What a crazy episode with a amazing reaction This episode is so peak Endeavor is one of the greatest character in mha He is so well written and it’s just the beginning Is it the second movie next or the season 5 ?

Xaniss

this episode is what made Endeavor my fav character, and what follows solidifies it.

BOBOIBOY SUPRA ⭐

Finally, One of The Op Eps Of MHA Reaction Dropped 🔥✨

mohamed rafee

Icl ik THE ONE PIECE episode is dropping next, I think that episode is a top 10 episode in anime personally

Marco St

Can't wait for edited version

J-or-Dan

I think the best part of the episode was the endeavor fan who wasn't happy that endeavor tried to shake his hand immediately ran on camera and said don't count him out when the news castor started to get discouraged

Marcus Forsman

1 detail im not sure people notice, The Nomu asks ''Can you also regenerate''. As if it is smart enough to understand the limit of someone, There for thinking that Endeavor can regenerate. Cause aint no way in hell someone gets up after that beating. Makes you understand the willpower of Nr.1

GummyCalico

the writers knew what they were doing putting shoto scenes and hawks admirations for endeavor in there. extra extra gut punch for us watchers in case just him going plus ultra isnt enough

CastSenpai

People that hate on Season 4 really only do it because of the school festival arc, which was so good. Fair to say most of the criticism is strange. Season 5 does have some slightly more valid criticisms as far as animation goes for the second half, but it's still amazing. This episode is phenomenal, a top 3 episode for sure. My Hero is an S tier show no doubt about it.

Night Sterling

Todoroki storyline arguably the best part of MHA

Uuraami Chan

unpopular opinion but I actually love this episode more than the AllMight vs. All for One. And I really, REALLY loved that one.

Xaniss

Say goodbye to the Symbol of Peace. Say hello to the Flame of Hope.

CastSenpai

And as much as I love the dub, the sub just hits way harder on this episode. Endeavors voice actor gave me chills.

Gavin fox

It’s here 🔥

Phaerroh

The hate season 4 gets, mostly because of the school festival, is so unwarranted. So many great moments for character and overall plot development. The school festival especially is catching so much negative feedback, despite the significance it has for the characters not only in that moment but also down the line in the future.

Aizensalami

"I'M WATCHING IT AGAIN!"... That's what I say every other week about this episode since it got released 🔥🔥 Some people prefer other episodes in the show, there are other contenders, but this one is my absolute favorite. It's actually one of my favorite anime episodes ever! PURUSU URUTORAAA!🔥

지원

Peak

ShidoKusaki

I love how you both said all the reasons you liked the episode were the exact reasons I loved this episode. This is My favorite reactions to this episode.

Fated

this might be a little lengthy (it is) but I can also talk about this episode a lot lol Some blink and you'll miss it moments to show how even more badass the fight was: -When Endeavor realizes the building is gonna collapse he signals Hawks then slices the building into smaller pieces so Hawks' feathers can carry all the ruble and prevent it from falling on the people near them -At 16:50 when Endeavor yells out hawks you can see the flame on his side make an arrow shape directed UP to signal Hawks to bring him higher really just goes to show badass and professional the no.1 and 2 hero are to move in sync and with minimal direction from each other but still have incredible teamwork Then of course the theme of Endeavor proclaiming to 'Watch me' and so many people around him echoing that statement -We have the pink haired boy shouting at everyone to look -Hawks explaining how he has always watched him so he knows how endeavor has been the only one even attempting to catch up to all might -And of course shoto saying he's watching and just all the family and everyone else also all watching the no.1 hero :) just so so good Also really loved his monologue at the end about how he sees himself in the nomu. This nomu was especially obsessed about looking for the strongest and defeating it so it can be the only one standing... and as he sees that he realizes that for his own start he needs to literally and metaphorically kill it and what it represents. Then when he comments about hating the plus ultra slogan i couldn't help but laugh while there was tears in my eyes lol he can be so unintentionally funny too and okay last one maybe on endeavor stuff! but it also showed how his weakness is that he can overheat whenever he uses too much of his fire power which is the reason he created shoto so the ice can help balance everything. I really liked that scene and how it showed him in retrospect and just how everything came to be and yea parallels with the nomu again cool shout with the endeavor injury btw reflecting shotos hehe okay now lets move on to the after credits of course its nothing much to go off on but when I saw it the first time I remember getting goosebumps when the other people appeared and the music played it was so mysterious and idk it was just so interesting much mystery much theories also a quick refresher! this isn't a spoiler since everything was said in the season 2 ep where all might explained about one for all -All for one wanted his younger brother to submit to him -He thinks his brother is quirkless -So gives him a stockpiling quirk which to someone like his brother would be useless -Surprise his brother isnt quirkless and has the power to pass on quirks (which alone again is useless) -The two power merged into becoming what we know as One for all the end~ haha so i think this was enough of an essay maybe if I remember of some more stuff i really liked ill comment some more but for now as always really really enjoyed the video~~ To season 5 we go?

