They animated the 120% panel perfectly, I love how they even drew a speech bubble for Todo. 1 to 1 recreation of the manga, absolutely perfect. “Now all the MAPPA animators have brought out 120% of their potential‼️‼️”

Cactuar Nick

Perfect thing to have with my breakfast! Fuck we needed this, I think Todo is my favorite character.

Cactuar Nick

ALSO, Mahito's voice actor does one of my favorite characters in Blue Lock, no spoilers no hints, I just hope you guys can keep that fact in mind when you eventually start it and I want you to try and figure out who Mahito is in the bunch, lol.

Night Sterling

The the black flash at the end of the episode was from Todo that's why Mahito said it didn't matter and why the narrator said all 3 of them were bringing out 120% of their potential, the reason Yuji threw it with cursed energy was so Todo could switch with it cause he can only switch with things that have cursed energy. Also Mahito's VA really making it harder to hate him 😂 the man sounded like he was having the time of his life in the recording booth.

ThaDoubleB

Todo’s theme is amazing.

Uchiha With Some Gas

at this point just leave your reactions without an anime episode, because it doesn’t make any difference if u put these “episodes” or not

ONEEIGHTEEN

i live for carlie's excitement when she heard the clap.

Martina

the beginning of the episode with Yuuji's suffering made me physically ill in way nothing has since AoT and Levi's squad slaughter by Female Titan. the voice actor killed it but he also killed me lol. but Todo hypeee 🔥BROTHA

noya22

Remember that boogie woogie has the properties of both boogie and woogie

Mango

Todo's speech for Itadori reminded me of Erwin from Aot lol. Ngl it was funny at the beginning flashback you were laughing and smiling then they slap Nobaras exploded face on the screen and your mood does a 360 XD

Chocolatedude100

Absolutely fire episode, todo is one of the goats of jjk, carlie should definitely start investing in yuta stocks😂

aubrey !!

todo's black flash had no affect since it doesn't hit mahito's soul. the reason yuji was the one who "imbued" his energy into the object was only so that todo could switch with it. (remembering that todo can only switch with things that have curse energy). for mahito to take damage ; he needs to be hit by yuji specifically. meaning, yuji is gonna have to deal all of the damage in this fight with the help of todo's boogie woogie.

aubrey !!

yes, yuji needs to directly damage him, since that's the reason he damages mahito in the first place. (his double impact from his divergent fist.) but yes i'd say ange is right, todo's gonna have to be the brains and help yuji successfully land hits!

Aizensalami

BESUTO FURENDO! Can't get enough of this man and his technique. Loved the "Tan Taka Tan" voice with his Black Flash 😂😂

Phil

I saw a pic of Todo last week so I scrolled away asap but I felt him coming this episode and then clapped the exact moment that Todo did when he saved Yuji. :D

Edward Chireno

I will just add that last black flash was 100% todo, he was talking about being left behind cause mahito and yuji both did a black flash so he did it to not let his BROTHEEEEER left him behind, the curse energy yuji put into the pebble was for todo to use boogie woogie, remember it can just switch places with anything that has curse energy in it. Love the reactions!!

beannie

the fact that he was hallucinating with a constellation of yuji giving him a thumbs up, takada chan with a gun, and some ass cheeks😭😭😭 before hitting the black flash😭😭😭 oh my god, I love the jjk’s team direction for this so much I had some of the highest expectations for todos entrance to the arc, since he’s my second favorite entrance in shibuya, and man, they went beyond good, really props to them. Voice actors are just insane too, I’m so grateful that this story has a team that cares for it so much, I cried throughout the whole episode, the way they portrayed todo as light to yuji and yuji not looking properly at him because he felt like he was done after all the pain he’s gone through, their dynamic is one of my favorites, I feel like todo is to itadori what armin was to eren, idk how to explain it, it may be a weird take but what armin represents to eren is a little similar to me in this dynamic as well, he brings hope and a way out to everything, and shows you that there’s so much more to life that we have yet to experience

For a quick conversion of Japanese yen, you can take away the last 2 0's to get a very rough estimate of the amount in USD.

WuXian Suibian

Nobunaga Shimazaki, aka Mahito's VA has an extensive list of work in over 10 plus years. He has also quite the range of characters he voices from "crazy" like Mahito to very "soft & quiet" characters in anime like "FREE!," Diamond NO Ace" and "Fruits Basket." He also voices a character you have yet to meet in Haikyuu!! season 4.

Uzair Islam

HYPE EPISODE AND HYPEST REACTION I swear I was jumping off my seat when I heard the clap! A spark of hope after so much depression! And agreed! The VAs POPPPEEEDDDD OFFFFFF

beannie

good timing to talk about todos voice actor since he voices tendou from haikyuu too! his range is insaaane

No, it is necessary. Because I like to watch it with them together at the same time on two monitors. And I wanna know where they at right now.

Maxine

Todo's black flash attack was solely his own cursed energy; i think you're thinking of the rock yuji threw at mahito that was imbued with his power! Remember todo can only swap with things with cursed energy, so yuji just imbued the rock with some so that todo could swap places/momentum with it mahito is a FANTASTIC antagonist, whew it's been a while since I've been praying on a character's downfall this hard 😂 also, petition to change megumi's ultimate shikigami's name to margarita

ChrisBrah-4

250,000 yen is like 1800 aud 😂

Noctis

removing nobara from her mvp spot is EXTREAMLY disrespectful lmao damn man

>>124100615

Man, we’ve pissed off so many people with that episodes MVP. We might need to give it to both just to keep everyone happy 🤣

noya22
>>124048935

i don't think that's gonna happen. not everyone will be able to sync the videos properly even though the timer is there. the timer for me is just a guide and ultimately, the frame of the episode is what'll make sure that I'm properly synced up with them lol

Noctis
>>124100615

ill have to take that at least better than getting fully removed lol

CornCobBob

I'm gonna be honest I skipped last week's reaction because I watched it before hand and knew it was gonna hit you guys hard especially after what happened to Nanami. I really didn't want to watch you anymore distressed over Nobara. This show has some really well written female characters in Mei Mei, Maki, Nobara, Riko, and Miwa, and in a world of really badly written female characters in both western media and anime these girls have to be in a series like JJK where no one is safe from the wrath of GeGe. It's really good to see you in better spirits this week with the arrival of the best Top Knot Gorrila, Todou.

beannie

yeaaah😭 he’s crazy lmao, him, mahitos va and a few more are on my list of insane seiyuus lol

Khalayx

I like Carlie's prediction.

So Gojo's plain white button down is roughly $2500 USD which is roughly $3700 AUD. There is actually several memes out about how baller Gojo really is. FYI how I convert Japanese Yen to US Dollar is just divide it by 100 and that would give you a good ballpark which helps me (in my head) during my travels to Japan.
