Marley
>>174029165

i've been waiting for that since they started watching this show

Maya Coleman

I can't wait for you guys reaction to the episode you guys are going to lose your minds 🔥

Maya Coleman

Also the peak for this show doesn't stop you guys aren't ready for them

Ryuuji Gremory

Love the "My Deku means you can do it" call back every time.

Teib _21

Everything is coming together now :D

JM

Completely Armined hahaha

rae

Omgggg this episode is soooo good, can’t wait for next weeks episodes too. This season is just bangers after bangers none stop

wicecakes

You know it's a peak episode when they put the title at the end. Also, you two nailed the MVPs this week

Miguel

The way bakugo's explosions shine like one for all when he uses it to save deku always gets me, incredible detail

Xaniss

yet it's still only in like the top 10 for best episode this season

Xaniss

i think Deku should have MVP this episode

Saruto

are you going to watch naruto after finishing my hero academia ?

Nicolas

oooof cant wait for the next 2 episodes

ShidoKusaki

I think the reason why Aizawa thought of eri when cutting off his leg was more along the lines of that he needs his quirk to look after her and he being the parent/Guardian we all know and love, cut it off without hesitation. Aizawa is one of best, if not, the best teacher in anime.

Rubin

The MVP is definitely a tough pick. I’d slightly lean to Deku not only did he hold off Shigaraki but he used float and Blackwhip to keep everyone from crumbling and keeping Shigaraki off the ground as well.

Aggy

Can't wait for next week's episodes!!

Trav

If at all possible, I'd HEAVILY recommend you guys try and go full blackout from reading any MHA comments this week. There's a certain imminent episode people are very excited about (understandably, it's really good!) and I'd hate for you to get even slightly spoiled about it in the home stretch. Absolutely loved this week's reactions though - the waifu/husbando stress is real lol.

Racel Umilin

God, i remember when the chapter from the manga came out, it was utter chaos. I could not go to any social media w/o seeing Bakugo's bbq skewered body plastered all over it.

melkamu avrham

Sorry, Different question you plan to watch Black Clover?🙏🔥

Yeah unfortunately the comments are already full of people who just can't seem to keep it to themselves.

Biostar

Yeah I loved that flashback re-imagining of Bakugo reaching out for kid Deku's hand. Horikoshi even did a full colored cover of it. And the end credits added another depiction of it. Also just a quick correction, Shimura was Gran Torino's friend, not his master. They were partners in crimefighting. He took All Might under his wing to honor her wishes.

Anthony Julian

Carlie last episode- “Bakugo would never” Very next episode- 😭😭 The recall to episode 1 when Deku’s body “moved on his own” to save Kachaan, so beautifully done. Bakugo & Deku’s relationship is so similar to Goku & Vegeta. Bakugo so observant of everything. This episode was beyond amazing. And to think it gets even better 🥲 We Need More Episodes!!

지원

s6 is peak man,..

Megan Ormshaw

If any episode had two MVPs it’s this one. It’s such a hard call. Bakugo’s character development and sacrifice is peak, but Deku is putting it all on the table and isn’t backing down despite being completely messed up.

Gavin fox

Shit already going down

Tyler Owens

Bakugo’s character arc >

Kiribukai

This season doesn’t have a single bad episode IMO. And this one is up there for me with my other favorites! Bakugo’s character arc is one of the best parts of the entire show. We finally see him voicing his regret of how he treated Deku to All Might, working to atone for his actions, and ultimately sacrificing himself to save Deku. 💔 I am seriously SO pumped to watch the rest of the season (and the next season too) with you guys! Y’all are in for one crazy ride 😭😭😭

Igor Sousa

i realy want to see you two react to That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

Addstir

Without saying anything about the seasons my favourites go: 7>6>4>3>5>2>1. The rest of this season is strong, season 7 is non-stop peak to me. Love these every Wednesday

Addstir

By the way, the Aizawa leg-chopping scene was actually played after the end-credits of Episode 8, y'all missed it, so I'm glad Aizawa didn't get MVP since it technically starts with a recap

Hani

Next set is gonna be my favorite 🤩

Kai

S6 and S7 are absolute peak

Void The Rose

for mvp discussion- i agree with bakugo.. ofc without deku everyone would have been dead but with him giving into his fatal flaw of being too self sacrificing should knock off some points like without bakugo's interfering he might have been cooked... deku is everyone's mvp but bakugo is deku's mvp here is how i like to see it lol love love this episode... i just love bakugo a lot and I think his journey is one of the best things I have witnessed... always love me a full circle moment so hearing bakugo say the same words deku did back in the first ep of how their body just moved on its own was cathartic.. he was always missing the selflessness part of heroism and because of his upbringing he was just too far into his big head to see his own shortcomings and also reach his hand back out to deku... but little by little we've seen him come into his own and pushing thru... making true friends and seeing them as equals... it just makes the end moment mean a lot... same as everyone else I cant wait for the next eps...its gonna be a little while still for my own personal fave episode ever but its gonna be a fun ride!

Kami

Dude the shigaraki screaming always gives me chills man. What a great VA. Haunting.

The Great Santini

In my mind, Aizawa was thinking about Eri in that moment because HE IS THE ONLY ONE who can help her recover from her trauma by allowing her to use her quirk in a safe, slow, and steady fashion. It makes it all the more heartwrenching that Aizawa's first thoughts go to his duty to this young girl who needs him.

The Great Santini
>>174086444

I must clarify: Aizawa is both DADDY and Eri's father now (not really, but I love the idea of it =P).

anime enjoyer ^^

Honestly, respect to the students. They are not pro yet, but they had to handle gigachad who is one of the most powerful being of the show with the destruction of multiple cities at stake and they did such a great effort. I hope they will be mentally okay and not feel too responsible for all the damage and lives that gigachad will take in these cities on his path to shigaraki. I love your reaction to these episodes ❤️

Ferni Delgado

“My Deku means you can do it” RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH🔥🔥🔥

Meg

DEKUUUU BAKUGOOOO!! I can't wait for next week's eps man holy shit!!

DarkNoctum

"My body just moved on its own." Absolute Cinema

Chimpman

I can't wait for next week, bros. We're gonna eat good.

Rob V.

So much fun watching you guys reactions to these peak episodes! Definitely a rollercoaster of emotions! Lol

Doji

"i was about to pick up the desk and shit" NAH CUS FR ME TOO!! PEAK IM TELLING YOU!!!!

Karin

Yeah the character developments in this show are done masterfully. Bakugou but evne Enji..slow and steady. The show enforces the idea of the possibility of changing, but also acknowledges that it is not easy and your past actions wont just disappear coz you changed.

usopps nose

BAKUGOS VA IS SO GOOD MAN

Dune

Even rewatching these episodes is getting me hype all over again lol

Justin Clowater

This season is absolutely peak cinema. Just... dang what a good season.

Naqib _

Using Armin-ed as a verb to describe Shigaraki is diabolical

# vivi

finally catching up and totally cried again during this episode lol. wholly agree bakugou just steals deku’s thunder in one move but DAMN was it such an impactful move 😭