Aser Studios

So what's next for you guys? The 2nd My Hero Movie or Season 5?? I would recommend watching the second movie after 5x12 but It's up to you guys when you want to watch it as there is no set watch order for the second movie after you have finished Season 4.

Karumba

peak fight

Meg

Ange: the animation this episode is mint! Me: YOUR REACTIONS THIS EPISODE IS MINT!!! (I confess I had to watch the reaction twice because the first time I was hooked only watching Endeavor's fight again xDD) Ok, let's talk about Endeavor. The Todoroki subplot is hands down the best subplot in MHA (I'd even call it main plot part 2 with how integral it becomes to the overall story). Trying not to spoil too much here so I'll just say, we have only scratched the surface with Endeavor this episode, and from here on out is when the real story unfolds. At this point in the series we are meant to root for Endeavor and be in awe of him as a hero despite the reminder that he was abusive with his family. It also serves as a nice checkpoint for Endeavor the hero/man on a personal scale since the last (and first) time we saw him fight the Nomus he was still high up in his arrogant asshole persona. Yet another reason why I love this episode so much cos it's such a 180 from back then! Endeavor is one of my favourite written characters in MHA, easily a top 5 for me from the whole show (not in terms of favourite characters overall though, I like him as a hero but not as a person). The writing is just SO GOOD. What I love most is how we get Shoto's character development done in a beautiful as a sort of a byproduct (dunno if that's the right word) of how well Endeavor's character is written, because in the story Shoto is everything good and great that Endeavor himself failed to become. You get a glimpse of what Endeavor could have been by looking at Shoto's character and vice versa. It's just so beautifully done, ugh! Ok I'll stop there before I ramble into spoiler territory lmao. Speaking of beautiful writing, people who hate on S4 and S5 are the ones who want some badass fight scenes every other episode and don't care much for the actual plot because both seasons (S5 especially imo) are almost peak narrative wise. S4 is a great setup to the next season where the story really starts to pick up. I personally don't believe MHA has a weak season, I think every season serves an important purpose to push forward the story. Maybe there's a small portion of S5 that seems slow in comparison, which is expected given it was made during the pandemic if I remember right, but still important to the plot. I'm really glad you guys didn't let the naysayers stop you from enjoying S4 the way you did! There's so much to look forward to in the next season! Like oh man I'm already getting chills thinking about your reactions to some of the episodes lmao! What we got with Endeavor and his family is the tip of the iceberg this episode. A lot of stuff with Deku coming up as well! Btw don't worry about the scene at the end with Deku and OFA, you're meant to be confused rn, you'll get your answers soon. There's a LOT to unpack with OFA and we'll do it soon and it's going to be EPIC haha! Thank you for such a wonderful reaction you guys! Not sure if you'll be reacting to movie 2 after this or head straight to S5 (Hopefully movie 2 will be next :3) Either way I'm super excited for next week! (Sorry again for my long ass comment xDD)

Sperro

This episode has always been one of my favorites, but trust me: in my opinion it WILL be topped. Season 7 is one of the best season of anything I've ever seen. It had me crying multiple episodes in a row (which Carlie is already doing right now). Thanks for the amazing reaction and I look forward to all the next ones

Meg

Not me channeling my inner Rengoku and going "Set your heart ablaze" every time I rewatch this episode and Endeavor's plus ultra Prominence Burn because it is just so fitting!!!

