hey guys, remember how you guys wanted to know why the titan that ate eren didn’t get his powers? the answer was in this ep but idk if y’all caught it right away lol probably by the re-watch yal did

We're all simps for Erwin (and others) so it's totally normal, but calling Grisha's titan a hot titan is on another level 😂😂 This is the first time I see someone call "it" hot 😂😂😂😂

This was one of the many points in the series where I was really glad this show is so grounded and that (almost) everything has an explanation and/or follows the rules. That is so rare in media. You would let us know if you wanted a hint at which part of the episode, so won't elaborate further.

I just want to point out an excellent example of the ODM gear being inconsistent. When Levi throws the oil at Kenny and then comes out through the flames to slash him, can anyone tell me how he is moving toward Kenny? He isn't attached to anything via cables. :) This is of course not as bizarre as how they have full conversations while somehow moving in a straight line in parallel with one another while using a mobility device that relies on swinging from anchored points.

Thank god you said it! 🙏👍 As an AoT newbie I would not have said it aloud fearing I missed something that would have explained it! 😂😂

Eren was not only feel guilty but (as you suspected) wants to kill all the titans, and he thought if Historia eats him, she could kill all the titan, which is not true because Rod was not really truthful there

The ODM gear in the games is often presented as a booster pack of sorts, while the cables are needed for longer travel, the actual gas can propel them for shorter distances, especially if they have some altitude. Probably the best way to explain it :p

@MetalMR I feel like how it is presented in the games is a valiant attempt to justify how it works in the anime. XD

They can propel themselves with just gas, and since Levi is so small he can ride that momentum much farther than an average soldier. Just like when he went Sonic mode on the Female Titan, he wasn't anchored to anything, he was just propelling himself with the gas.

Sean Carroll

good thing Grishas dead Ange, otherwise he might steal yo girl

the titans appeared approx 100 years ago and the king back than created the walls using the founding titan to protect all the people that he could. He then wiped their memories of the world so now no one inside the walls know what happened 100 years ago or why the titans first attacked
