We're trying a few things with the timer in the top right! Let us know if it made syncing up easier.
This phase has been our favourite so far in the series! Hisoka trying to get the channel demonetised

Night Sterling

Y’all havent seen anything from hisoka yet 😂

Smash Bran'Discootch

We are FEASTING today! It's going to be awesome to see your reactions once the show actually starts!

Skyrus

Hisoka got 6 points: -His targets tag: 3 points -The tag Kurapika gave him: 1 point -The tag that the needle-mole-person gave him: 1 point -And the tag he got by the target he killed while Gon stole his tag from him: 1 point

one of the reasons i love hxh reactions is bc ppl think they know what the show is about and then BOOM just straight peak

Astor Lefflinker

LOL at "nail file". It took me several seconds to get it. Also, since we're already discussing covers for this anime, I would like to put this out there. I hope Ange covers this song from episode 39. It's the opening song of the 1999 HxH anime for that particular arc, and is one of the best HxH songs out there. Here's the video of it, it's the band's music video, not the anime one, so it's safe from spoilers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5JC0kRViUE

Smash Bran'Discootch

Okay so it should be stated for the record that Hisoka isn't specifically into little boys. Like he isn't a Nail File XD. That doesn't make him any less problematic, it's just his thing is strong fighters or fighters with massive potential. It just so happens that in this case those strong fighters with massive potential just happen to be 12 year old boys. Still SUUUUUUPER problematic, just in a different way. He also is a stone cold killer with incredibly intense compulsions that he is unable to resist. Mainly the murdery kinds. When they get strong enough he goes kind of feral, as you've seen here.

Really appreciate the timer, thanks so much!

morena

Hisoka showing that "bloodloss" is also "aura". We all have that in us human beings, when we're mad, angry, happy, or sad we can sense that individuals feelings and we try to reciprocate it depending on how we perceived it. Hisoka showed "malice" and Gon's reply was "fear".

Dramamean

Thank you so much for the timer!

Master Nayan

Hisoka is certainly wierd when they depict him being creepy, but I don't think its ever a nail file thing, but more of him being turned on by how good the fight will be once other people reach their true potential, which Hisoka can sense.

Shaw

The timer for episode 16 is 5 seconds ahead.

Shaw

Hisoka got 6 points. His target's and the 3 other 1 pointers.

aeriss eon

it's a good decision to skip 13. Right on! ^^

ThaDoubleB

The sound design is super cool. You can hear the guy with the huge nose's footsteps butHisoka's own footsteps are completely silent. Killua's footsteps are always noticeably silent, throughout almost all of the series. Hisoka has six points: His target's (3pts.) the tag he got from the big nose guy who he decapitated (1pt.) the tag he got from Kurapika (1pt.) and the tag he got from his "friend" (1pt.)

Hello guys, am new to patreon and i have no idea on how to sync up the media with their reaction. If any can explain it to me it would be very helpful.

You pull it up on Crunchyroll (at least that's what I used) and sync your timing up with theirs. The timing for episode 16 was a few seconds off, though, so you had to play your version a few seconds behind what their timer said, otherwise, you just match your copy with theirs. Easiest way was to look at the timing of subtitles changing to make sure you were exactly where they were.

Carlie & Ange

We realised that the timer we used may have been different to the website our editor uses, so in the next batch, the timer should be representative of the crunchyroll timer! That should also translate well to other streaming services as well

SanteRip

No cover for the first ending then? :,(

Philipp Scheuer

Oh my god... without giving it a single thought I said "KURAPIKA!" when Ange said his name the normal way in ep 15 discussion. I never said it that way before and it came out so fast, like a reflex. I was so surprised 😂

emma

I'm actually so grateful that y'all are reacting to this, because it motivated me to continue watching (I was stuck on ep16 for like 3 years lmao😭). I have now reached episode 31, and I'm enjoying it so much.

Aizensalami

Hisoka has 6 points already: His Target (the guy who poisoned Gon): 3 The point Kurapika gave him: 1 The point Needle Mole gave him: 1 The point he took from the guy he killed as Gon was taking his tag: 1

To add to what Seifren said, you can also use shot-changes to make sure you're synced up perfectly. If I notice my video is ahead of/behind theirs, I'll tap the play button off and on and check with the next cut. Keep doing so until they're both synced up. It might sound tedious but it's mad easy.

The man can't cover every single song every show has lol. I actually find it really weird that people were complaining about the possibility of their reactions having the same OP cover throughout the entire anime. Who cares? If the show itself has the same OP throughout its entire run why should we be bothered by their reactions having the same cover?

The Great Santini

Oh Ange you say you're interested in the whole "concealing your presence" bit? And also the "murderous intent/bloodlust" that Hisoka showed? Wonderful. Just you wait! Oh yeah and about Hisoka's "vibes..." Let's just say we're all creeped out by him. Great character, though.
