Been waiting this ep since you started mha 😝🔥🔥

SERVE DABI SERVE

Marley

f*ck you endeavor!

Phaerroh

It was SO nice to see this twist hit someone with full force. So many people I've seen reacting to this have, at the very least, a suspicion about Dabi being Toya. Be it more consciously or because they chucked out so many theories that it is among them, but very often it is there. Whenever Dabi was on screen with the focus on his fire and his eyes being the Todoroki blue, I was waiting if you'd notice with how perceptive you very often are. And don't get me wrong, this isn't a complaint by any means, quite the opposite! You pick up on so many things, and nobody can pick up on all the hints and foreshadowing obviously, that it was a delight that this one of all things was the one that managed to fly under your radar. Absolutely loved your expressions when that realisation hit! <3

Night Sterling

Dabi was prepared to nuke everyone and himself at the end 🔥

Kiribukai

OMG IT’S HAPPENING!! I have been waiting for y’all to get to this moment for so long! I can’t watch right now (dang work!) but the hype is so real right now! I cannot wait to watch this later today 😭😭😭

Bell Arclide

Im so glad no one spoiled this for you. I know most of us were lol.

ShidoKusaki

Shoto calling Endeavour "Dad" instead of his name and begging him to get up is so heartbreaking😢

Maya Coleman

I am ready to dance for peak 🔥

Maya Coleman

This is probably one of my favorite my hero episodes that I have ever watched 🔥

CastSenpai

You're starting to see why the Todoroki family story is the best written part of this series :)

MJAnime
>>174706381

Yes I was just thinking that. It wasn't even 5 minutes ago that he called him Endeavor and now after this reveal he called him dad. Regardless of what has happened in their family Shoto understands the weight of this moment on his father.

MJAnime

When Endeavor says, "I looked for you.", ugh that's so heartbreaking.

Danny C

Been waiting forever for this reaction! It recontextualizes everything about his character, and I highly suggest going back to a couple points in the previous arcs to watch with fresh eyes. It's one of those moments that, while not 1000% unforeseen given fan theories as the show was coming out, the execution of it made this a top 5 moment in the show. Loved the reaction

Zeli

Love these episodes so much was so exicted to hear you thought on yhe first half of S6.

Void The Rose

yep this ep was fire literally xd your reactions to the reveal did not disappoint! its been a minute since I saw a react channel that never suspected it so me and everyone as you can see was very excited for this one lol and I really liked how the reveal was done because with the added crash out and dramatics from Dabi and ofc his amazingggg voice acting it really elevated the scene that even if you already suspected it you would still be mindblown with the ep! just so good..

Tyler Owens

Keeping up with the Todoroki’s is one of the best subplots of the entire show.

Karin

Dabi really an innovator, he managed to implement the cancel culture into hero society and dismantled all the foundation for trusting heroes via one video. Honestly this is one of my fave moments in MHA, coz it makes rewatching MHA so much more fun and it shows us a bit more of one of the best stories in MHA - the Todoroki family.

Trav

Is this show not incredible?

Happy

Cancel culture in full swing in this one

Anthony Julian

Ohhh myyyy! 😭😭 we made it!!! We did it 😭🙌🏽 im soooo glad you guys werent ever spoiled from this moment 😭 Now going back and looking it, there were many moments and hints that Dabi might’ve been Toya but it was hidden so well. And believe it or not, as incredible and emotionally weighted as this episode was, we’ve got so much more on the way 🥹

Anthony Julian

And side note: shoto’s voice actor Yuki Kaji (Eren Jaeger) is such an incredible voice actor. Unbelievable voice acting on that scene trying to command Endeavor while fighting his own emotions

WOO

Hani

LET'S DANCE !!! Dabi is such a good villain dammit!!! 💙

Hani

Mha has (one of) the most relatable villains imo, especially Dabi and Toga

Tigerclaw

Can't wait for more "Keeping Up With the Todorokis" lmao

usopps nose

i can't tell you how EXCITED I was for this. literally every reactor knew about this twist, or at least suspected it. I am so surprised that you guys never once thought about it. 10/10 reaction fr

Decaf

I like Endeavor because he faces hardship over and over while he genuinely tries to make amend. It’s like someone keeps kicking down your sandcastle.

Itzel

OMG ITS FINALLY HERE, I waited so long for this reveal LMAO it's so funny how you guys had no idea😭

sukuna glazer
>>174727821

the todoroki family drama is literally the best subplot in the whole show. it's so well written

Medops

I know you guys said it but… DiD yOu HeAr tHE vOIcE AcTorS? 😱 Amaizing work. To keep up the momentum the whole episode just with the monologe and with the small things they could say. I can feel everything just from the voices. I love this show, and I’m so glad you guys are so into it too. Love ya <3

sukuna glazer

I actually started watching mha because of dabi's VA, absolutely love him as zenitsu. he's easily one of my fave characters

DarkNoctum

Dabi really hit them with the "My name is Eren Yeager"

Meg

We're finally at THE episode. The best subplot in this whole series peaked right here!! Man I've been waiting for this!

Meg

I absolutely LOVED you guys' reaction to the Dabi/Toya reveal! Peak peak PEAK!! Every time you guys would theorize about the plot I was hoping that you guys wouldn't suspect Dabi's role so that this reveal would not be spoiled for you, and I'm so happy it wasn't!!

