lol All of the depictions of relationship dynamics between main characters in this show/manga range from weird to off-putting to straight up unethical... You are not alone for questioning it. Just don't think about it too much and you'll be fine. lmao

The relationships in this show are strange and it's not something to worry about too much. They're supposed to ride that conflicting and borderline uncomfortable line given the unique circumstances our protagonist is in so you're not sure who to ship him with cause one second you root for it and another you don't. Regardless, it's interesting so it makes for good tv lol
