i fricking love u guys for getting right into it haikyuu is my heart

FTN Chicken

If you're curious about the Benkei line from episode 1, it's a bit of deep cut reference from Japanese folklore/history Ushiwaka is the name of one of the most famous samurai in Japan. Benkei is the name of another warrior, who was one of Ushiwaka's right-hand men. Ushiwaka and Leon are the two wing-spikers/aces of the Shiratorizawa team, so they are like a pair of warriors.

Mohamed Ghaly

FYI, the voice actore for the coach passed away before this season, that is why his voice is different

Hertog

Love the energy from this reaction. Can't wait for the next ones that will be the most hype

Smash Bran'Discootch
>>123653456

We still Have Kazunari Tanaka for this season until the last episode. His incredible last line is this season. From the last episode of this season until the end, Hisao Egawa took over. A lot of people responded negatively because the voices are so different, but he's the one Tanaka-san asked to take over.

noya22
>>123653456

no, he was able to record only until ep 8 of s3 before he passed away

noya22

i wish people stopped hyping up certain episode numbers lol

miri

MY BOY SATORI HAS ENTERED THE CHAT !

Rae

PLEASE make an extra video about how much you love Haikyuu after you finish the whole thing! I would watch the hell out of that.

86 LilaS

Ni-san is big brother and ne-san is big sister. They do call people they're closer to this way, but it's also a cultural norm to say it to complete strangers. I've called people I've never met auntie and uncle.

SoySauce

one of your best reactions

beannie

the cover was magnificent ange!! omg these are probably some of my favorite reactions from you guys, and don't worry carlie, i bawl my eyes out for absolutely anything in this show too😭 we're finally getting some tendo screen time! one of the most interesting characters imo, can't wait for next episodes!!

april 🍏

I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE. Season 3 is my faveee.

Girish

I love the excitement Carlie and Ange are showing!!! I am very excited for what's about to come!!!! The endings of both these episodes gives me chills everytime - Noya's Well hello, left and Tendou's you have to beat me first.

Amine Bhl

Ladies and gentlemen, we made it. Legendary reaction from you guys, and we're all thankful for the surprise today! Ange just goes and does it again, what a damn cover... <3 HYPEKUU!! SUPREMACY

Ginta Liepiņa

The cover was soo great!! Thank you for the early episodes!

Belinda

IT'S HAPPENING

april 🍏

dont be shy... drop the next 8 episodes.. haha just kidding 😂 unless....👀

bebe

ditto on the previous cmmt, we all know u want to finish s3 in one sit. come on do it.

bebe

anyway tendo and goshiki slaying alongside with ushijima 😏

Sharles Davis Kendy

"It's gonna be hard to top that Seijoh rematch." Haikyuu: "Challenge accepted."

# vivi

WOO I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS SEASON!!!! and for you guys to get to know the other team as well :D Tendou is my favorite player from Shiratorizawa so I'm extra hyped for the following eps hehe

Mikaela

TENDOU IS HERE!!!❤❤❤

Mikaela

The cover was amazing Ange!!!

Kevin Campos

This show is just intensity.

Nagi

season 3 is great, but season 4 is my fav season by far.

MrYinYang

Tendo (Red hair guy) has the same VA as Todo (from JJK). doesn't sound the same but most VA's have various range. Tendo is an entertaining villain

Rae

Noya does call Saeko (Tanaka's sister) Ne-san, which means sister. Ne-san is pronounced NAY-sahn, while Ni-san (brother) is pronounced NEE-sahn. So Ange was very correct in his observation!

Sharles Davis Kendy

There is no shame is saying Haikyuu is the best show on the channel. Haikyuu is absolutely peak anime.

Cactuar Nick

Thank God! I'm not trying to trauma dump or seek sympathy, but I have not been doing well these past few weeks and suffering hard from some seasonal depression and this is one of the few things that I look forward to, watching Haikyuu with you two. I'm going to be sad when it's over but hopefully we can get more of that energy during Blue Lock. Ange I can tell you're really going to love it.

V D

Several things: Noya does indeed refer to Saeko as "nee-san" which is how a little brother would refer to his older sister. He very much looks up to and is fond of her. That player introduction destroyed me the first time I saw it. It was like I was watching my children on the stage. I'm so proud of all of them Lastly, the cover was a banger. You guys are doing phenomenal jobs.

Aizensalami

Come On !!! Can't wait for more episodes... keep them coming! Ushiwaka is different.... he's a CANON!

Cactuar Nick

Oh fuck man, Ange shredding the new intro got me choking up, and then I saw Nobara peeking from the poster behind him.....

Sharles Davis Kendy

The strategy of using the block to narrow a spike towards a receiver was used against Hinata of all people. Now Hinata is faster than Ushijima so a three person block isn't likely, but he's also much weaker so it wasn't quite as needed. Seijoh used one blocker to prevent Hinata from using the cross and it made his spike a lot easier to receive. The show routinely has Karasuno pick up strategies their opponents used.

David!

No chance this came this early. LETS GO BAYBEEEEE THOSE ARE MY GOATS RIGHT THERE 🐐🐐

Maxine

*evil kermit meme* "binge the whole season" 😂

Martina

Ange becoming THE SHREDDED?

