Just to warn you guys, Episode 5x16 is a filler episode.. I'd heavily recommend watching until 5x19 next week as a new arc starts at 5x20. It's up to you guys if you want to skip the filler or watch it along with the third movie (maybe).

Nah - it’s filler in the same way the sue work-study is, in season 2, (they loved that) It’s built to add and is on topic. All the episodes that are supposed to have classic filler structure were made into OVA’s, - not a big issue.

Well i'am not entirely saying that they should skip it. I just think it would fit to watch until 5x19 next week as the next episode after that starts a new arc. But this is up to them of course.

Ah, I can see that - so they can finish the arc in 1 set, it’s certainly an option, up to them. It would be smoother but it wouldn’t make that much difference. If anything moving it will be a huge jarring tone shift before the last arc tho and there would be less complications if they just keep it as is.

This is one of my top favourite arcs of the show overall, one of top three I'd say. This arc also has my favourite MHA opening. Very excited to hear Ange's cover to it!

Like I said before, Endeavor really excels in the world of hero work and fighting. When Fuyumi was talking about how stubborn he is, I guess this is what she meant. His job and unrealistic goal are really the only places where he never gives up and has the most understanding. He may have given up on his family super easily, but he’s definitely not the type to give up on himself or his ability. And that really shows in how he teaches.

One of my favourite things about this show is watching the villains grow with the heroes! It's such a unique perspective rather than getting a super OP villain right from the start that the MC(s) need to catch up too. You still have All For One as that OP figure but Shiggy and the League really are the central focus as villains so it's really cool to grow with them throughout the show while also growing with our heroes. Horokoshi's character writing is probably one of the best aspects of the story!

I CANT WAIT!!!!, from here until the end of season 7, there will be only banger after banger episodes.

This next arc is so good! I love how it can get very serious as well. They give us wholesome moments but keep that worry in the back of our minds at the same time. This is gonna be a fun watch!

I like how Endeavor and All Might contrast in ways that make sense. It's repeatedly shown to us that All Might was just a naturally incredible at being a hero. He's the exception, like Endeavor said. Because he was so naturally gifted, he didn't go through serious struggles in learning how to be a top pro. All Might's advice to Deku regularly amounts to "idk I just could always do it without trying so do that." Endeavor had to figure all this stuff out and he knows how to lead someone down the right path because he's had to do this work already.

I loved how Endeavor recognized that despite Deku had similar powers to All Might, he is part of the group (like Endeavor himself) that has to constantly work to get better. The reason why Shoto isn't able to use as much precision with his flames (unlike w/ his ice) is because he was determinedly against using them until the Sports Festival arc, so he's had less practice with them. Poor Endeavor thought his son was opening up to him by doing the work study, but it's gonna take time.

Tbf idk what Endeavor expected. Like, Shoto placed those boundaries for a reason.

Well, All Might wasn't naturally talented or gifted. He was born quirkless and had to work supremely hard, much like Endeavor.
