Matthew Hunt Davies

That was probably my least favourite part of the entire show. Even when watching reactions, I have to skip over it each time.

지원

lmao

KT

episode 9 is where the plot and characters really build up

Alisher

The main plot of MT is just living life. It's not about about becoming a pirate king, or No.1 hero or all that, Rudeus just wants to live a life without regrets, that's the main plot. Mushoku Tensei is more of a digital autobiography and slice of life

Alisher

his water magic is at Saint level and his earth/water/fire magic are at advanced ( 1 tier below ), but it doesn't mean that water is his main attack magic type. He learned Saint tier water magic only because Roxy only taught him that. He uses earth magic for figurines and such majority of his time so his proficiency with it is the highest right now. The Cumulonimbus spell (his saint tier spell) is a large aoe spell that makes a big storm so that's not really good in fights, especially when they are in a town

FTN Chicken

It’s rare to wish that an anime adaptation was a little less faithful to its original source material, but here we are

lol ive not seen this and probs wont, i just find it funny how there's at least one comment (almost) each reaction so far saying "ok this is really really bad/hard to watch but i swear it'll get better" 😭😭🤣🤣

"just remember this person is not good!!! they're just living a life. it's realistic that they're a scumbag i promise" lol like even if it's true, the reminder (almost) EACH episode kills me hahah im sure they get it by now and will see the show through

Night Sterling

Its episodes like this that im glad i have a bad memory 😅

Thank you. They acted like all the haters were just making up how bad it was. It's genuinely awful and disgusting.

Cole Knight

Well if you survived this episode, there's a good chance you'll make it to the start of some of Rudy's desperately needed redemption. I do feel like his behavior is realistic, given the intensity of the isolation he experienced in his past life, but the barn scene is absolutely one of the more disgusting moments in this show.

Night Sterling

You know it just clicked for me now that the merchant was selling that sorta thing to a kid because he knew he was from the lords manor and the people there probably have a reputation

tracee miasco

yea this is an all time low for Rudeus he deserves to get locked up in jail.

just dont watch it lol. I dont like the MC either for his actions but I still watch it because of other aspects of the show

Night Sterling

Pretty sure no one was denying that there are some genuinely awful and disgusting things that happen, they just say to watch it anyway cause the rest is great

Aaron Griffin

Two episodes per week means next week will be hype as hell. Turning Point 1, folks

Orion

This comment section really reinforces my belief that nobody here has ever read a book before. Even more modern literature like 1Q84 or Normal People deal with substantially darker subject matter. It makes you uncomfortable because it's supposed to make you uncomfortable, which is probably why it's not the best fodder for family friendly reaction channels. Maybe some people just need to grow up and realise that depictions of immoral behaviour are not endorsements of immoral behaviour.

Aaron Wright

Having his internal mind voice be an adult voice was definitely...a choice. People would have so much less issue with the show if they'd made his internal voice young sounding as well. That's never anything you have when reading the books

Alisher

his internal voice being his past self literally has it's significance in the story(of how he views himself) . Making the story worse because some p*ssies can't handle it is crazy

Alisher

when C&A start uploading MT on youtube there will be a lot more levelheaded people in here, most of the patrons right now watch only shonen so this is not surprising

The Great Santini

This is the hardest episode to watch, if I remember right. Take that for what it's worth. Edit: Actually, there is probably one more scene that you'll turn away for. After that, it's all good.

AngelFr0m Sky

I cant wait to get the next two episodes!!!!. And after that u guys are going to love so much more the show.

Shota Tsunamura

Yes right now his impulse control is being more a less driven by that child brain. Like all of us as we get older we have a better grip on containing ourselves…. Unless you’re midnight from my hero.. It’s nice to see he still keeps up writing on Kanji for personal notes, may be useful having a language only he knows. I’m pretty sure that guy at the stall after being confirm, Rudy comes from the manner, took him for a Grayrat and not just a servant, dude, the coat he mentioned. And thus knew even at this young age the aphrodisiac would interest him… the Grayrat family has a reputation for their sex drive even at young ages amongst the males. Super cute that Rudy still needs to be picked up to reach top shelves, sigh even in anime time is everyone’s enemy. Yah maybe going to school at least for history would have benefited him. He didn’t even know what year of the calendar it was. Also it’s lapis like the Gem. Mind the brain Not much did this episode. Though I have been told in the Manga the crying was real, he ment to talk to Galane but soon as he opened his mouth, he started crying, and he monologue that he couldn’t stop or know why he started crying to her. Age counter Rudy is still 7 and Eris 9 years old respectively from what I can tell only a couple of mouths have pass, he got to the end of mid of summer, witch seams to be his birth season, and now with leaf it’s fall. Keep in mind this is just observatory speculation. BAD! Letcher Child

OmegaAlpha 83

I have to wake up at 7:00am and it is currently 6:20 am, but i can't stop watching. Guess I'm going to work on 10minutes of sleep.

maxyp4d
>>172545228

maybe its a setting you have turned on, i just subscribed at the highest level and its fine for me edit: and they also need to blur half the time for copyright issues regardless of patreon or else its a no no

demonic-myst

Actualy no rudy doesnt plan out the perverted acts infact in the novel we hear his inner monolog more He acts almost out of impulse he has bad impulse congrol and criticises himself for it in the books he usualy shows self hate after most these events he beats himself up over his perversion