Edward Michaelle

im joining in the Haikyuu smash challenge. I don't mean to brag, but I've been smashing...that like button each time I watch your videos. sometimes I do it twice just coz. I don't care if that cancels it out. jk

souma shou

Guys there is a small extra scene in this season as well from the movie. its only 2 minutes so you can react to it after you finish the season

SomeChosen One

The cover is great! Excited to see the reactions :D

bebe
>>123662025

villain ahaha if anyone can be named villain in haikyu he would take the crown lol

Floch

Bro I can’t wait another week to watch more of your guys reactions to this 😭

googlek1 .
>>123674158

I swear... I'm trying to keep calm, not say anything, and wait for their reactions.

the grafted

i dont know about your intro outro system lol but you should watch this outro. its really good and unique

Tylo

Carlie tearing up in the first 20 seconds of Episode 1 and Ange being inspired in real life to do more gym stuff is just so amazing to see. That's exactly what this show does to people, I can't explain it either. The whole package is just amazing in this show. That Tier list placement will hunt you forever Carlie :D

Luís

I FUCKING LOVE YOU GUYS FOR THIS DROP

Jordy_EMS

any objections to a Haikyuu week????

PJ

The best Haikyuu season!

Joie Dianzon 🇵🇭

Season 3 is definitely a fan favorite. If you want to watch a real life volleyball game where you can see the actual techniques used by our boys come into play, watch the Japan Volleyball Team matches. ❤️ Also, the mangaka used to be a volleyball player and he created Haikyuu to encourage young people to consider joining it as their club or increase the interest for the game. When Haikyuu started, Japan’s volleyball interest spike up to 200%. ❤️

Luís

Two pretty cool details about these two episodes: 1. Ushijima's first spike ending episode 1 was the first time during this show that Nishinoya was unable to receive a serve/spike head-on. Every other time he wasn't able to receive it was because he didn't have time to properly position himself on the ball's path. 2. Tendo (red-haired guy from Shiratorizawa) saw Hinata's minus-tempo quick a single time, and was able to block him on the second try, the only one that was able to do that before was Lev, and that was before Hinata came up with the reformed quick were he can properly maneuver the ball on the air.

le

The best haikyuu season argue with the wall!!

le

I love Tendou so much he literally is one of the most entertaining characters in the entire show

Luís

The "Benkei" shit it is sort-of a joke based on japanese folclore. I didn't go deep into it, but I know it's a tale about two warriors named "Ushiwaka" and "Benkei", which the name "Ushijima Wakatoshi" seems to be heavily based upon. Hinata probably thought the guy looked like the depiction of "Benkei", which was close to his mind since they are facing Ushiwaka, and then got surprised/disappointed when he found out the guy's name is Leon.

Charlotte PhD.

Please please please I need the 2 next eps asap!!!! Oh my god I cannot wait, I'm so excited! Seeing you cheering up for the team at the beginning was everything that I hoped for! I'm addicted to your haikyuu reacts! I want mooooore, I need mooooore! You guys are the best!

MADHOUSE

Amazing intro cover as always! Gets me just as hype as the original does. Carlie tearing up not even a minute into episode 1 was sweet. Haikyuu may not have been her favorite show during the tier list video, but it may be safe to say that it is now. Ya'll have the right amount of energy during the player introductions lmao. That "BOO!!!" from Ange... I felt that 😂 Not sure if someone mentioned this already, and I don't want to bring your guys' tension down, but please take in coach Ukai's voice as much as possible this season, especially since you guys enjoy his character a lot. His VA, Kazunari Tanaka, passed away during the production of this season, and so his voice actor will change in a later episode. The new VA does a great job, but it will be different. Just thought I'd let you two know so you don't get caught off guard.

iice woy

I binged watching season 3 in 1 day

Bibi

don't get me wrong season 3 is amazing but season 4 is what solidified Haikyuu as my favorite anime of all times 🙏

storm (kasey) !
>>123689916

i didnt dislike the art style change in s4 as it brought some of the art a little closer to how the manga looks, but it kills me that the quality had to suffer alongside it due to how coronavirus impacted the production of the season </3 i hope the new style gets to shine better in the movie!!

storm (kasey) !

LOVE the cover!! so good :D this season never fails to hype me up, each episode has me feeling like i need to run around the block LOL

jul ☽

I’m so happy I haven’t seen anything past season 2, so I can share this experience with you 😭 These episodes were SO GOOD!!! Hyped

wicecakes

I just realised what the next drop of eps is gonna be. my god iykyk

Bibi
>>123689916

@Josh Knoebel tbh I am the type of person who doesn’t really care for animation and season 4 was being animated during covid so I understand the animation change...season 4 is still (in my opinion) the best season in terms of story, character development, hype, payoff, etc 😊

angelalala

That op cover was as hype as the episode!

Momo

I loved your cover of this op, especially the last bit was great!! Season 3 is amazing and it gets me really hyped, but season 4 is my favourite, it just hits me emotionally on a whole other level. And rewatching (or rereading) season 4 after finishing the manga makes it even better. Curious which reactions you watched lol

Ludy

insane OP cover!!!! amazing as always! the feral love i feel for this fictional team is real Carlie lmaooooo what a mood! so hype for more eps thank uuuuuu

bebe
>>123689916

season 4 is my main arc despite the lack of smooth animation like previous seasons do. i love everything about s4.

Alejandro Reyes

is there no reaction to the OP? Killed the cover btw!!!

Bibi
>>123771419

if you are asking about season 3 OP they already uploaded their reaction :)

Mel

Literally it’s so hard to sit still while waiting for next uploads… please tell me I’m not the only one rewatching the reaction multiple times while waiting for those to come. P.S. Still can’t get over the fact that Tendou and Todo from JJK share the same VA like… how?! It’s a math isn’t mathing type of situation for me lol.

bebe
>>123879720

i am waiting everyday for them to drop more haikyu

Jen Li
>>123664234

She also asked Hinata and Kageyama to call her Saeko neesan when she picked them up after their exam to go to Tokyo. She's everyone's big sis. I love her!
