Amazing pilot. Possibly the best we've seen. The next few episodes will be up at the end of the week 🙂

16:00 "Don't tell mom the babysitters dead", when ever i watch the first part of this I think of the I think it's "Look who's talking now" movies. Had a boy and girl talking babies.

Jacob Christoffersson

Ahh yes time to suffer some emotional damage again. Fun fact, the author originally wanted to make Kaguya Sama alot darker aswell but was adviced against it.

halfeldian

OMG finally i've been waiting! BTW Carlie the reason why nobody can check his old body was because it was in another town (where nobody can recognize Ai as he said), he can't travel to give info in a baby's body hehe

Night Sterling

I mean technically we didn't lie it is wholesome just with some very real themes sprinkled in. Welcome to the dark side of idol culture. You should definitely watch the dub version of the OP or at the very least with subs.

MoD+

Ep1 is just a Masterpiece and such an emotional rollercoaster. Nice reaction!

Raden

You guys signed up for a good time and a sad time. 🤣 Haven't been this hooked by a show in ep 1 since AOT. It throws such a curve ball and is multiple genres blended into one

Martina

I guess I'm the only one that thinks Oshi no Ko is kinda overrated haha. I mean it's still a good show. but I enjoyed Kaguya-sama much more.

vivy

Fun fact: the writer of oshi no ko is the same as kaguya sama

Halibel

it's funny you think that the writer has some shit going on but he wrote kaguya sama too lmao what change of genre can't believe kaguya is in this universe

Clayton

Whenever you see great, happy animation in Anime, NEVER, NEVER trust your thoughts about what genre it might be

Dan Millan

Oshi no ko and violet evergarden? Yea it’s only gonna be a sad time from here on out

Leo Zamudio

this pilot is truly one of the best oat

Same universe as one of the kaguya characters appear in a manga chapter

Sai Pavan

You should watch the OP with English subs now! You'll see it in a very different light.

Raul Velazquez

Had to pause the video to say ange you killed the cover!

Nah I agree too. It's not terrible, but it's way overhyped compared to Kaguya greatness

I think the first episode was amazing, and the animation and general adaptation is gorgeous, but yeah… the manga has just been a personal favorite of mine, definitely not an actual goated series or anything. Probably like an 8/10.

Kema

holy crap the intro cover for this hitsdifferent

Meka

44:00 since lies are love in this show, the evil viewers love you Ange 😄
