that detail but kudos to you because that makes a whole lot of sense when you put the pieces together 👏

Leo
>>156256081

Also worth noting that the airship at the very end is the exact same airship that in episode one of season one powder says "one day i'm going to ride in one of those things", all signs point towards her being alive and just leaving to "break the cycle"

Juls

Not gonna lie, that is my favourite cover from you! Beautifully played!

Hori Zon

I have not moved on from ep 7. Their fight was already my favourite ep last season. Now they make me like romance and french music which I both hate

Cola

I think they tricked us with lots of things with the ending. They showed us all those dead bodies of minor characters mostly except Medarda while not showing us the champions bodies giving them a way out to bring them back later. I think Victor, Jayce, and Heimerdinger got teleported with the zap and survived. I also see a way for Isha to have survived. I question why they made her have a friendly relationship with the beast. She is the only one who formed a relationship with the beast and not Vander himself. She could've been injured when Vander seemed he was about to attack but actually shielded her. Afterwards no one looked for her since they were arrested right away. Also, they showed Vander losing his last bit of memories and becoming Warwick after that so he could've retained some memories during that event. As for Jinx, oh boy just too many things to mention... Even though it was supposed to be Warwick, he was holding onto Jinx without hurting her. Maybe because he would fall as well, but he didn't seem tobe intelligent honestly. What bothers me the most is, they never showed us how Eko convinced her not to kill herself. Maybe Isha showed up or something else but I doubt it's just a kiss when this Jinx did not develop such relationship with him. Jinx's tears as she falls could've been her goodbye to Vi. I don't know, but Eko should've convinced her not to want to die somehow by then. Sorry for rambling, but I see lots of unexplained decisions by the writers and well hidden clues or escape plots to bring those people back. I also agree that Jinx should die for what she did as some sort of a redemption sacrifice, but if they will do like an Avengers thing then they will need Jinx from this region and the sacrifice can happen later just like with Tony Stark (Ironman)?

Man, it really only hit me on rewatch with you guys, but the reason that was the only possible timeline was actually mentioned back in episode 7! Because it was specifically the acceleration rune, it let ekko reverse it for the time travel, which was the key. Really incredible and I didn't quite catch it at first. Really amazing show don't tell moment. If it was any other rune, they wouldn't be in that exact scenario to solve the problem. Crazy.

I think the parallel to the Jayce and Mel scene was in episode 7 when Ekko and Jinx were dancing and Jayce was going through hell lol.

But thats the thing Pilties dont have any right to be apprehensive. They are the oppression, all of zaun’s economic and socio issues are due to Piltovers hold over them. Yet this show does not show any of the piltover aggressors facing comeuppance like jinx has. Hell Zaunites even came to assist piltover in the fight when they had no reason to, and the only reason that enemy was even there was because of Piltover yet zaunities are helping clean the mess up. Them giving sevika a token seat doesnt absolve them of all the years of suffering they inflicted on Zaun. Caitlyn used chemical gas in zaun, arrested people wrongly for just being near jinx yet did she get a bad ending? No she didnt (and losing one eye doesnt count). NONE of the piltover occupiers faced any consequences for what they inflicted on zaun so this whole “breaking the cycle~” schtick falls flat when the only person who is facing any consequences for their crimes is the mentally ill girl who grew up under piltover’s rule and suffered more than any of those piltovers ever did. It reeks of white writers.

I am glad they didnt give us a "fariytale" ending, it just wouldnt have fit with the dark themes the show deals with, I agree it couldve used a bit more scenes but overall it was still great. Fyi. I am certain Jinx isnt dead, the gave many little teasers after her "death" with caits scenes not to mention the Airship and jinxes flashes at the end, it would be really odd for them to include that just to throw people off, I think its more about what Jinx told Vi in episode 8 about wanting her to be happy with cait, and knowing that with her in the picture that would be pretty much impossible. Ah well nvm. I wrote this before u came back, I guess a lot of people noticed, anyway, as I said before, I dont think its a theroy because it just wouldnt make scene to have it in here just for speculation. About ekko, there is no reason for him to know jinx is alive, same for Vi, its only cait who figured it out and I doubt she would tell her because that would ruin Vi again. Anyway I loved the show and season and I am quite sad its over but I am glad they didnt fuck it up :D

Really happy to hear other people say act 2 was their favourite. That was absolute peak for me the whole way through, S2 episode 5 is my absolute favourite episode of Arcane. I wish Isha got more of a shout-out in act 3, I think I would have been happier with her death that way but I feel like nobody mentions her by name again. That way she would feel more like her own character rather than a plot device but still loved every moment she was on screen. Overall very pleased and filled with excited trepidation for future animated League content. Going to be tough for them to retcon their whole bloody lore again though if they're only bringing more out every 3+ years.

loved being on this journey with you wince season 1! What an incredible experience. Overall i think season 1 feels more perfect and well rounded, but there were higher highs in season 2. My favorite scenes have to be the "Remember Me" scenes with Vanders memories. i could not stop the tears.

how is carlie so on point with the predictions today

I’m not one of those people who cope (I do think Isha, Jayce, and Viktor are dead) but jinx definitely isn’t dead. Cait looking at the ventilation system, the purple streak before the explosion, and the balloon flying away at the end She still can’t seem to die

Alexandre

I’ve cried every single time to this intro, Ange. Well done, you absolute legend! 😭👏 By the way, Christian Linke mentioned that certain scenes were meant to be longer but didn’t make the final cut due to age restrictions. 😏 Here’s hoping the Blu-Ray/DVD release includes them!

SPOILER : Adding to that, it’s unlikely Jinx died. The scene with Caitlyn examining the Hexgate blueprints and focusing on the vents where Jinx fell seems intentional. Caitlyn was probably questioning why all they found was a piece of the monkey bomb, but no body—not even a partial one. Then, it ends with an airship, something Powder always dreamed of piloting. It’s heavily implied she broke the cycle by faking her death and walking away from Piltover. It’s definitely open-ended, and I might just be running on pure copium here, but the signs seem too deliberate to ignore!

To add to the idea that Jinx is definitely not dead! The voice actress for Jinx, Ella Purnell was asked in an interview "Is Jinx actually dead?" And she gasps dramatically then answered “Ummmmm....We don’t know” and shrugged “We’re gonna leave that open to interpretation” She’s known for being terrible at keeping secrets and spoilers haha. It’s her basically hinting at the fact that Jinx isn’t dead lol. The way she answered the question was super suspicious haha which makes me believe she’s alive!

I just finished watching the show myself, it's 3:22am xD, gonna have to watch your reactions throughout tomorrow. Wow! What a show.

Ninjahaz 01

Not that I think Cait would have won against Ambessa at all, but she was also stabbed lol

Onur Cenk Ata

I really would love to see you react to Blood Sweat&Tears since you are done with the show. I think you already know but it's about Ambessa's past.

yougotjinxed

Caitlyn's look at the end before the scene switches to the airship. Vi basically tells her she'd stay with Caitlyn, but Cait looks anything but happy. Just realized that she could tell Vi about Jinx's potential survival, which would end their happy time immediatelly.

By Ambessa, the first time she got defeated. Thank God, because that stab wound was the only reason they won the second engagement. Well, technically, the amulet, but Cait opened up that opportunity.

Dude, the guitar segment on this one was marvelous. Brought a tear to my eye, well played!
