beannieswife

oh i'm diving into this RN🕺 thanks!! ♡

Astor Lefflinker

Was being lazy at work but now I have a reason to finish it faster so I can watch these reactions

ThaDoubleB

Hisoka is a predator in every sense of the word.

Skyrus

I expected everything today but certainly not a surprise HxH upload, thanks guys!

Zeli

Yea we need Chris Hansen to stop this man Hisoka

Martina

I'll watch it after work but the title alone killed me 🤣

Smash Bran'Discootch
>>123391441

I didn't have any issues with it. I'm watching it on my web browser instead of the patreon app. I don't think that makes a difference, but you might try that?

Night Sterling

Ah yes the famous or I guess infamous schwing scene 😂 anime back then had no fear

Uchiha With Some Gas

yeah, i’ve been for this since you started your anime journey, IKUZOOOO

Dudas_xD

You be hating on my man hisoka?😂😂😂

Nick

LMAO the notepad and excel will be getting fully utilized after this ep.

Smash Bran'Discootch

"We have seen Killua kill people, but he's really trying to cut back" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am WHEEZING

Astor Lefflinker

Oh man, I just finished 33-34 and I love that you already grasp the use of aura so well. Yes, if you focus your aura on a specific part of your body, like eyes in the case of 'gyo', the other parts of your body will have no aura for defense, so nen fighters have to be smart when to use 'gyo'. Also, yes, the Killua torture training was a good callback, but there's also a reason why Gon's fishing rod doesn't break. That's why I recommended the 1st episode of the 1999 version in the Golden Jellie recommendations for November as that episode tackles that as well as a certain character that Gon met in his childhood. The 2011 version cut those parts but it's how the manga starts so I really hope you watch it.

Smash Bran'Discootch

Also, I'm calling it now: Ange is an ENHANCER Carlie is an EMITTER(maaaaaaaaybe a conjurer)

★Cygne

LMAOOO Ange covering his eyes with the headphones during The Scene was literally me when i showed my friends the anime I WAS SO EMBARRASSED i swear its only weird a few times and its always hisoka's fault 😭😭😭😭 but its a great show !!! 😭😭😭 i swear !!!!

Astor Lefflinker

The white haired pretty man that suddenly appeared is indeed a gag. Apparently he's a character in another one of Togashi-sensei's manga. In the 1999 version, they used Togashi's avatar instead, a dog character with glasses lol Also I'd say that Ange is an emitter or a manipulator while Carlie is a conjurer or enhancer.

beannieswife

be prepared for future hunterpedias😭 theres a few more problematic ones, counting the one for ep 35💀 yeah so be careful with those lmao

Dramor Night

PLEASE you guys need to keep the hisoka Moan audio everytime you use a word like "desire" "craving" "ache", etc, even in other series reaction, that .5 second audio is so good hahaha Thanks for the reaction! I feel like you guys are already getting really into it when it comes to your post analysis! It is a wild ride but it keeps getting better! Thanks again guys!

Kaiser the Elitist

You'll be happy to know that Hisoka's shwinging moments are very far and few between overall. Getting my body prepared for the next arc...

Jason Serrano

ASHDJASHDJSHJH It's here! LMAOOOO

Uchiha With Some Gas

don’t get everything too close to heart, hisoka being like this is just jokes and he doesn’t mean any sexual context, almost💀

Maxine

just non-spoiler slight clarifications: Netero isn't Wing's master, but the master of the Shingen-ryu technique that included the water divination test! And remember Hisoka was tracking them and knew Gon was at the arena to train to challenge him, but Hisoka said he would only accept the challenge if Gon managed a win in the 200s - which he did against the bully trio! Also Wing deserves an apology for all the suspicions y'all put on that sweet man!

Leah

Yes!!! Wasn’t expecting this today! I have a recommendation if you keep doing 2 episodes in one going forward - I would do a set of 3 (ex: 37 & 38, and a solo 39) so you switch to ending on off episodes for the next while. I think your viewing experience will really be benefit from it.

Elrond

In the next arc, there are a few characters that served as inspiration for Attack on Titan. Let's see if you can spot them! :)

Deathonater5

omg when i heard hisoka in the discussion portion I lost it

Lauren

Oh it's finally here! The infamous Schwing! Hisoka makes it so hard to like his character at times

Aizensalami

The audio effects in these reactions killed me! 😂😂😂😂

Smash Bran'Discootch
>>123397279

Oh? I'd figure with his tendency to hold grudges, enhancer fits better. Emitters are quick to anger, sure but they also get past it really quickly and don't hold grudges.

Martina
>>123397279

Ange holding grudges? have you seen how quickly he went from hating other teams in Haikyuu to loving them? :D

Martina
>>123402077

yes, it's so cringe when an anime is great but then there's a couple of random ass weird scenes. this one at least makes sense for Hisoka's character. my fav anime is Jojo but I can never recommend it to Carlie and Ange because there's too many questionable scenes 😭😭

Mekhi

Whenever I showed my friends this show, I'd be like "yea Hisoka's a pretty cool character I like him... BUT- " Big emphasis on the but

Daamon

Hisoka: I can hardly wait I didnt understand that line watching as a kid, now I do

Shaw

Hisoka is easily one of my favorite villains. SCHWINNGGG!!!

