If you’re watching the ovas plaese make sure not to watch ilses notebook until AFTER season 2 episode 1. There is a critical piece of information that would be best if the normal show reveals to you first. Also ilses notebook follows well into season 2 episode 2

I said awhile back (in a youtube comment before i was a Patreon) that the back third of this season really kicks up a notch, all of this female titan stuff was the shit I was talking about. I think this episode is in my top 5 episodes of AOT but the best imo are in season 3 part 2. Some of the best T.V I've ever seen is just a couple seasons away ;D <3

No it doesn't!!! Ilse's notebook came After season one and it's supposed to be watched after season 1 to explain hanged obsession with Titans. It won't take Anything away from season 2s episodes

Make sure to watch Ova episode "Ilse's notebook" RIGHT AFTER season 1 before season 2 idk why people make reactors watch the FIRST OVA episode out of order.

The disappointment in Anges face when Carlie didn't get his (really good) pun.. 😂😂 I must say this round goes to Ange..👍 Still Carlie being the clear leader of course. . I'd like to make a connection to League at this point (hope that is okay in AoT area.. 😉) . Ange already has his own League name: AHRILO! It's only fair that Carlie gets one as well. Love the discussion today! This episode is an emotional roller coaster. It’s so sad losing Levi Squad so suddenly like that right after we got to know them. Levi passing over their bodies is heartbreaking. He’s so stoic but you can still see how much it hurt him. Can’t wait for you to watch his OVA episodes! You never know with this show what episodes are going to pop off like this. It really keeps you on your toes. Can’t wait for the next reaction!

That may be the case but the overall impact of the reveal will be felt way more if they watch episode 1 of season 2 before ilses notebook. It definitely does take away from the reveal if you watch ilses notebook. Like I said it should be watched in order of season 2 ep 1 then ilses notebook and then episode 2. If you think about all the stuff in ilses notebook it is tied in very well for that viewing order

Hanged ovsession with titans is already well known, learning about how that started isn’t as important as the two big reveals in that ova

Because that order is the best way to watch it, I have seen multiple reactors watch it in the order you have stated and it has ruined their reactions to episode 1 of season 2. Watch the ova after episode 1 for the best viewing experience overall

Hi Sean. As a AoT newbie I saw your comment and watched the episodes in the order you suggested. I agree that this way the reveal had a much bigger impact! 👍 Since there is no negative point in watching it in this order I would definitly recommend to do so. Thanks for the hint. 😀
