Hey everyone! Let's leave some movie suggestions down below.
For this month, we'd like the suggestions to be NON ANIME as we've already done 3 anime movies in a row. We enjoyed all of them, but maybe we can change things up just a little this month for a bit more variety. We'll have the poll up in a few days!

Comments

Fenrir

Train to Busan

SourDiego

The Black phone , miracle in cell No.7,the lovely bones.also I will recommend 1anime movie is called wolf children

Mihai Sarbu

The Platform (2019) is really good if you don't mind that it is in Spanish or The Father (2020) that got Anthony Hopkins his second Oscar

Josh Knoebel

Princess Bride, if you haven't seen it already somehow. Second vote would be A Knight's Tale. Both classic comedies with well written dialogue, some romance, non-gory action, and fantastic acting all around.

Second A Knights Tale! 👍 Haven't watched it for years and don't know why! 😂 Time for something cheerful on the channel! Princess Bride is great as well! 👍

Meg B

I suggest either of these Park Chan-wook films: 'Oldboy' or 'The Handmaiden'

I would love some lighthearted entertainment and would vote for Hot Fuzz. Just switch of the brain and enjoy! 🤣🤣 Hilarious action scenes and great actors imo. Maybe not a popular film worldwide, so I will just leave the link to the trailer as well 😉 https://youtu.be/ayTnvVpj9t4

Bryonna Yates

Arrival is amazing. It's a sci-fi thriller! If youve seen that.... Then princess bride? Absolute classic.

I don't know about you guys, but i'm a sucker for Korean movies. If you guys haven't seen "Train to Busan" I highly recommend it! Definitely a good Korean Zombie movie, tugs at the heart strings and keeps you at the edge of your seat! Trailer if you guys are interested! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2nrE9JnaDg or If you're looking for an action packed movie, its kind of cheesy, but Pacific Rim is a pretty cool movie. Especially if you guys like AoT, since the movie is based on Giant Kaiju's attacking the earth. Humanity bands together for the JAEGER PROJECT, Giant Robots to combat them. Trailer if you guys are interested! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5guMumPFBag

I'd definitely recommend Parasite (2019)!! It's a great mix of tension + comedy and I think you guys would really enjoy it :)

The entire Cornetto trilogy would be awesome 😎 The Shaun of The Dead, Hot Fuzz and Worlds End. Absolute classics

Tien Nguyen

I;m just gonna put "Parasite" here, and hope it wins the vote this time @@

Simon

The Shawshank Redemption is great, but don't watch any trailers for it.

MARTIN DIVIRGILIO

I'm trying to think of something that will jibe with the Carli & Ange vibe. So off-center relevant, I'm talking on the Z axis or somewhere in-between. Like Dennis Hopper referring to Dean Stockwell as "So fucking suave!" in "Blue Velvet" but without the sinister undertones. I would like feel-good edgy, but I'm leaning to cerebral thriller, just to imagine C & A's banter. Have you seen "Gone Girl"? I know thats fairly current so you might have already. Have you seen "The Sixth Sense"? OR- ooh- from an Aussie director- comedy (somewhat spicy but not offensive) "The Little Death" 2014 directed by Josh Lawson. I hope you both laugh and smile and just be your "fucking suave" selves.

Leo

have you guys seen law abiding citizen?

Prism YT

parasite FTW

Luis..

I saw another comment recommending Everything Everywhere All at Once. Really chaotic enjoyable movie if you want a good laugh

Frozenbozo

Lately I've been enjoying some old school comedies Spaceballs being a classic along with Airplane both having great literal comedy that you don't see anymore

Jason
