Im so happy you are reacting to this so short after it came out. Personally I think this show is one of the best i‘ve ever seen. Your cover is fire ange! 🔥

schmitty

bruh ange's cover had my eyes waterin a little. SO EXCITED for you guys to get into this show! it has such an immersive intoxicating world

Nyte's Halo

So fun fact, this Cyberpunk genre and setting started as an RPG game setting in the late 80s. There are a few movies that you may know that can fall into the Cyberpunk genre, like Total Recall or Blade Runner. But there is one movie that definitely falls into Cyberpunk territory, which is Johnny Mnemonic. Second fun fact, Keanu Reaves starred in that movie, and coincidentally (or maybe not so coincidentally), He's also a main character in the Cyberpunk 2077 game

Hertog

The cover really hits different

Ivan

The cover is amazing Ange

Mario Ng

I went into a higher sstressful and depression mood for a whole week after I finished this show

Mario Ng

The original VAs fit the anime style better, I'll agree on that, but the slang hits way better with the dub, so it also lends itself to world building, at least to non-Japanese viewers.

I would usually agree that sub > dub but in case of cyberpunk, the dub is pretty good. And the slang and different dialects add a lot to the immersion.

Frozenbozo

Ange what an amazing cover!

Raden

Ya I'm usually a sub only watcher, bit theres always exceptions and Cyberpunk is one. This should only be watched in dub to understand and get the slang. Kaguya-Sama is another for the narrator🤣

Tyquez Campbell

Davids va is dub Tanjiro. Zen's dub is the school bully

Mr.Boxy

that cover hit so hard

I was almost going to say it but wasn’t 100% on it. I know those voices but didn’t want to look like an idiot lol
