When the Airbenders were attacked in the sky while taking food to the state of Yi, I always got the impression that Kuvira was behind that ambush. I don't know if that is confirmed anywhere, though. But seeing as she had just recruited some bandits outside the state, she had the resources to stage it.

I liked how Korra didn't get into things right away after what happened last season. Healing isn't often linear, you can get better then relapse. And sometimes it never goes away, you just have more good days than bad days, but bad days are still there

I gotta say, the picture of adult Aang in the fisherman's hut might be my favorite part of the entire series. The fact that the facial expression is the exact same as when he was younger, and the fact that he also uses the exact same airbending trick to impress people after all these years really gets me. 1 photo shows so much character

yes, ange did come at kuvira in s3. 😆 she was around in the background a bit in s3 and was actually introduced out loud at the end of the season when she saved tonraq.

Pretty sure they're more akin to UN peacekeepers which is defined as "military/police/civilian personnel that work to maintain peace in countries affected by conflict." Mercenaries are more like give us money and we'll do the job which isn't at all what the airbenders are.

did you even pay attention to the show bro??? They aren't mercenaries lol. Their mission is very much in line with airbenders if you look up what philosophies and ideas airbenders are based in.