Haha oh man, theres nothing worse than showing someone an episode of anime you love only for them to completely let you down with their reaction 😆

Marc Senécal

Long ass comments are perfectly fine but you should probably add paragraphs just to make it easier on the eyes/more digestible ^^ + people are much more likely to read the whole thing if its separated in paragraphs

FTN Chicken

Ange: "That's not being topped" Endeavor in future episodes: "Just watch me."

Trav

I think at this point I can safely say that Endeavor is my favorite character in the show. Ange, I'm not even exaggerating when I say that you're legitimately still at the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his depth and development. SO many moments in the next three seasons I can't wait to see you both react to!

Aizensalami

Set aside all the action and the emotions in the episode.... WE FINALLY HAVE A GOOD FEMALE JOURNALIST 🤣

Awesome reaction to an awesome episode!!! Please watch the second movie next, Its the best one!

Haha my bad, I did use shift+enters in between but I guess the spacing is not very clear still 😓

Sikk Karuzo

Love to see how much you both enjoyed this season and especially this Episode. I really like the Endeavor, Shoto and family side story, i think its well done. Cant wait to see what you think about Season 5.

Bailey Zito

Insanely peak definitely could say it’s best ep yet, but season 6 and especially 7 is gonna blow your mind

Ty MR

This is easily one of my favorite episodes of Mha. I really hope you guys react to the second movie next!

Ultimate Winner

What can I say? Endeavor is mvp for this episode. Hawks did a lot to support but Endy took his push and made it into a tackle. Ngl I think Hawks is mvp for the last episode. Then endeavor here. In the aftermath of last episode, he doesnt seems like it. But after this episode, it changed my whole idea about Hawks. He essentially goaded/trick Endeavor into becoming the leader they needed in hindsight and gave him the perfect speech into this episode and led him (even by accident) to Nomu. Endeavor took the push, but Hawks def pushed him to where he needed to be. I also like Hawks is prob the ultimate all-rounder. Kinda a hybrid of Lida, Ochaco, and Momo. He is not a no1 type of hero, but he can lead like momo/Lida, he is fast like Lida, and he is basically the rescue hero like Ochaco wants to be and he can fight as seen by how fast he beats the Beta Nomu that was beating up average heroes in S2. Both Endy and Hawks are prob in my top 5 char. I feel like its Aizawa, Hawk, Todoroki, Twice, and then Endeavor

4mation

Another point to consider: Endeavor repeatedly says the Nomu is “bio-engineered to have multiple Quirks” and “obsessed with strength.” Remember that Endeavor looked for Rei specifically so he could have a child with combined Quirks that let the child reach the full maximum of his firepower (effectively bioengineered Quirk eugenics).

HaSeul

I've been waiting for this reaction ever since you guys started MHA. I'm genuinely so happy you enjoyed it as much as you did. Endeavor is the goat, please keep watching him = )

lord aang

We have just got started with the Todorokis just you wait...

Danny C

The way this episode had me holding my breath when it came out 😭 Still a top 10 of the series for me, but season 6 and 7 have my top 3.

