Honestly love you guys always make me laugh 🙂‍↔️

CastSenpai

Mark my words, Monoma will have an MVP by the time you are done with the series

Kaycee

Carlie all might is like 50 😆

Mark Drumheller III

I just Can't Hate Monoma man, his confidence is infectious, LMAO

Aizensalami

I like Shinso! He has a nice calm character. I actually think he deserves MVP. He had a great speech, and he did well to brainwash the beast, but Aizawa was good as well... It's close 😆 By the way, I saw Ange listed Shinso among the very few characters he likes from 1B, but Shinso is not from 1B... :) He's is from the Normal Course. In UA, there are different courses: 1-Hero Course (like Class 1A, 1B, Mirio, etc.) Only the guys who passed the entry exam against the robots in the beginning of S1 could enter this Course. Obviously Shinso didn't, because one cannot brainwash robots... When Aizawa saw Shinso compete well during the school festival he complained about the entry exam and how unfair it was to Shinso. He had his eye on the kid all along XD 2-Support Course (like Hatsume Mei) 3-Business Course (we saw few of them mumbling in the crowd during the school festival...) 4-Normal Course (like Shinso). These guys are not trained to become heroes, but now Aizawa said in this episode that Shinso wants to switch to the Hero Course. That's why he said that he's many steps behind and needs to catch up :)

Maya Coleman

Ange you are being a little mean to monoma I get he is annoying but you have to give his character a chance and also my boy shinso did deserve a round of applause don't hate ange my boy has been working hard

Bell Arclide

All Might is in his mid 50's maybe a bit older.

ademawithluv

Monoma is in my top 3 after Hawks and Deku😭 always like them a lil crazy

Meg

Carlie simping over Aizawa is both hilarious and highly relatable xDD Can't wait for Ange to eat his words and regret picking Mineta over Monoma hahaha >:D (jk jk lol but don't dismiss Monoma just yet) Omg the discussion about the OFA users had be CACKLING xDDDDD Ange your enthusiasm about your theory is making it very hard to burst your bubble LMAO (hint: All Might was the previous user of OFA right before he gave it to Deku and AFO's brother, who was also the first user called Deku the "ninth" user so putting two and two together....) I'm sorry, I don't mean to tease but this was just so much fun haha xDDD Truly enjoying your wild theories btw, please don't ever stop!

I love Monoma from the beginning haha he's too funny and cool, his quirk has also a lot of potential. But I get that he can be obnoxious sometimes haha

J-or-Dan

Shinso deserves it because how much courage and work it takes to step up and try to transfer

Caamm

Mineta over Monoma??? Ange we don't wanna see you trying to gas The Phantom Thief up later down the line. You chose a side lol

Ultimate Winner

I love Monoma way more than Mineta. Pervert gag is way worse than being competitive. Monoma also has a way cooler quirk/design than Mineta.

sumi

Damn y'all being mean to class-B

tijan barry

The look to Carlie as she reacts to monoma being strangled 🥴👀

V STAN

Noice!!!

Phoenix

Can't wait for your reaction to the final match up! Izuku's team versus Monoma's team! Now you know how cool Shinso's quirk is, the fact he and Monoma will be on the same team and fighting against Izuku..! So exciting 🙌

Phoenix

LOL, Aizawa deserves MVP every episode. He's my MVP even when he's not in the episode 😂❤️

Phoenix

Monoma is THE BEST 😆

Phoenix

Remember that All Might was able to use One For All at 100% straight away, guys! Whereas Izuku couldn't, it was too powerful and broke his bones! This is where the "quirk singularity doomsday theory" that they were talking about could be an example - that quirks become stronger with each generation, to the point they might not be able to control them. Like you said, Izuku is the 9th. All Might was the 8th. And the quirk itself is one that stocks the power each user cultivated!

Phoenix

I really like the several theories discussed from 23:50 to 24:35 😂 you guys are definitely "onto something" there, not quite right but not wrong either lol

Maxime Goettelmann

I cant stand this Monoma hate. Respect the GOAT. He's the MC in his head, and that's all that counts :D

joseph downey

Just keep an open mind on Monoma, that's all I can say spoiler free.

Eric H
>>165383599

I think it's interesting that One for All parallels the quirk singularity doomsday theory, considering the theory is talking about genetics mixing each generation to produce more powerful quirks, whereas One for All is the only quirk (except All for One) that is actually the same quirk as it was generations ago, just constantly getting stronger. It's like the one exception to the theory, and yet it seems like it mirrors it.

Eric H
>>165368215

I think any theory the come up with shouldn't be hinted as being right or wrong because they still don't know yet...

Eric H
>>165366629

So far the absolute only thing Monoma's done is rag on Class 1A. Ange said he'll keep an open mind about him and give him props when he deserves it, but honestly his reaction so far makes sense.

tanasia

hop off monogoat

Phoenix
>>165383599

I know, that's exactly what I was thinking! This lore is so cool lol, it's brings so much more depth to the general complexity of One For All and All For One quirks

Moody

“Hit em with the grape rush” is killing me 😂

Void The Rose

People would say this arc is terrible but me and the 5 other class B fans will be having the time of our life 😋 also kinda hurt my heart when you said Monoma has no redeeming qualities when he got mvp during season 2 asdjksjfsk (i know its all in good fun and isnt that deep) If you actually think about it Monoma is just Bakugo but in a different font lol he's a little shit but is also pretty driven and yea all you've seen is his stupid gag character but I hope you still keep an open mind on him as you have with other even more polarizing characters~

FGK

Monoma's one of the GOATS. And I bet you guys will think that he should have his own statue by the end of this show.

