So we decided to film an extra episode of Vinland Saga this week coz we had a bit of extra time. Turns out it was Season 2 Episode 17. Immediate regret.

Episode 17 is one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen.

Yea this episode took me by surprise when I watched it. No strong attachment to Gardar necessarily, but the piano ost really did wonders to make me care for Arnheid's grief. Plus, the whole message of the show permeating throughout just made it such a sad, but wonderful experience.

The music in ep 17 was just so good it broke me. It's from the season 1 album that you can find in spotify. Song name is Rusty Sword from Yutaka Yamada. Listen to it and just enjoy every second. Vinland saga has one of the best OST.