Danny C

Also, not sure if you caught it, Hawks and Gojo share a voice actor

EmJay

First time this aired, when the smoke cleared and Endeavor was standing there with his fist raised I literally jumped off my couch with a "HELL YEAH!!!!" I hadn't even realized I'd been holding my breath, which surprised me because I'd never had such a visceral response to an anime fight, regardless how epically scaled. Maybe it's because I'm older and a parent myself, but the Todoroki family storyline was always my favourite aspect of this whole series. I just find it a more realistic portrayal of how emotional and complicated such a dysfunctional family dynamic can be. There are no easy solutions. There is no "I'm sorry" and everyone's magically healed from their trauma. Endeavor abused his wife and kids. There's no sugar-coating that. They are rightfully still afraid of him, and the series doesn't give him a free pass on that. It holds him accountable and goes "Sometimes there's just no going back. Deal with it.". He himself is committed to doing/being better now, regardless whether it'll ever absolve him or win back his family, because right now that's all he can do. He is ashamed of who he used to be, and how he hurt his family. He knows he can't be forgiven, but he can still be BETTER (as a father/hero/person) than his past self. The following seasons explore more of the Todoroki family and it's so fascinating!

Tyler Owens

If you love the Endeavor arc then you are in for a treat in season 6/7. Probably my favorite storyline in the show.

Tyler Owens

No Deku vs Bakugo Part 2 mention!?? One of my favorite fights alongside this one but I feel it gets often overlooked!

wicecakes

The fact that Bones made a movie on top of a 25 episode banger of a season is mindblowing to me. Absolute cinema

Tom

I absolutely LOVE this episode. Easily one of my favorites. But to say it won't be topped. Trust me - that's going to be debatable. Can't wait to keep watching along!

# vivi

EXACTLYYYY Y'ALL GET IT!!! s4 slander is unacceptable for me 😤

Maryam186

I can proudly say that Endeavor is my favorite character 🔥

Mango

They really teasing us with Endeavors death twice in this episode. I think Ange would have stopped filming if Endeavor was killed here XD

Sacha
>>164480133

I don’t think that was purposely done as when they watched it it was their favourite episode. Just blame the hype of this one that their brains were a lil fried 😆

Jamel Cornish

Ok now y’all do we want them to watch the best my hero movie or straight into season 5?

PeachBrune

Still one of my favorite episodes

Tyler Owens
>>164480133

Yeah I know, just trying to give them a hard time, definitely just an oversight because of so many good fights.

Sanji Sama

Seeing Aizawa come running worried about Todoroki was so adorable.

ImZeaT

I mean it's a good episode, and everybody's got their own opinions, but considering what you've watched, calling it a 'top 10 anime episode' should be considered a hate crime... 😭 Love y'all! 😂

A1Assi

Endeavors...The Vegeta who was allowed to be #1 . This Ep is hands down in my top 3 of all time

Colin
>>164489716

I want them to watch the movie in timeline order to avoid spoilers. Watching the movie in release order goes against the essence of being a (hero) reaction channel. Reminder that the when the movie was release in Japan is was in line with the manga's timeline, not the anime's. I remember back then all the MHA subreddit posts warning anime onlys NOT TO WATCH THE MOVIE YET. We should not encourage them to compromise the quality of their season 5 reactions. I will die on this hill.

SirGeel

Season 4 did not suck at alll idk what people are smoking, gentle criminal arc is a little slow but i still enjoyed and endeavor vs nomu was just amazing.. season 5 sucks for me but the next movie is AMAZING

Chimpman

I'm so glad I called this shot back in like 2x10. I just knew Ange would love Endeavor as a character so much. Endeavor is easily my favorite character in this show. How insanely flawed he is, but also recognizing those dark, dark flaws inside of himself and learning to overcome them is my favorite aspect of this series. Endeavor is someone who let his obsessiveness and drive take over him and he made horrible decisions that led to the destruction of his family. Horikoshi really struck gold when writing this character, I think. Him seeing himself in the Nomu is my favorite part of the episode, by far. Because it really is what he was, boiled down to it's core. He was obsessed with strength to the point of destroying everything. Endeavor will continue to be the best part of the show for yall, I can already see it.

Chimpman

DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIE YET. It doesn't take place until AFTER season 5 ends. Some people don't get that it's a massive spoiler and it was in line with where the manga was at the point it released, not the anime. Just wait. Just wanted to add to the people saying this so it doesn't get missed.

joseph downey

While the animation takes a step back in the next 2 seasons (covid) there are still plenty of peak moments, I am excited for you guys to see them.

