Ciaphas Cain

Take care guys! Hope you will feel better soon!

Henriette

Hope you're feeling a bit better ❤️Thanks for this! ❤️

Vyn

Health comes first! We appreciate your content and service! But I wish you both well first and foremost!

Chris Martinez

I was just checking to see if you guys had posted so glad you did !! Hope you two feel better soon ❤️

AyBe

The thing about Reiner describing his time on Paradis Island that he fails to describe them as anything other than normal people. That’s why Gabi was confused after when he said “there were all kinds of people there” and questioned “they’re devils aren’t they?”

Abdulrahman Mahdi

Gabi and falco now are 12 years old, when Reiner time finish as a titan they will be 14 years old.

Zyrus

One thing you have to love about this series is the attention to details. There are some things that unless you're really paying attention don't get the first time around, and it's fascinating to watch the reactions for first timers to see who gets them.

Svandi

In the dinner scene when Reiner is describing his operation on Paradis, he's saying they yes, they are devils, because he is expected to say so. But when trying to give specifics, the most devillish things he can think of are potatoes and bathroom. I liked that.

Mr Joker

"it's good to see Zeke with some clothes on" LOL

Josh Knoebel

I love the parallels in this season. Everything connects and reflects so well. As for why they have to be children that inherit the titans, my theory/opinion is that it's because they're easier to brainwash. The Eldians are forced into internment zones, treated like subhumans (literally called devils), and outright murdered by Marley, but these kids are chomping at the bit to become weapons of mass destruction on their behalf. They've been pumped full of delusions of grandeur and propaganda. Much easier to do to children with no perspective.

Ary Tang

Ange is really doing a fantastic job with this intro! The previous ones are good as well but this one! I think I love it more than the original version haha🤣🤣

Ivan Haji

Reiner couldn't think of anything negative to say about them. He truly believes he killed people unjustly. Hence why his family is confused/shocked seeing him say/like that.

Mr Joker

did you guys realize who Pieck was?

Victoria💄

Grice (Grishas old friend) was Falcos uncle good job pointing it out!!! (Also im still curious about the spoiler Ange saw🤣🤔🤔)

Luciana Alexandre

The brothers: Colt and Falco Grice, Marcel and Porco Galliard, Zeke and Eren Yeager .

Coco

good pickup on Grice! I actually think Grisha's friend was Falco's uncle or something, not his dad but im not sure if thats ever really clarified in the show so im sayin it

Coco

oh the same comment is 2 above mine. my bad LMAO

Derek Ferguson

“Hammer hands… or a hammer head… or maybe it’s whole body is a hammer…” 😭I love your reactions. Can’t wait to see you watch this season unfold.

Roy Saw

I don't think y'all understood the dinner table scene. Reiner was asked to describe what he saw during his time with the devil's but what he described WASNT devil like, it was human like, then Reiner ends his story with "there were all sorts of PEOPLE there" you can see the mad expression on Reiner's mom's face and then Gabi says "but , they're devils right"

I like how, in S4, MAPPA puts more trust in the audience. In the manga, they put panels of each character mentioned side by side. When Reiner mentioned the potato scene, the manga showed Sasha eating a potato during the rite of passage. However, in the anime, they skipped that because they believe we, the audience are familiar and invested with the show already.

CubaxFTW

This seasons great itching for more content lol

Sammie

Falco my boy is the best, I can't even describe how much I love him😭 and poor Reiner getting roasted by you guys 😂 give him some love please😂! Not Gabi being proud of her "achievement" in the war. I mean I understand that they've been brainwashed to go to war but to feel that great and energetic after a brutal fight is what bothers me about her. Thanks guys for the upload and I hope you're feeling better!

Carolina

Reiner couldn’t say anything bad about his soldier mates… the worst he could say was Sasha eating a potato and some other stupid things. Reiner really did care about them, he’s my favorite and I have a tattoo for him done in my whole right arm. He’s the best written in the show to me. Hope you’ll change your mind about him

Blaise

Zeke has 1 year left. Reiner has 4 years left. Galliard says, "If I had inherited the armored 9 years ago, none of this would've happened."

Sammie

I love Reiner, he's so well written and his character development is interesting!

Anna Kyruin
>>86391823

In addition, as was pointed out in this episode Gabbi would live until she is 27 if she inherits the armored now. 27 is the average age of a US soldier today (officers average 34) this is historically high too as the military has been trying to hire more mature soldiers in recent years. Basically Marley seems to have the Warriors life span intentionally calculated to end after their usefulness as a front line soldier would traditionally have been expected to deteriorate. In a real world context you may also ask why we hire 18 year old children as soldiers. They're only three to four years older than Gabbi after all.