Bell Arclide
>>165367289

The official wiki says 55-60. The only place I see 49 listed is in Google's AI response. Either way his exact age is unknown so there is no way to tell for sure.

Carlie & Ange
>>165366629

Im just judging Monoma off what ive seen so far. In 5 seasons, all he has done is annoy me and the other characters 😆 As for Shinso, i really like him! I thought i made that pretty clear in the reaction

wicecakes

Ange gettin cooked 😆 lol just let them watch. Its unfair to judge their opinion of Monoma based on what we've lived with for years, and it gives them the implication that something will happen; maybe ruining the reaction. Monoma at this point is only expected to be annoying (and funny)

Ura Meshi
>>165430244

overhype comments like this are exactly what make people (consciously or unconcsiously) dislike a character, it is also spoilery

Ura Meshi

the monoma comments are honestly so annoying, not to mention borderline spoilery

FGK
>>165460286

Then ignore/don't read them ☺️ They're not for you anyway but for C&A.

So that talk about Midnight and All Might? Midnight is 32, All Might is around 55-60, BIG age gap-- All Might really doesn't look that old, but Gran Torino is only roughly about a decade older than him. The youngest in the staff are Vlad, Aizawa and Mic, who are both 31 (and the same age and Tenya's brother for referance). Vlad (the Class B teacher) is just slightly the youngest (like he and Aizawa were born like one or two days apart) and Mic is considerable older (his birthday is I think in June-time, while Aizawa and Vlad are both November babies. On another note, you were spot on with the backstory. The first user had a quirk, but it was just a unique quirk that let him pass it on to others, but was useless. Until All for One gave him One for All, since that quirk is a stockpiling quirk, when passed on, it gives the new user the strength of the previous person (hence why Deku struggled with it and kept breaking his bones). One thing you did miss is that the black haired woman is Nana Shimura-- in that big All Might Vs All for One episode in Season Three, AFO taunts All Might about Tomura being her grandson. This is the first proper look we're getting of her, but I thought I'd remind you of their connection now this part of the Anime happens ^-^ As for MVP for this episode, I think it should be Aizawa. As much as I love Shinso, he'll have his moments, BUT the only reason Shinso is even there is because of Aizawa; he's been training him in secret ever since the Sports Fest (through the final exam, through the training arc, kamino, all that drama with Chisaki and Eri, he's always come back to help him). Shinso is even using his binding cloth! Aizawa is working so hard to help him and get him into the hero course. And off the back of that: remember that whereas all the teachers know Mini Might is All Might (even before his retirement), only Recovery Girl and Nezu know about One for All-- that's why All Might was freaking out, because Aizawa knows something's up between him and Deku (because both he and Shinso have a mental quirk, he's training Shinso how to fight in a way he can keep a distance because their quirks are similar). Aizawa ain't no fool, he knows something is up-- personally I just don't think he likes being lied to or people going behind his back, especially as Deku's teacher, which is why he was so intently staring at them XD

Waver
>>165464326

AfO didn't give his brother OfA. He gave him a stock-piling quirk, That mixed with his own hidden quirk turned into OfA.

Rengoku_Rei
>>165424171

Oh lord I love that! 'Monoma is just Bakugo in a different font' is exactly how I would describe him! And I haven't commented on this before, but I really don't know why people don't like S5? I guess its for the same reason they don't like Hashira Training, because it's a slower season that sets up what's to come, but it's also necessary, y'know?

Rengoku_Rei
>>165464326

That's what I meant! One for All didn't become One for All until it was passed to the second user in a way, but I'm saying the first user had the 'passing on' quirk and AFO gave him the stockpiling part that gave OfA it's power. Because quirks are largely genetic and it makes more sense for the brothers to have the similar quirk, rather than one having two of essentially the same one, and the other having a stockpiling one. Remember, Carlie and Ange aren't going to be looking through every page of the manga and have seen further explanations, I'm not trying to overwhelm them or other people who haven't consumed everything with multiple terms, hence why I kept it simple as I was essentially saying: hey, you guys are right! Way to go ^-^ without spoiling anything for them or anyone else

Luis Bandelow

I think its sad that season 5 covers another "School training arc" after showing what MHA can do in terms of story telling and peak moments, its definitely the "weakest" arc of mha... BUT that beeing said, it only gets crazy good from now on and the second half of season 5 has my all time fav episdoes of the show. Stay tuned :)

GummyCalico

Jeez we’ve got a lot of monoma hype mans in the comments

GummyCalico

You guys’ faces when they reveal the voice changing mask hahaha nice

Rengoku_Rei
>>165464326

Haha, yeah! I'm a fanfiction writer, and using the ages of Aizawa, Tomura and Kurogiri, worked out how old All Might and Gran Torino would be because I wanted him to have history with Kurogiri, but wanted an accurate timeline considering their backstories. I also like the headcanon that Vlad, Aizawa, Mic, Tensei, Midnight and the third of the rooftop trio all went to school together (and the Hero Killer, but that's my own HC, haven't seen it in anywhere else as of right now). I just like being accurate, and use age and height has descriptors a lot of the time (like Deku in ep 3 of s 1 XD) Actually... just consider me Deku-- I do that mutter thing sometimes XD

Rob V.

Never thought I'd hear those words... LETS GO MINETA!! 🍇🍇🍇🤣🤣🤣

Rob V.

I'm glad everyone is hyped for their reactions to all these awesome characters, but let's not spoil anything for them please.

Xaniss

FYI All might is in his late 50s.

Marley

shinso's really cool :)