Oussema Ajal

remember during the hunter exam interviews, when Hisoka was asked who he wanted to fight the most, he talked about the main characters for a bit but then he said if he was to be truthful he would've liked to fight Netero the most

souma shou

Don't let the SCHWIIIINNG distract you from the fact that bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum

Decaf

Well, he isn't the only one with something that expands and contracts.

mohamed rafee

HAHAHAHAHA THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE REACTIONS EVERERRR HAHAHAHAHA🤣🤣🤣

The Great Santini

Aw, Carlie don't worry about the actual terms for the techniques. As long as you understand THAT the characters can use these certain techniques I think that's all that matters. I watched the series in the past and I forgot the actual names of the techniques lol. Understanding them is what matters. Great reactions!

SanteRip

These reactions were amazing lmao

Sammie

I'm sorry you had to watch that uncomfortable scene! That loose unit is obsessed with power and potential so he loses his sh*t. Sweet Carlie's face during that scene made me sad! But I hope the next arc will make it up for you!! And btw you don't have to worry about the different nen categories and all that stuff, things keep repeating and you will learn as you watch the show.. They do a good job explaining them throughout the show. Love your reactions as always!!

aubrey !!
>>123407961

this isnt true at all LOL hisoka gets sexual gratification from it. he's not joking

JadonTheEternal

something something bungee gum. Hisoka is a fucking creep, which is unfortunate because he is also a great character in HxH that has good writing, amazing scenes, and an undeniable presence when he's the subject of focus

JadonTheEternal

I'm gonna be honest, I always loved HxH, but this episode, and specifically the final sequence between Gon and Hisoka is what truly hooked me to the point of binging the rest of the series within 3 or so weeks. Such an epic moment, and yet only a fraction of what comes later.

Phil

Hisoka belongs in a jail cell man. I've seen "the scene" atleast like 5 times but I'm shocked every single time. SCHWING

The Great Santini

Hahaha poor Carlie. Welcome to ANIME baby lol. Don't worry, you're supposed to be creeped out by Hisoka's behavior. It's not like the anime is saying that it's "ok" or anything lol. I have to say though, I was DYING watching that scene and your reactions to it. It's just so over the top that it becomes hilarious as opposed to disturbing. On a more somber note: Judging from Carlie's reaction to this, I honestly don't think y'all would be able to handle Mushoku Tensei if you ever did get around to watching it. If you thought the "SCHWING" scene was uncomfortable? There are a handful of scenes in MT that are even more so. Doesn't change the fact that it's a masterpiece anime, though.

Uchiha With Some Gas
>>123407961

there is a sexual context and it was made on purpose i’m saying that hisoka doesn’t mean it in that way, but only if we don’t consider that scene in greed island💀

Pleinee

Hi. Is every uncut reaction are only to subtitles with no sound and visual? Do I need to watch on youtube if I want to see the anime too? Sorry, I'm new to this tier.

Xan

Where is the next episode? guys I need to see more commitment...

Astor Lefflinker
>>123968883

They promised a weekly drop, they didn't promise which day of the week. Sometimes they drop as early as Thursday night, sometimes they drop Saturday night. What's sure is we get a weekly batch. Have patience, choom.

Astor Lefflinker
>>123753423

Yes, because uncut reactions are too risky when it comes to copyright. You have to sync your own copy to the copy they're watching. Luckily it's much easier now because they now have a timer.

Marley

note on hisoka - he isn't necessarily a p3do, he's just very turned on by fighting, powerful opponents, blood, gore, all that stuff. it's not that he's specifically attracted to children, thankfully you'll see later on in the show, he gets turned on by violence and power in general. he does make multiple comments that make him seem more like a p3do though, but i think he's just really weird and doesn't care at all about how his actions make people uncomfortable. there is one scene eventually that makes everyone think he's definitely a p3do (yes it's worse than the schwing) but when you get to that i'll explain why other people think he actually did it however, he's still really creepy and never fails to make me cringe away from my screen :') really interesting character! if he was real i would slander him but he's fictional and he makes the show super entertaining so i feel like i can defend him lol

Marley

also idk if i just missed it but if you haven't already commented on it, the zoldyck theme is so sick!

remvrk
>>124026634

nah he a pedo there's a certain episode where he's checking out gon & killua

Marley
>>124026634

spoilers, but that was the moment i mentioned -- a lot of people think he did that so they would make him walk in front. obviously still a very questionable way to go about doing that

Toasted Toad
>>124026634

P$do definition is a preference for pre-pubescent children. That's not Hisoka. He has a sexual preference for anyone strong enough to suit him. His preference is not for pre-pubescent Gon. He wants him to be older and stronger. That's the reverse of p$do (although he's still totally turned on by the potential). He likes him (and Killua) *despite* the fact that they are kids, not *because* of it. Don't get me wrong. That doesn't detract from the fact that Hisoka is a MASSIVE PERVERT. It just changes the nature of his perversion. SPOILER Plus he shows many times the same reaction to adults. So the fact that Gon and Killua are children are children is not a sign of his sexual preferences.