Krokus

Depending on how you feel about focus on certain other characters, this episode might be topped in *Season 5*. I am an advocate for season 5, sure it is a bit slower paced, but for character growth, world building and a few unbelievable moments I say it is still a very good season overall. It just gets overshadowed by the greatness of the other seasons.

LookingForOwls

Yea the s4 haters were full of BS, and the same holds true for the s5 haters. S5 has one of my favorite arcs in the whole show.

Aser Studios
>>164501959

I think i know what you're talking about. Sure the animation might have been the weakest for such an important arc but the narrative more then makes up for it. I think they'll enjoy season 5 since they seem to like the slice of life aspects.

LookingForOwls
>>164501959

The final arc of the season is the one I'm referring to. Is the animation considered weak for it? I hadn't noticed.

Decaf

I didn’t fully understand why his hero name was Endeavor til this episode. Good for him.

Frieren

Yeahh season 5 is the lowercase Peak before the actual PEAK/Epitome of what this show offers!. Can’t wait for yall to dive back innn 🙂‍↕️

Carbon
>>164479676

Yes! "Keeping Up with the Todorokis" is one of my favorite parts of the series as well.

Rob V.

That fight was definitely rollercoaster of emotions for you guys! SO EPIC! I can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of the series. With how wholesome this last half of the season was, remember we can get just as dark too. The villians are lurking!

Cornelius Ukena

this ep is absolutely goated. and yes, people that say this season (or next season) aren’t good are just insane. though, season 6 is just pure hype. 🙃 my absolute favorite part of this episode is how they capture all of the intense, complex, and even paradoxical emotions that the todoroki family is experiencing during the fight. watching a man that has objectively treated them all horrifically being cheered on by the public who has no clue what kind of man he really is and having to confront that it’s still right for them to do so. that he is that horrible person and also a real hero AND they’re father and husband who, no matter what, they can’t help but still have love for and not want to see him die. the way we see shoto standing there stunned as he wrestles with these feelings and finally resolving to seek reconciliation with his dad in spirit by honoring endeavors request to watch him. ugh, it’s just all so good.

Tom

Literally rewatching this. Endeavor's fist really makes you clap lmao

Sammie

''Top 10 anime episode. Fight me'' just facts.. can't argue with that🙂‍↔️

지원

peak over peak

tanasia

and it gets better

Naqib _
>>164501959

@LookingForOwls It's weak compared to what was coming out at the time. Not bad by any means, but Demon Slayer and JJK increased everyone's expectations a lot. One Piece also suddenly started improving its animation around this time. It's unfortunate for MHA, they were still animating like it was the early 2010s, so it looked unimpressive by comparison.

Naqib _
>>164495890

nah he's got a right to have this take. it's totally respectable. he didn't say top 1

Naqib _

It's really cathartic to hear all the people saying season 4 sucked were full of shit haha. I actually think season 4 is better than seasons 2 and 3. In the grand scheme of all the hype moments in MHA, the first Deku v Shoto fight wasn't all that hype imo. And in season 3 All Might v AFO happened a little too early in the story imo which made it feel a bit anticlimactic to me. This fight however was perfect for this point in the story. It's high stakes but it doesn't spoil the momentum for the rest of the story. Instead it actually sets up for future arcs. I am curious to hear your thoughts on season 5. I actually think it is more similar to seasons 2 and 3, and I think 4 is better than them all. But that's a personal take. Looking forward to your thoughts

Aser Studios
>>164501959

To be fair, it seems the later half of season 5 and first half of season 6 was around covid so some episodes looked bland and weak in animation and style.

Mob
>>164501959

Nah season 5 does suck. You can’t look at me with a straight face and tell me the majority of people don’t have it as the worst season out of all of BNHA. It doesn’t have better emotional beats, story, character building (for the ones we care about), or even animation than any of the other seasons.

Andres Urquijo
>>164527139

Me too haha. Deku vs Shoto was a really good fight. I think this anime has really hype moments in general. I believe it is one of those cases where it suffered a lot from being a weekly episode. The slower parts turned a lot of people off. But if you binge it, the peaks work so much better.

