Ciaphas Cain

There is plenty of epic episodes in this season 😉 Prepare for a lot more shouting as the story progresses 😂

Degenerick

were yal ready for the nutcracker?

Kyndra Carr

oh man, im so sad i have to wait for full length reaction! Im so excited!! 😁

Twatattack

OMG. This had to be one of my fav episodes from the whole series. Cant wait to watch it when i get home.

Happy bee

"Oh he's discovered coffee" I'm dead😭😭😭

Jonathon Elkins

The Armored has not fully transformed because of his lack of energy, for the record. I also thought it was a new 'form' when I first saw it haha

Jonathon Elkins

Ange is picking up on a critical point. The idea that the Eldians of Paradise must fight is a point of contention among the fanbase, and probably the biggest dividing line. All nations declared war with Marley on Paradise right before Eren struck Liberio. It is inevitable that Paradise will be exterminated if they don't fight back. A lot of people who like to play the "both sides" line seem to forget that our main cast, specifically Eren, has their back against the wall with no other options than to fight or die. A consistent theme in the show.

Zyrus

Remember, Marley declared war first. Eren was considerate enough to wait. This is on Marley.

Akram Almalahi

You always hoping that everyone is OK so we don't know in which side you are 🤔🤣

TrixieTurner

Damn I never really thought of it like that, Falco kind of is a better Mikasa.

Victoria💄

Please dont feel pressured to like or dislike certain characters just because some fans like or dislike them. You are watching the show with your own two eyes you have every right to like Eren or Gabi or whoever you want. Just because some fans suddenly hate Eren doesnt mean that you have to feel the same, you are free to form your own opinions while simultaneously understanding both sides.

Turza
>>86960034

you can just watch hoping characters you like dont die... you don't need to choose side, this isn't politics

taengsicle unbreakable

Its so refreshing how positif you guys talk about Gaby, most people I know or watch, HATE her, now I can't wait to watch next episode to see if your opinion about her will be still same or not 😌

Jaypee87
>>86958997

I think the point of contention is just exactly how one chooses to "fight back".

Turza
>>86961051

Yeah I hate her as well, she reminds me so much of S1 Eren xD I hate annoying brats

Georgie Acero

"he's discovered coffee" killed me because same eren, sameee. School and work are killing me LMAOOO

Jaypee87

Been hearing this a lot, but wanted to articulate better how I feel about the whole "is Eren good or bad" thing. Marley instigated the war when they sent the warrior unit. True. Does Paradis have a right to defend themselves? Absolutely. Is Eren still a great character? Hard to deny. But are there some questionable actions taking place? Don't see how this can be controversial. Both Armin and Mikasa have shown just how horrified, remorseful, and disappointed they were in how all this unfolded, and the blame does lie squarely on Eren. Now of course you can argue that he had no choice. I'm not sold on that myself, but it's not an argument without merit. I just get a little tilted when ppl are just totally on board with everything Eren does, glorify him like some cult leader, instead of just accepting that he, like so many of our other favorite characters, are also flawed and do questionable things (except Mikasa, she's perfect)

Tien Nguyen

Carlie got a big brain :)

Akram Almalahi
>>86961051

yah but it's better that you don't talk about coming episodes let them enjoy them self 😉

bluerum

NO SPOILERS/INSIDE JOKES, WE CAN DO IT GUYS

Well yaaaa ive seen a lot of fans not liking the sudden shift to his character and grew to love gabi pieck and all them and they hate eren for basically maturing and fighting back his enemies who are attacking him. Its sad actually cause the point is to understand that this is a full on war and that both sides and right and wrong and ready to defend their hometowns.

Amrith

Ange, right on cue about Gabi being Eren 2.0. Is Carle a psychic, btw? If so, I would like a reading sometime soon 🤣. I am not going to say about what though. Loved your reaction on this episode and the previous one. It was the Pieck of the bunch.

Ivan Haji

Eren is collecting Titans like they're Pokémon.

ParaLottie

Things are really ramping up this is so exciting! My personal favourite moment from this episode was Gabi's voice actor absolutely screaming her lungs out for Reiner. So much raw emotion in that performance. I saw that Carlie reacted a similar way I did when I first watched this moment, it was heart-wrenching, made me tear up. One of the most top-notch parts of this show is the voice acting. I don't even need to tell you guys how amazing Eren's voice actor is, Yuki Kaji. Supremely talented as you know. Also Ange, I don't blame you at all for simping over Pieck. She is just adorable and charming, no way around it. Who would've guessed the person beneath the duck titan could be so cute?

Er Zou

So guys simple question : still hate Reiner ?

Beyonder

Great puns guys, cracke up there lol Now i wanna see the Shredded titan drinking coffe, itd be cool if Carlie made an image of that so I can use it as my wallpaper 😀 Eren is King no matter what, he's probably the emotions many people feel in this world to an extent. This will make more sense by the end of season 4 part 2

St Patrick Brown

Wonder how Eren would operate if he had the Colossal as well🤔…would his only power be to destroy the area

GB3
>>86960787

Very good points. Floch is the exception though 😂

John Pyne

Love seeing different people react to this season. I love you Ange but man's been a little too excited whilst seeing the shredded titan and crew committing some war crimes 😂😂

Sparky
>>86960787

Eh tbh every character has Haters it’s not surprising no matter what Eren does team Eren all the way

Tyler Owens

God I love watching y'all watch this show. 😁

Akram Almalahi

I think Eren can Transform more than once because he have more than one Titan But I'm not sure 🤔

Sean Carroll
>>86959974

she can walk, she can talk, she can throw grenades, she can run, she can think, theres a lot of things that she can do and im sure she can do more

Sean Carroll
>>86965215

it doesnt sound or look like it anymore, hopefully they at least appreciate him

Turza
>>86966656

It's just practice, Annie also transformed twice in the forest arc

Jaypee87

My question for Ange and Carla - I mean Carlie - is which character model's new look are you guys digging the most? (sorry bout the Carla joke, couldn't help myself!)

