This last arc was one to remember. What an amazing set of final episodes. We will be reacting to the OP's, ED's and bloopers next week. Hunter x Hunter will then be taking this time slot in a few weeks!

Charlotte PhD.

I was waiting all day for this😁!!!! Cannot wait to watch it!

Smash Bran'Discootch

HunterXHunter in a few weeks?! Well you've just guaranteed that I'm remaining a patron for the foreseeable future XD (please for the love of the gods, don't watch the hxh dub. There are some really good dubs out there, hxh is not one of them)

GraffitiTurtle

That confession scene between Winry and Ed is one of the most iconic moments in any anime

Martina

let's goo

Zeli

Yay! Can't wait to watch these in a little bit

beannieswife

omg can’t wait for the hxh journey!!

Danny C
>>117018808

Same, gotta finish work, but then these are getting binged ASAP

BBT

there is a fan theory that Roy didn't actually grow a mustache. Ed just vandalized the photo

BDMax

Question. How do you want to handle the covers for hxh? Since basicly it is only 1 opening song but it switches from 1st to 2nd verse every arc?. You wanna do some endings aswell?

Min Huang

Thank for the reactions. Will you react FMAB's OVA? There's 4 episodes. Each episode is short story. I really enjoy it hope you will like too. Love your reaction ♥❤

Driscollis

one of my absolute favorite things about FMAB is seeing how many people love Ho at the end of the show, because they ALWAYS dislike or hate him in the first half (as you're meant to, from the limited perspectives the show gives). he's such a greatly written character

Julio Virrueta

100/10 writing...." only human... unable to save a little girl"...

OJslashers1

I know it's been talked about a couple times, but the homonculi all having ironic deaths is perfect. Greed's death, in my opinion, is the best one. A being of pure greed died of self sacrifice, for the sake of everyone else but himself. It's just beautiful

DudeTrue

I still cry every time I watch these episodes. This show... I am humbled.

KaijinGarou

You can't just drop the last 3 episodes of FMAB this late in the day (in my country). You just messed my whole schedule up 😂😂

Terrence C

Al’s sacrifice gets me every time

DemoniCross

Glad you enjoyed it, I know for a fact you'll enjoy HxH too. This is my first time noticing Winry wasn't wearing her earrings when she welcomes them back...

Zeli

Ange you are not an embarrassment xD it was really funny that you got swindled not once but twice though. This was such a good episode glad to see you two love it so much

KaijinGarou

Don't worry, Carlie, Ange's girl Izumi is fine! 🤣

AttackRunRepeat

So sad to see it's over and I was crying right along with Carlie. I've seen this silly show about 10 times now... It still manages to get me right in the heart. I'm glad you two enjoyed it!

KaijinGarou

"What's wrong about seeking knowledge?" Well, the part of killing everyone 🤣

Charlotte PhD.

I've seen those episodes at least 10 times already and I still manage to cry everytime! The writing of this show is so very perfect. I'm so happy to have share this with you guys, thank you so much.

KaijinGarou

"What happened to Nina has stuck with Ed the whole time". Of course, it has stuck with me, imagine him! 🤣

KaijinGarou

Yeah, Greed and Bradley are my favorite homunculi too, followed by Envy and Lust (in the original she's even more involved in the plots and a greater strategist. Also, she's a 12/10, there's no denying that's part of it) 🤣

CastSenpai

Ange has been absolutely legendary during this series, especially the latter half. From the rage at Selim/Edison to the theory misses. Glad you guys loved it so much. Incredible series through and through :D

Amrith

What an absolutely strong finish for a show and I think I love the show even more now thanks to your excellent reactions. My favorite characters were constantly changing every 10 episodes that I completely gave up listing out a top 5 🤣 but I think both your lists are on point. Bittersweet moment that this show has come to an end.

Revert AatrØx

If you get a chance, definitely check out the bloopers.

KaijinGarou

I didn't remember they never showed Roy and Riza kissing. We had to see his mustache though. That's just wrong 😑 but a perfect last episode otherwise.

Jason

Legend says the last thing Winry said in the show has done more damage than anything else to all the Otakus' feelings😂 If there's a way to delete my memories of a show so that I can experience it again for the first time, FMAB is definitely gonna be the one for me. Watching you guys wrapped up a long series is so satisfying, thank you for the reaction! P.S. Oh and I think you guys might have missed it, there was a very tiny mention of Ho in the end credit, there was a photo showing he was buried next to Trisha, and maybe because like you said it was meant to be a feel-good episode, they dedicated the whole ED to him in ep63 rather than putting him in the last ep.

OmniBlazer

Ho wasn't mentioned in the last EP, but we see Ed progressively looking more and more like Ho throughout the episode, with the pony tail, coat and briefcase and all. And I think that says it all about how Ed feels towards Ho. You guys have been fantastic!