Yam

PEAK!

Naqib _
>>164527139

I mean, personally I was hoping for a lot more build up with Shoto before he finally decided to use his fire in a much more serious moment. The school tournament was a little low stakes for that to happen. Not saying you are wrong for liking it, but it's less hype to me than the life or death villain fights: All Might v Nomu, All Might v AFO and this one Endeaour v High end

Prateek Sridhar

I absolutely agree, this is the one of the freaking best episodes of MHA. I use the music from this as workout music too sometimes xD Endeavor is sick in this episode :p

Carlie & Ange
>>164495890

We actually went through it off camera and If we dont include my beloved DBZ, its in the top 10 I think 😆 Based on all the series we have watched on the channel!

Jaziel

Season four is peak for me… Never got to hate. The season is full of payoffs. Season five is slower, but it does set up a lot of things for later seasons. I do think you guys will enjoy it because it’s full of story developing different characters.

Yaya

I don't care what anyone says, this season is PEAK! (can't wait for season 6/7) Also please watch the second movie AFTER season 5, it contains massive spoiler.

Gavin fox

More like you say run 🏃 when you guys get excited

Jamie

I absolutely love this episode! Everything about it is executed perfectly and is such an integral part of the Todoroki storyline which is arguably the best storyline of the series. Prediction that there is at least one episode (one in particular I have in mind from season 7) that tops this episode for you. So glad you both enjoyed this season so much and can't wait for what's next one!

lord aang
>>164500811

No, it was released before Season 5 you just want to be an absolute downer

AngelFr0m Sky

So for me this episode and all the season its my favorite alongside season 7, idk why the people they didnt like the part of gentle and the festival, when its necessary for the develop of the history, and some characters and give a breathe after the epic fights, this episode and all the meaning, the animation, the parallels and of course this insane soundtrack of endeavor. it makes one of the best episodes of my hero. For me endeavor and his family its the best plot of all the series and always make you so emotional and i always cry when i see them. Love the reaction guys and love you both. Cant wait the reaction of the nexts seasons and if u think this episode its the best of all the series, u will be suprised that even more episodes can be more PEAK than this one.

Raging He

I found that the people who doesnt like the series are typically ones who doesn't have the patience for build ups, doesn't like superhero stuff or have a preconception on MHA. either way, their opinions worth as much as a fart in the wind.

Chimpman
>>164500811

I know it was released before season 5, doofus. I'm saying it takes place after season 5 in canon. Read my comment next time before you say shit.

RoZiiii

chills everytime

angelalala

One of my fav. eps of MHA. The music and animation were peak, and the characterization of Endeavor was top notch.MHA is probably the only shounen title that has multiple fights that manage to make me tear up. Endeavor sees a bit of the monster in himself in the Nomu--hungry to prove its strength and its collection of multiple quirks ( Endeavor's whole purpose of having a quirk marriage was to create a baby with multiple quirks that will overcome his own shortcoming of not being able to physically withstand overheating). If All Might is the Superman of this verse, Endeavor might be the Batman, less-celebrated and not as physically powerful. This is the ep where we learn that Hawks has always been an Endeavor fanboy at heart ever since he's little xD, baby Hawks' cuteness always gets me.

The Great Santini

Of course, this episode is one of the mountain peaks of MHA. Glad you enjoyed it. It's hard to believe at this point but... there's more to come. Never thought I would say this but... I can't wait to see you guys react to season 5. It's my least favorite and I 100% stand by it having issues but there are some gems in there as well.

The Great Santini
>>164527139

Disparaging Deku vs Shoto and Allmight vs AFO is kinda crazy. Allmight's retirement happened at the PERFECT time. Also, this moment wouldn't have had the power it did had we not experienced both moments you brought up so that's kinda funny.

The Great Santini
>>164518283

S5 is disliked because of the pacing. The actual events are cool. They just didn't allocate enough time to the important things.

