Jiro's singing voice is Chrissy Costanza, she's an American singer who's the lead vocalist of Against the Current, they've done a bunch of stuff for League of Legends

Maya Coleman

I like the school festival arc and I know you guys will like it too and I was surprised that you guys like gentle criminal because alot of people hated him but I am glad that you guys like him 😊

Manu Spooner

Really enjoyed this mini arc personally

Aizensalami

Love Gentle Criminal 🤣. Fun fact, La Brava is not a kid, she's over 20, she's just short like Mineta and Gran Torino...

This arc is lowkey one of my favourites. It's the first time where the students can let loose and just be kids

Jay rellim

i loveeeee gentle criminal - i wonder if the elegant headmaster at anya's school was modeled after him

Meg

Y'all need to let Bakugo cook, my boy is crass but he speaks some good truths xDDD I agree with Mina for MVP. Though frankly I feel like Bakugo, Jiro and All Might were all good contenders for the spot lol. So excited for the school festival episode. I've been eager to see your reactions to it for a long time haha. Loved the Deku-All Might mini training scene as well, more progress with OFA! Can't wait for episode 20!

Omayma

I remember my first reaction to bakugo's speech I was so proud of him and was relieved he changed their reasoning for doing it . Peak character

When this arc first came out I hated it under the assumption it was filler, I dropped it just before this episode and said I'd continue when S5 came out, then ended up rewatching 1-4 with an ex and so on. I couldn't have been more wrong, Gentle Criminal is in the top 5 characters in the show for me and the self-contained arc is great, it's an amazing break after the constant violence the show has, especially after the first on-screen death we have seen! Looking forward to future eps~

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT watch the 2nd movie after Season 4, yes it released that way, but it contains spoilers as it takes place roughly after season 5, so to be safe just watch movie 2 and 3 after season 5

So, idk if the scene preceding Bakugo's pep talk which may have led to missing its intention was glossed over. If not, then disregard but just to clarify, 1-A at this point has been the inadvertent cause of negative outcomes for UA and most of the student body loathes them for that. It would come across as conceited if it seemed like 1-A was just trying to reconcile their reputation by trying to cheer everyone up when it was them that caused grief in the first place. Bakugo was just reinvigorating their perspective, as he said, its not like they asked for all this to happen. For him, the concert shouldn't be about reconciliation. This is for themselves and showing everyone what they can do. He, of all people, not only considered the feelings of the other course students but his own classmates as well

I disagree they should watch it when it came out. The way a lot of us did.

GummyCalico

you can never tell which direction bakugo is going with his speeches lol! not that he even shout more two sentences that often to begin with TT

yeah props to him there. even when he overheard the general studies kids, he didnt necessarily blame or hate them the way season 1 bakugo wouldve but actually see where theyre coming from

Agreed, although I think they took the suggestion of watching movie 1 earlier than it came out originally since it took place earlier on technically. So I think they will watch it after S5 hopefully

Tapuwanashe Makombe

You can watch the 2nd movie after end of season 4 as most of us had to but you can choose to watch it after 5x13

wrong...at most it takes place after 5x12 but I agree with the previous comment they should watch it after Season 4

Rob V.

Love this episode! Class A working together gets me really hyped for the festival! I agree with the MVP as well. Deku learning a new move too, let's go!

Kiribukai

“I’m rooting for this guy!” Y’ALL THAT MADE ME TEAR UP FOR REAL🥹 People always hate on this arc and Gentle , but this honestly is one of my favorite parts of the whole series! ❤️

Kiribukai

Also, I like to imagine when Horikoshi was writing this he was like “How can I make Bakugo even cooler? Oh, I know! He’s a drummer now!” 😆🤩

If it would be more enjoyable and result in less spoilers to do it at the right time then they should do that. Saying "they should do this because thats how we were all forced to" isn't a very nice way of looking at things.....

Yeah the reasoning of "that's how I watched it" doesn't make sense if there is a better way to do it.
