Myles

The next episode is just 10/10 can’t wait for it

Gabriel Barott

Thick, fresh and hot. Sounds like a load of bullshit ;)

I heard you say that you listened to some of the new OP for S2 PT2. I hiiighly recommend listening to the full track after you do your reactions to the openings and endings! The whole thing is a banger

THICK ONE

Myles, all the episodes for the second half of the season past this point are ten out of ten lol.

Olmar really screwed the pooch, to be sure. He shot his shot, but couldn't bring home the bacon

Also, I see the full reaction for ep12 uploaded, but not the edited version. Will this be up soon?

Mukatutu

The synchronized "SIT DOWN" was gold.

I'm so glad Ange feels the same way about episode 9 as I do. It's not even among 'best anime' or 'best tv' episode for me, I think it's among my all time favorite pieces of media / narrative I've ever engaged with & it honestly means a lot to me personally. I feel like I could confidently suggest this show to anyone regardless of whether they are anime fan or not because of the quality of this episode & some others later in the season. I've watched y'all's reaction 3+ times alone lol 😬

- What I really like about the writing for Vinland Saga is how almost every character serves to illustrate a different idea Yukimura sensei is try to get across. You rarely come across a character with screen time that does not serve as an illustration of a human concept, and they are all very different. Even when he is portraying something distasteful, it is not done with biased commentary as much as it is with a perceptive and wary eye - Regarding ''Bug-eye'' Thorfinn I think its safe to assume that while Leif was looking for Thorfinn he encountered Bug-Eye who also matched Thorfinn's description. He may have grown attached to him and decided to adopt him.

I'm going back to rewatch some of these reactions and...I can't believe I didn't comment on this before, but Ange's pure and palpable disdain at Olmar when he says "You've disgraced yourself..and your family..." still has me dying 🤣 I need this to be a gif or meme or something
