Hey man, if I got to battle monsters, make a shit ton of money. Show off/build my giant OP shadow army and take minimal injuries? I’d love to do that too. That’s not even to mention being the only person capable of leveling up. It’s addicting just like real video games that solo leveling could be based on and that’s something I like about the show.

I find it a bit funny how much you dislike Choi (glasses guy) for, what I can see, no real reason. He isn't even overly cocky or disrespectful IMO. His reaction to Jinwoo wasn't malicious or out of cockiness, but surprise, since he doesn't often see that kind of casual rejection of an offer to join one of the most prestigious guilds, as well as him personally, as both the leader and incredibly well known S-rank. Maybe I am just not remembering, but I don't think I have ever seen him do anything bad per-se.

All the S-ranks I remember were in this episode, (probably spelling mistakes ahead) Jinwoo, Hwang Dongsoo (currently in the hospital), Guildmaster Choi, Cha Hae-in, Chairman Gunhee and President Baek. Maybe Jinwoo's dad, but we don't really know anything about him and episode 1 shows some more S-ranks, although it wasn't specified who exactly was S-rank when we met them. So anime watchers can be sure about atleast 6 maybe even know up to 10 with Jinwoo's dad and Byung-Gu and Eunseok from episode 1 and the person Guildmaster Choi lost on Jeju Island.

Loved this episode so much despite the lack of action (not counting the mini scene with Choi in the dungeon). So much plot progression which beautifully sets the stage for the next episode. I'm really enjoying this anime adaptation, I do think they're staying more true to the novel than the manhwa although they do make it a point to include as many key moments from the manhwa as possible. Can't wait for the reassessment results when Jinwoo will get his official S rank license. Also them ending this ep on a cliffhanger of Hae-in running into Jinwoo, argh they know how to keep us on our toes lmao! Really loved you guys' discussions in the end and how apt you're getting at reading Jinwoo's ambitions. I'm laughing at your dislike for Choi lmao he's really not that bad you guys xDD Super hyped for next week's episode!!
