Yessss i've been waiting for this one

Meg B

Just 2x1 is fine I think! ☺️

mapo picker

I think most people are used with 2x1, 2x2, etc

Meka

*Unsubscribing and cancelling Patreon membership* for that statement 😂

So, as you noticed it had a lot of parallels to the Female Titan Arc. Before they leave for the 23th expedition, Levi says his gut tells him, that they should stay behind. In the forest, Levi tells Eren to trust his gut, and pick the decision that he would regret the least. Love this OVA

MasterOfPuppets

Keep it simple. 2x1, 2x2 is fine for me. But between 2x1 and 2x2 is always space for Ilses notebook. 😉☝️

This OVA really helps you understand that whole sequence with Eren in the woods with Levi squad. That conversation with Eren hits a bit harder when you know it comes from Levi’s own personal experience with loss and the choice he made here. Those parallels and the outcomes, So heartbreaking. On a lighter note, Hange always brings that energy and it’s impossible not to smile seeing her get way too excited about stuff. She’s a loon and I absolutely love her! Levi-tating was too good. These puns are getting out of hand in the best way 🤣

Liboo

This OVA was heartbreaking, really well done though. Levi feels the emotions as bad as everyone else, I think he just takes it out in combat. Great reactions as always!

overall i think the 2x22 type of thing better for search algorithm :) not sure tho

Sammie

Levi is such a great character as he cares and feels for everyone but keeps things inside. I just love him 🥺 I choked on my food when Ange said you'd wait 4 years for the second season 😂😂 I think 2x1 is fine. Can't wait for seasons two's reactions

Sean Carroll

1. That abnormal was definitely not a titan shifter. 2. I believe this takes place at least 5 years before season 1 starts, so in the current timeline it’s been 10 years since Levi met Erwin. But I’m not entirely sure, Levi is about 30 years old in season 1. See you guys for season 2 in 2026

Effi

According to the manga this takes place in 844, which is 1 year before the main story starts - the same year Mikasa loses her parents. Levi's age isn't specified, we only know he's older than 30 in S1, so he is at least 16 years older than Mikasa :)

Rachel Titsch

Notice Levi's 2 different squads so to say both said "have faith in us" and all perished

Martin

2x1 is better I think

MasterOfPuppets

Must admit that I'm glad to be new to this show regarding the waiting time😀😀😉. But hey, I came here from Arcane, so I know right now what you must have felt at that time. I hope (and think) that it will not be 4 years for Arcane , but then the cliffhanger was much harder. So all of us have/had our burden to bear.. 😉😂👍

Josh Knoebel

This OVA was Expedition #23. Season one they go on Expedition #57 and encounter the female titan. So, lots of expeditions. I don't know that they officially give a time difference, but Levi is 30ish in Season 1. I do agree with Ange on the similarities between Eren and Isabella. Longing for freedom and all the bird symbolism. I think Levi can feel that same energy, and that's why he's so stern with Eren. He doesn't want him to end up the same way.

No way... 😆😂😆😂 You should be glad that this AoT. In the School of League that would have meant detention! 🧐☝️ 😉😜

We ended up watching it after episode 2, so there wasnt really an issue tbh. Lucky we didnt watch it before season 2 though!

Okay. Not much of a problem then.😅 And now you know why it was suggested to watch it after episode 1..😉
