I'm so hyped!! Love when you guys cheers and yell.. It's funny..

Funny you brought up a live action version because there is one! There is a series of stage plays called Hyper Projections Gekidan: Haikyu!! (Or Gekidan Haikyu!! for short). I absolutely LOVE the stage plays as much as the anime and manga. I provided a link to some highlights from the first stage play, which takes place from s1 ep 1 until about s1 ep 8 or 9. https://youtu.be/U83x8-VlC8c?si=sj-8KV1rr3er_Jfd

Guys there is a small extra scene in this season as well from the movie. its only 2 minutes so you can react to it after you finish the season

Nee-san does mean older sister! You were right Ange!

lilyveil133

season 3 is insane and my favorite and I can't wait to see your thoughts! I subscribed to the Patreon because your reactions have been helping me through so much work burnout and seasonal depression, I'm so excited for you both to experience the pure hype of season 3!

harexx

tanakas the best. the way he high fived kiyoko so soflty and absolutely smashed ukai and takedas hands. anges booo nearly took him out hahah

Rumple

Cover was great, btw they actually did a haikyuu play in japan

jediburrito

Noya calls her oneesan which means older sister. Could mean step sister which comes back later in the season when Saeko gets stuck in a dryer

Lol I could feel the hype you guys were feeling even though I've watched this season several times (more than the others, I just really love it). I especially love you guys hyping up the players during their intros. It was such a nice touch from the animation team to make the high-fives distinct for each character -- like Tanaka being gentle with Shimizu but slapping the hell out of Ukai and Takada's hands or Ukai playfully bringing it up high for Hinata. Or the players' expressions when they're running to their places, that awkward but earnest kind of expression that young students have when they're at a big event where people are watching them. It's so cute and nostalgic. Haikyuu is really good at those small character moments and I think this season in particular has a lot of them (even for Shiratorizawa), even though they're in the middle of an intense match. Really makes the characters feel alive.

Ange your cover was amazing! Hilarious is my favorite song of the series and one of my favorite openings of all anime 😁 I love your reaction to finding out this is a 5 set match😂