Mr Joker

Guys don't feel pressured to change your feelings about certain characters. Me personally I've always hated armin lol

Burning Talons

The armor transformation is because of his lack of willpower to live. Carlie was right

Trent_88

Ive always seen Gabi as haaving Erens passion with Mikasa's skill. And I' seen Falco as having Mikasa's love with Armins intellect. I think those parallels are intentional. Similarly parralels between the main 3 with Bert, Reiner and Annie.

Gray

"The ducks been obliterated" As opposed to "The Duck got Fucked" ? xD

Peak

Love the answer, that Eren did what he had too, remember Season1 he said he will kill them all he still has that passion which I respect

Jaypee87
>>86969779

Hate's a strong word, but if I had to choose a character that I didn't care for much, I'd probably pick that one general/prime minister guy in Paradis that was torturing the old establishment guys in S3P1. Dude is just weird.

Rei

I love how Carlo had pictures of Pieck and the Panzer Unit inside his machine gun turret. It really shows how close they were. Even though they were Marleyans, they loved and respected Pieck.

Gabriel Barott
>>86958997

Yeah as Jaypee stated, there are many ways to fight back. I feel as though to look at this as one side needs to beat the other, is a pretty surface level analysis.

Gabriel Barott

Not sold on the idea that these things Eren and gang are doing are things that need to be done. One could argue that if our crew were convicted enough in their belief that they are not an "evil race", they would choose peace even if that meant the Eldians being wiped out. However, I'm not saying that what Eren is doing is not understandable, because of course it is. Eren is just doing what he believes is the only path to the Eldian's survival. I think there are a lot of other ways to attain peace, albeit more difficult ways.

Carlie & Ange
>>86965215

Nope, definitely no hate for Reiner! He’s been one of the better characters this season so far 😊

Carlie & Ange
>>86969229

Hmmm thats a good question! We might need some more time with them to answer that, but we’re liking Jean!

Snow
>>86966656

He had a whole training session put in the past seasons with him trying to transform more than once, they even reference it in the Survey Corp VS Colossal situation in Shiganshina. They've established he can transform up to 3 times as a 15 Meter titan.

Mr Joker
>>86962075

I love Mikasa but she annoys me in the last episodes lol with the "let's try to talk first" bs

Snow
>>86960034

AoT is exactly politics, it's the premise of the show.

alternia though

However you feel about this show and its politics, you can't deny that the characters' motivations and flaws at least make sense for their stories and arcs. That's the one thing that's kept me still loving the show up to now - even after all the messed up stuff that happens and the iffy politics that are on display sometimes, I always feel like I can understand WHY a character does or feels something, and that's just good storytelling. I even understand/empathize with Floch, and I hate him the most lmao

Jordan Olivier

Team Eren STAND UP!! Let Go! great episode guys. You are free to side with whoever you want. There are no right/wrong answers.

Carlie & Ange
>>86965930

I cant help it 😆 the shredded is an icon on this channel. He’s doing some questionable things though

Russell Gambardella

Loved this reaction from you both! I appreciate your ability to empathize with the characters from both sides of the war; like you guys mentioned it makes watching conflict this season potentially uncomfortable at times but only adds to the depth at which you can appreciate the brilliance of this writing!

Jaypee87
>>86965930

Don't feel bad about getting hyped up during tense moments. The animation, score, and sheer epicness should be enjoyed. The Shredded is pretty badass!

Ivan Haji
>>86977239

The best weapon Eren has is the rumbling. The threat of it was the only thing stopping Marley from wiping them everyone inside the walls from existence. The show made it clear multiple times that the Titans would soon be irrelevant as human technology was growing at a quick rate. And historically speaking, the show is based around the 1930s. It was only a matter of time before tanks, nukes, & fighter jets, & other weapons would have been made. Eren knows this. It was either now or never for him.

Hertog

You're right Carlie about the armored titan. The transformation looked incomplete, he was missing the face armor for example. Its because he lost the will to live.

Coco

Holy heck, team, the puns were absolutely on point this episode. Absolute legends, love your reactions. Thanks for being genuine and awesome.

Kolton Nay

"Because the Shredded is a bad bad man" had me rolling. XD

Jordan Olivier
>>86985563

lol just my personal opinion. I think if someone is not the type to "want to get even" or believes in "an eye for an eye" then you will NOT like Eren at all. Period. Personally, I appreciate his approach....and I am speaking as someone who has read the manga a few times and finished the series.....Team Eren all day lol

Gabriel Barott
>>86984837

Yeah I agree, Floch is almost detestable, but I can still understand how he feels. I think Floch is just a great character, and a prime example of the extremes of this kind of subject matter.

Gabriel Barott
>>86977239

Sure, but that's not really the point i'm making. Eren and gang can attain peace without Eren's path that he believes is the only way AND peace can be attained without being a pacifist. Eren is simply taking the most surface level course of action.

Cation

Jean is the best one at using ODM gear of all the scouts. This episode was fire and sadly conflicting because of all the gruesomeness and all the death

alternia though
>>86984837

I always think now about that one line of his in season 3 before Erwin dies, about his goal in life being bringing back the devil. He's sorta come full circle, just in an insanely diabolical way. I think of Floch as a character that's like "what if a traumatized person decided to lean into their worst possible survival instincts?" lol. I think he's a xenophobic POS but I also don't see how things could have gone any differently for him.
