Something to look forward to after work. 😃👍 THX

I think Ange is on to something and his ideas should be put in the future seasons xD

MADHOUSE

This was also one of my favorite episodes. Both halves of the episode are so wholesome. One thing to note: there's a Japanese word you guys will often hear in future shows, and from us viewers, and the word is "tsundere" (tsu-n-deh-reh). To explain, it's a character archetype; "tsun" comes from the ideophone "tsun-tsun" which means to have a prickly/irrititable attitude, and "dere" comes from another ideophone "dere-dere" which means to be madly in love. Basically, in anime, you'll notice a character say one thing, but their actions reflect the opposite, like where Becky seemed to reluctantly accept Anya's present while blushing. In that scene, Anya called Becky a tsundere. Just thought it'd be good/fun to know. Tsundere = 😣(on the outside)🥰(on the inside).

You guys missed the best line in the episode hahaha around 8:22

Thanks for this info dump! We like learning little bits of the language because we definitely do recognise some words and phrases now

Tia

This ep is one of my faves, it's so sweet

Amrith

So correct me if I am wrong. Obviously Jeeves is the butler from P.G. Wodehouse novels. But they needed an Alfred from Batman and they went with the mothers name instead for Becky's Caretaker?

Sydonis

Carlie fishing for some cake and Ange just completely walking over it, too focused on the Yor ship :-D

Craig Payne

Not to worry: the captions indicate that they recapped the conversation between Twilight and Yor (hopefully mentioning the bombing isn't too strong an indicator of growing up in Westalis).

Np. I always try to explain with as little text as possible, but it always ends up in paragraphs😆. I'll try to mention only the important terms like this so I don't bombard you guys with text 😅

Solid explanation and honestly Fiona is kind of the tsundere character type too. Basically just a softie and all gaga over Loid on the inside and very cold and distant on the outside

Thanks, I'm generally pretty bad at explaining things, so I appreciate that! About Fiona, you're not exactly wrong, but I think people see her more as a kuudere than a tsundere. Kuudere meaning the character shows a cool and aloof personality, which imo, Fiona fits the bill perfectly. On the other hand, she is super deredere on the inside, so she may come off as a tsundere at times. There's a lot of different types dere archetypes, which is very funny to me, but they're useful to know when categorizing characters😂

When you guys finish spy x family, you have to watch Kaguya sama: Love is War!