The Great Santini
>>164501959

I wouldn't say it "sucks" I'd just say it's way lower quality than the rest of MHA. If S5 had the same story beats but with consistently good animation? It would be a little closer to the rest of MHA.

The Great Santini
>>164500811

Yup. I saw it in theaters in America and it certainly spoiled one big thing about one main character lol.

The Great Santini
>>164498154

Yeah I think people mistakenly join S4 with S5. S5 is legitimately full of problems -- but still enjoyable if you like MHA.

Naqib _
>>164527139

@The Great Santini “Disparaging” is a very uncharitable read of what I said. Deku v Shoto is objectively the lowest stakes fight of the big fights until now, so understandably I rate it the lowest. As for All Might v AFO, agree to disagree I guess. I don’t know when it should have been but it definitely felt too early for me. AFO had barely any time to build up, and All Might’s also had to retire too early. I think it would have been possible to start developing Endevour before All Might’s retired. His growth doesn’t have to be tied to All Might’s retirement

The Great Santini
>>164463605

this was only my second time watching this episode. After seeing it again, I can't agree. But I can at least say it's a damn good episode. To me, All-Might is just one of the best anime/manga characters ever created. He touches my heart like not many can. So of course him vs AFO is one of my favorite moments ever.

Raging He

Can't wait for the second movie. That's a banger

The build up to this episode is what makes it so good. And then ending it the same way all might dead when he took down all for one with the fist in the air. chefs kiss

“ 🔥🔥🔥…😮 *gasping for air* .. CARLIE SWITCH IT OFF!!” 😂😂😂 This is peak reaction 😂 and that why it’s so amazing, comforting and entertaining rewatching shows again with you guys. Thank you for making my day and many of my days ☀️ Kind regards from Sweden

I love Hawks ❤️ he's just so cool, so fun, so caring and always knows what needs to happen next :)

Also the pink-haired boy facing the camera and people around him, telling everyone to LOOK at Endeavor as well :)

ahh, i see what you’re saying. i think the stakes are intentional given how strictly the story is told from the perspective of the kids. the whole point is that the world they’re preparing for isn’t the world that will exist when they’re finally in a position to participate in it. the goal post is constantly moving at the same pace they grow. in some ways, the stakes of the tournament do reflect the stakes of the world more broadly due to the era of peace they’re living in. not only that, but for the kids this is the highest stakes moment they’ve ever participated in which is why deku literally mutilates his own body to (try to) win. and while the adults say with their words that he shouldn’t do that, he is only rewarded for this behavior in practice as the teachers know what can be asked of them even as they scramble to understand the quickly shifting landscape. idk, this idea of kids being sold a false picture of the world they’re preparing for is something i think this show does a great job of and i see it here. but also understand that, given the hype of the moment, it feels a little out of place in such a controlled setting.

Majesti

Having watched everything so far I'd say it's not definitive whatsoever that this episode gets topped, it's in the discussion for best episode of the series, at the very least top 3.

Marley

natsuo the goat B)

Bryce Jones

I just laugh when people try to pretend that MHA falls off. This show always rewards the audience who stuck around since the beginning.

Natsuo Todoroki

Honestly, I still hate Endeavor after this. Soul searching and understanding that he was wrong is one thing, but actually making reparations and learning to do better is something else entirely. I kinda hope he does, but if that happens, he's gonna have to do a LOT more than just have an internal monologue and fight a villain. For what it's worth though, this was a cool fight

fawaz

idk if someone already commented this, but the kid is natsu reference from fairy tail. pink hair + the scarf. also being the flame hero fan lol

The emotional weight this episode carries! You can feel it from all the characters, and Shoto’s relief at the end. Incredible 100/10 episode. The ost Kimi No Chikara is such a hype ost, used for the Todoroki family. Gives me chills every time!

raikirrii .

always loved the fact that Endeavour is Hawks' All Might. Hawks saw what he was trying to do/become, and admired him the way everyone else admired All Might

I could lift a car! 🤣
