We hope your day gets better! And yes, Carlie seems to be getting quite experimental with the thumbnails.....haha

omg love the scene with levi escaping kennys people in this ep, probably one of my favourite AOT moments

When that first aired, I rewound and watched it like 5 times. I was floored by the animation

Josh Knoebel

I love how this show makes so many significant revelations as offhand remarks. Every line of dialogue matters. That scene where Sannes was admitting what the interior police do to keep order? So interesting to watch it again.

If I remember correctly that scene took over a month to animate. It also pioneered a new technique blending CGI and hand drawn, can't remember exactly how but there's youtube videos on it. Note if you read this Carlie and Ange don't look that up,, cause you will likely see a making of a different scene instead which is in season 3 pt 2. FYI there is a small sequence which took 1 month to storyboard and 3 months to animate, iconic scene in AOT.

A fun fact about Sannes telling Hange about the people they’ve killed to uphold peace in the walls, it shows that the couple that tried to fly in a hot air balloon were Armins parents.

M.N.

im so glad to be on this journey with you guys.

Sean Carroll

Yeah so historias dad is the true king of the walls and works in the shadows mostly, that’s why they have a puppet king on the throne called fritz, so that historias dad is never truly discovered by the masses of people, only a select few know he’s the true king

Pablo Montoya

By the way, the couple that was murdered on the blimp were Armin's parents, and the first one was Erwin's Dad.

Sammie

The Levi Vs Kenny's squad scene will always be one of my favorite scenes ever!!! Thank you for the update ❤️

Jake Thompson

You really have to acknowledge how foreign of a thought it is for the Scouts to kill other humans. In this universe, killing another human is seen as an even more egregious crime because of their situation. It's titans vs. humans, so for a person to easily kill another is extremely disturbing, hence why Eren's backstory was so shocking during the court case and why Kenny is seen as such an almost mythological boogeyman. Each person is valuable, given the limited availability within the walls, and the ability to take another life is seen almost as a severe defect no matter the reason.

Isnt it fascinating how every single character in this show is so strong tied to the narrative even now even that guy who tried to put his business first then people. Man i love this show

I would just like to suggest taking note of the people Sannes listed here when talking to Hange about them dirtying their hands to keep the peace. It's interesting later on. That is all on that subject. I know you guys have mentioned it before, but I truly do recommend watching the dub when you finish. Even if you just do it on your own time and don't do a reaction (though, I do hope to see a reaction)...I highly highly HIGHLY recommend it!! You can catch some of the little things that may not have been clear or that you may have missed. Plus, it's good to re-watch this show at least once, in my opinion. Hell, I might even go as far as to say it's necessary. SO MANY things make SO MUCH more sense!! Great reaction! Glad I decided to come over instead of waiting. :)

lafatte24

god, rewatching your reactions just made me realise how early on Isayama had set up the main themes in this series. it's honesl so so brilliant. I strongly suggest you guys do a rewatch of the entire series after you finish season 4 (after a break of course lol). you really notice so many things you missed previously. even with all us annoying commentors lol.