KaijinGarou

I'm sure Ange loved theorizing about the show but not so much getting the answers to his theories 🤣. It was great rewatching this with you. Loved your reactions. I kinda had forgotten how this last fight went exactly. TBH just throw shit to Father until he runs out of energy was a little underwhelming end to it for me even if it makes sense but I prefer when there's more strategy involved than that. They more than made up for it with the conclusions to the character arcs and their last epic moments though. Remains one of the greatest anime of all time.

Ang

Ange you just need to lean into the meme. Start a sports betting business and guarantee your customers that you will get every result exactly wrong. That's as useful as 100% correct predictions anyways. Looking forward to the launch of Ange and Carlie's sports book

Ang

Al the GOAT tour finally finished. The English voice actor for Ed said once that the main theme of the show is sacrifice, and boy did Al exemplify it in 62. As for Hohenheim, I see his finally message as - this is enough. He always felt cursed with his immortal body, and at the final moment when he was free from his curse and able to reunite with Trisha again, he has finally gained what he wanted, even enough to want to continue living, but I think he truly just wanted to be with Trisha. Really sad it's over but happy to have gone through this journey with you two. The reactions were great!

Fajar Kurniawan

you notice it too, 'father' portal of truth is plain. while other alchemist has decorated door with knowledge. all these times, He learned nothing. that's why the door is blank.

Ricardo Lopez

Fun fact winry and Ed's voice actors are married in real life

Fajar Kurniawan

Truth offers what will Ed choose as the payment this time. Usually Truth just randomly take body parts without consent. That's because Ed is loyal customer who keeps coming back.

NikoCat11

It was a great ride! Thanks! I can't wait for you guys reacting, eventually (lol), to "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann"! Oh, I can't wait for HxH next week too!

Matthias
>>117035844

gurenn lagann is one of the most stupidly epic and unique anime ever made but sadly I don't think we'll ever get a chance to se them react to it. A lot of viewers never seen it and would be (wrongly) put off by that suggestion because it is from 2007.

Chonkolorian

Fun fact the only reason ED and Winry didnt kiss is because the author didnt know how to draw people kissing at the time.

Zana

Carlie screaming in end of the ship is amazing. what a journey guys. this 3 episode was just amazing and so many epic moment. really glad you guys enjoy the show. the theory from episode 1 till the end have been fun. 10/10 show for me. I watch this show in high school and still after 10 years, still give me goosebumps and all of the feels. Really2 great show.

Conni Coros

The hat Roy was using at the ending photo, was the Fuhrer's hat. Meaning he did become the Fuhrer eventually.

mohamed rafee

Hope you guys watch classroom of the elite! One of the best shows I have watched (it’s a slice of life/mystery anime) and season 3 is coming out on 2024 Jan, and it has an amazing loyal fanbase. Hope you guys react to it soon!!!

kim odejar

Please react to the fmab bloopers

Sarahi Luna

This is sad that its over but it was a great journey!! The moment when Al sacrifices himself always makes me cry. Btw nice that u noticed the difference from Eds portal to the flask. Im dying to see your reactions to the openings. I don't know if u noticed also that in the family picture was also Mei. MeixAlphonse

Surgenium

Thanks for letting us watch this fantastic show with you two! It was like getting to watch it again for the first time. Excellent work on the covers, Ange. If you haven't watched them yet, please consider adding Avatar The Last Airbender and Dororo for future polls. They're relatively short, and the structure of these series are similar to FMAB. The world building is expertly established, great pacing, and they each progress with their endings in mind.

Elaine Hu

tears through all 3 eps every time. great series, great reaction!

Danny C

“This is how I thought he always was, Carlie.” This truly was in Ange’s top 10 anime betrayals 😂 Sad that this series is over but glad we got to rewatch it with you guys!

imcalledgpk

Ange is absolutely correct that they handled it a bit differently in the manga. Hohenheim gets a nice 3 page sendoff including a reunion with Trisha. The only thing is that I think they felt like that would be too "supernatural" for the animation, so they kept it as the intimate moment at the gravesite.

Shivam Bansal

Thanks a bunch for reacting to this amazing series. Such a great journey watching it again with you guys. Much appreciate all the hard work you've put into all these videos!

Li Hong

In the ending of episode 64, the first picture close-up shows Pinako in the graveyard and behind her are Hohenheim's headstone next to Trisha's. Since Pinako is in the picture, someone else must have taken the photo. It's likely Ed or Al because it would be weird to set up Hohenheim's grave without informing the brothers.

정빈 이

Great ending! Happy to see all the journey with you two!

Li Hong
>>117022205

I really wish Ho would at least return home once a year. Ed might still dislike him but Trisha would appreciate one last look before she passes away.

Carbon

When Alex thanked Hohenheim, I think he was actually relieved. He just had a flashback about being in prison/about wanting to be free. And he's always considered himself still imprisoned after all theyears. But after hearing about his boys' achievements, I think he was able to feel like he still lived a life worth living because his "freedom" was what enabled him to have great sons and he was reminded that he had them with someone he loves.

K_How

While Ho might not have been mentioned in the last episode, take a look at the very last image of the show. It’s a picture of traveling Edward and you can see the resemblance.