Ryan Waselik
>>174726036

I'm so glad they weren't spoiled! Up until the reveal and their reaction, the seed of doubt in my head was that they were going to say after the fact that some comment or something gave it away ages ago lol. Carlie's delayed reaction was even better 😂

wicecakes

Love that Ange acknowledged the artists for capturing the nuance of what Endeavor is feeling. Sometimes they're actually closer to actors than VA's are, especially during scenes like that when there is no dialogue

Chlo

YESSS!! I was waiting for this episode ever since you started the series close to a year ago! y'all did not disappoint lol

Chlo
>>174740885

it's actually INSANE how versatile his VA is. He's also Connie from attack on titan! The dude can seriously do anything.

Rob V.

Just such an amazing moment for Dabi. All his hard work paying off! 😌😌😌😅😅😅

Rob V.
>>174752900

Same! Im so glad they got to it without spoilers. Such an epic moment! 🔥🔥🔥

Dune

I think when you first meet dabi and find out about toya you would have to assume at least once could this be home but with his new personality it would be hard to even believe it.

Carlie & Ange
>>174704921

Haha thank you. Honestly I’m glad we didn’t suspect it either. I love being shocked to my core with a great twist!

Sergio

Shoto!!! Just TREMBLE SCREAMING “DAD!! DO THAT LATER!! DAD!!!!!”…….aaagghhhhhh, it ALWAYS GETS ME!!!!

ImZeaT

You say Dabi smeared Endeavour but that's not true, he merely exposed him to the public. Smearing is when it's false...

kathleen

My longest comment ever— spoiler free, I promise! I went into MHA with lots of things already spoiled for me, including this. Not necessarily a bad thing, I tend to kinda screen shows before I commit to them and I’ve still loved MHA. That said, I’m having an absolute blast being able to have that fresh, first-watch experience by rewatching with you guys! It’s been such fun being able to theorize about what YOUR theories might be. Specifically on the Touya = Dabi reveal, your reactions made me realize how sneakily well this was built up to in the show. When they first introduced Geten (the ice villain with the Paranormal Liberation Front) in S5 and revealed that he has white hair earlier in S6, I wondered if you guys might pick him as a possible alive-Touya, as a young man with white hair and ice powers. Since Touya’s shrine has a photo of him with white hair, I would’ve probably guessed he had Rei’s ice quirk if I hadn’t already known he became Dabi. Anyway, thanks as always for sharing and I hope you have a great week! Much love ❤️❤️

Jamie

Your reaction was phenomenal!! Like everyone else has said I'm so glad it didn't get spoiled! I've been waiting for this episode since you started the show but especially since you started to learn about the Todoroki family in season 2. Dabi is one of the best characters in the entire show for everything that he represents. and a personal favourite of mine. I love Carlie being so hopeful about him being saved/redeemed. So many questions of what this reveal means for everyone in the show and I'm so excited to see your reaction to the fallout! A lot of other reactors got spoiled from comments and fan theories, especially because this chapter blew up online when it was revealed. It got released on Nov 5, 2020 which was the date of the US Presidential election and outtrended the election worldwide on twitter because of how crazy people went over it. There's so much context when you go back and rewatch so I hope you will on your own for certain episodes. My favourite moment though is that the first time we see Dabi he's coming out of a hair salon after just having died his hair black. I don't think they included it in the anime, it might have just been the manga, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Leonard Schlanger

I am here specifically for Ange’s reaction to the Dabi reveal. Years later and I still have chills

AngelFr0m Sky

This episode its just so good and perfect in every way and have for me the best two characters plots of the whole series, and how this events of toya and endeavor and uraraka and toga, are going to have a lot of impact in the future and i cant wait to see the resolution of this episodes in s7 and for me those 2 episodes, are the best mha episodes in the whole series. I CANT WAIT FOR MORE MHA JUST SEE THE WHOLE DAMN SERIES SHITTTTT!!!!!!

april 🍏

This weeks episode of keeping up with the Todoroki's is so wild bro.. But for real, the VA's killed it this episode (dub is really good too if you guys check it out!), the raw emotion is so real. You can feel the vindication and rage in Dabi's voice and the pain and panic in Shoto's as he screams at his dad to protect his friends. Shoto, poor sweet child does not deserve this 😢 I would say that this storyline is the best part of the show for me (aside from daddy Aizawa ofc). It's so complex and really adds to the narrative about "good heroes vs bad heroes" that is being propelled by the villains. So much nuance. You can do good things and be a bad person. You can do bad things and find redemption. But the mistakes and pain you caused other people doesn't go away, and you're not entitled to their forgiveness. Banger of an episode. I'm so glad it wasn't spoiled for yall!

storm (kasey) !

like touya said, you reap what you sew ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i gotta be honest i don’t feel bad for endeavor at all lol but shoto in this ep makes me cry, he really does not deserve any of this 💔

Naqib _

I am so glad you guys weren't spoiled on the twist. I got spoiled back in season 3 by manga readers :(

sukuna glazer
>>175122485

mha, jjk and demon slayer fans are honestly competing on who's the best at spoiling. I just watch one season and suddenly get spoiled on the whole plot

Amir Shipp

I said before that Endeavor is absolutely one of the best characters in the series because of the writing of him and his family and, fck if I ain't meant it. Lmao

Sude

somehow mha fandom figured this out ages before reveal. Everyone was talking about him as Toya casually I forgot it wasn't "canon" and just a theory, so I was confused reading the chapter when it came out😭 "wait we knew that already" no we didn't 💔. Rewatching with you guys, I realized it was actually a really good twist and not that predictable

Daniela Bustos

Wow… crazy how I know a lot about the manga ending, but I didn’t get spoiled about this. I was SHOOKED 😂 Hope I’m caught up to the current episodes soon 🙈 I’m almost there! Hahaha