DANIEL PEEDAH

reiner #1 character, even at this point imo

Anna Kyruin

What episode have you watched through as of this post, out of curiousity?

Clown

The Reiner dilemma is starting to kick in LOL. Isyama is a cruel writer.

The Plot Armored Titan

My poor man Reiner getting suspicious by Carlie and Ange. Maybe because he still has the Female Titan blood smeared on him. 😂

Carolina
>>86401781

I started loving Reiner the first time he appeared… when I confessed I was shocked and I loved him even more ahaha

Russell Gambardella

Reiner is such an intriguing and well written character; Isayama showing him from both extreme perspectives is truly masterful crafting. Can’t wait for more from you both!!

Nightwitch

Reiner is top shelf for me <3 best character.

Courtland Brown

When Reiner was describing his time on Paradis he was genuinely trying to think of bad things to say about them. But the things he came up with were all ordinary / mundane. Despite his best effort, he can’t see them as devils anymore. That’s why his mother reacted that way

Martina
>>86397399

Reiner is my favorite character too! now I can finally say it, without spoiling the show.

Jonathon Elkins

Y’all are probably past these episode now, but season 4 episodes 5, 6, and 7 are worth watching in one sitting but it’s not as necessary as the previous episode trilogy. However season 4 episodes 19, 20, and 21 should definitely be watched together. It’s even better than 3x16, 17, 18 IMO

TrixieTurner

Don't insult Pieck like that, she's nothing like Mikasa.

Night Sterling

Reiner wasn't talking shit about Sasha, he was genuinely trying to think about "evil" things that the eldians on paradis did but the worst thing he could think of was Sasha eating a potato during the entrance ceremony and sharing it with keith, so if anything Reiner was saying that the people of Paradis were anything but evil.

Aleksandra

" 3 years of this madness surrounded by nothing but idiots, we were just kids we didn't know about anything if I only never knew there were people like this " watching his side and where he's coming from after all this years of being in Paradis makes you realize what kind of torment he has to go through inside his head. Especially when he said " her son went as a kid and gone back as a grown man " he spent all of his "teenage" growing up life in enemy's country to come back home as a man who have seen both sides and is confused of his own identity. Reiner is the best character on this show!

Gigi

love that you noticed falco's relation to grice, a lot of ppl miss it and it gives reasoning to part of the reason why him and colt are warriors and it's to atone for his family's sins which is a shame since he's just a kid. yeah i remember watching the reiner scene for the first time and genuinely laughing at how he was talking about sasha connie, jean, eren, arumika acting like clowns in such a serious tone. he rlly was just being sarcastic but his fully brainwashed family believed it except for the child of second guessed.

Roy

Reiner threatened falco at first in the train to show him how his words could be taken as traitorous by someone who didn't share his views and to teach him to choose his words carefully in front of people in marley. I won't go on about Why he said what he said about sasha and the others as people in the comments seemed to have covered that

Crusher

Its been addressed but Reiner didnt talk shit about Sasha. The potato talk was the worst thing he could come up with which is just normal human behaviour. Thats why you saw his mother in shock as it was NOT devil like.

Cation

You guys will end up loving Reiner, he is such a great character in AoT. Amongst the top for sure, this season brings a whole new perspective.

Zyrus
>>86427188

This counts as subjective spoilers, especially since some of us do not love Reiner.

Guillermo Rodriguez

I thought you guys would be surprised that Cart Titan was Female since last episode Carlie said "he". War Hammer Titan is badass, can't wait to see your reaction, please guess who it is the first chance you get :)

kevin

you guys are really pumping out the content quick, thanks for your hard work

Frozenbozo

Im sure you guys have already read this but he was indeed not talking shit about Sasha always took the scene as in his attempt to talk about them being evil he inadvertently described them basically as normal people which is why the mother was shocked. The people on the Island are just every day normal people which is the opposite of what these people are brainwashed to believe.

Julius Mabry

y’all’s pacing is awesome!

Amrith

Now that AOT has officially begun, I find asking myself one question, "do I have to go through this journey, once again?"

Jordan Olivier

Great catch Ange! That last name was definitely Grice when Grisha was a younger restorationist

Miki

ive watched AOT at least 3 times through and have never caught on to the Grice connection this is why you two are my favorite react channel; you really pay attention and care about the series you watch AOT or otherwise
