Wonder if you guys ended up going with the sub or dub of Kaguya-sama. Its great either way, but the English narrator is so unhinged in the most amazing way. It absolutely needs to be experienced by everyone at least once

Kaguya Sama sub is the way I watched it and personally every character is better in sub over the English dub. The only good thing I liked in the dub version was the narrator.

the narrator in dub is just hilarious, almost puts an entirely different comedic spin on the show he did great with it basically making the narrator another character, but the sub is just the way to go with all other characters and the overall style the show goes for yea.

Hoping for 86 after you guys have finished watching these great shows!!

Also, any word on The Last of Us ep 8? :D

Is steins gate going to be fun or sub? Personally the dub is a masterpiece but either choice is fine :)

Ryan Ott

steins gate in dub PLEASE. I promise ya'll it will make the show not only much more digestible but genuinely more entertaining as well.

Alex

I’m stoked to watch steins gate with you two! Haven’t seen it yet so decided to wait and just watch along.

We’re watching it subbed however, we found it hard to digest the first few episodes so a change could happen in the future!!

Noctis

I would also suggest dub from as early as possible. No denying in sub being elite tier but this is one of the few shows where dub is on par with sub, main cast is just brilliant. Also some concepts used in the show are really complex. It's just that I want you guys to enjoy this masterpiece to It's fullest. So, its better to adjust to dub in the very beginning if possible

Switching half way through will draw a lot of pivotal moments and emotions from the characters

steins;gate sub is one of the most entertaining subs of any anime, the dub is great sure but then youre missing out on so much nuance with the japanese voice actors especially when it comes to Okabe, Mayuri, Faris, and Moeka. the whole hard to digest part is simply the premise of the show, of course any show involving time will be harder to understand fully on first watch. just my thoughts.

Totally agree, even the first time I watched it was in sub as well, but itd be a shame if you re strangled in the complexity of plot and missing out entertaining character interactions because in this show all those little interactions and conflicts are what makes this show a classic. whats the point in watching if you're gonna have doubts. Again I am only emphasizing on enjoying whatever way is easier to understand. My opinion dub is just as great as sub, so you should not worry about switching to dub. That's it if you guys are comfortable with sub that is even brilliant, Okabe's voice actor is one of my favorites since deathnote But dub also has a kinda emotional touch though
