Definitely one of the better episodes of the season. Really loved Olmar and his role in the episode as well. Here is the link!

This is a suggestion. I think you should start Mushoku Tensei or ReZero after Vinland. Both of these anime have top notch story telling.

Well Olmar kinda deserved the shit he was given tbh but he redeemed himself here. I did see something like this coming because he was just childish and immature but getting into violence was clearly affecting him in this direction, but still loved it. We'll see next episode if Thorfinn wins the bet!

I'm sure Ketil saw more of himself in Olmar but it's also true that he should know Thorgill was a lost cause, so it's not like he had any other option anyway 🤣

Snake did say he owed Ketil so he's just gonna roll with what they say. He's job is to defend the farm after all but he clearly doesn't get any joy out of it. But Olmar is now the acting master of the farm and he commanded to surrender, so he really doesn't need to go fight with Thorgill anymore. An interesting character for sure, agreed on that one.

I think Ketil chose Olmar for practical reasons. Thorgil was off to war and was doing well and he's kinda scary so it's hard to convince him to stay and become a farmer. And Angelo is right: Last time Canute saw Thorfinn he scarred him for life. Who says Thorfinn isn't still out for revenge for Askeladds death like he was for Thors?
