mvp to me was mechamaru/kokichi too. he was the mole but my takeaway from this fight existing is that it was his way of atoning. he desperately wanted a normal life with his friends thus sold info to the enemy, and immediately tried to right that by taking on mahito. him putting up an excellent fight and facing death in order to see his friends for real made him MVP to me.

Mahito MVP easily for me. Dont get me wrong i like the heroes in shows but alot of times i always end up loving the villains more and Mahito is a good evil villain, no morally gray reasoning where you can kinda see where he's coming from sorta thing just straight up pure evil and he knows it and owns it.

He put the Veil up after mecha got into is robot. He could have escaped after the army of mechas Attacked Mahito in the last Episode. Even Mahito said That He escaped. Put richtig in the next second mechamaru Attacked in his Robote

I imagine they just mean with the visualization of some cursed techniques. There are some super out-there ones that aren't even really visualized well in the manga because its just difficult to really capture. Hard to explain without spoiling with specifics though.

Creative freedom in using a variety of animation styles and techniques, since the animators each have their distinct approaches. Ange noted the more vibrant colour pallet in this episode - that's just one example.
