is the point of them reacting on camera not to theory-craft with the information they've been given? they're entitled to their experience with the show just like you were when you first watched. ultimately it was their choice and honestly that seems to be when it's the most fun for them. it's all you can really ask for as a viewer in my opinion.

First time watching this 3 epic episode I was so hopeless and thought how they will get through this its like nothing will going right, yet Isayama answer it all so perfectly in this episode.

That hitch scene is very good because Marlo thinks she's probably sleeping, but in reality she isn't because she's worried about him and the others. Just shows that in his final moments marlo decided to think of her in a good way

Haters won't like what you said but I agree. I always vote for reactors to skip the end credits scene of ep12 because it's too easy to piece together what happens before ep 18. The emotions hit a lot harder when you don't see it coming

Interesting take about Armin/Reiner/Bertholt and courage. I think titan shifters are inclined to preserve their selves (ultimate example being Annie crystallizing), as they know the power that they have and could potentially lose…whereas Armin as a human there was willing to let everything go. There seems to be something about the power of the shifters that demands preservation of the self

Yes, same reason I voted no - I missed the end credit scene and the realisation when Armin starts breathing and Erwin appears... I had to get up and pace the room haha. So glad I had no clue.

Idk if you guys noticed, but the writers keep it open in this episode as to who you believe is the hero alluded to in the title, which I think is a neat detail.

That's why it's so rated 9.9 in imdb all the way from ep 16, 17 and 18. In my opinion all the way to ep 22 is godtier for me. So glad you guys loved this ep!

Agreed its way too easy to see it coming. Dont have to be a genius. When you dont know what will happen the emotions hit so much harder. Its a shame people would rather get the instant gratification of the end scene rather than the harder hit by waiting and going in blind.
