Omg I cried so hard on tsuki’s moment when i saw it first time 🥹

Nic Q

Loved your reactions! Tsuki's arc is one of the best slow burns I've ever seen. Just perfectly laid out and paced, especially for the kind of character that he is. He's not someone who's just going to change at the drop of a hat or without some reluctance that he has to fight through. It's going to be step by step, as methodical and considered as he is. Tsuki's block and leading his team on defense was fantastic. So rewarding after 2 and a half seasons of him being good but never giving his all and being reluctant to lay himself out there for his team. Every time he coordinated the defense I felt so proud lol. But that yell what something else. It gives me chills every time I do a rewatch and get to that part, even now years later since I first saw it. The way his team and his brother reacted to that was absolute the same way I reacted when I first saw it. The VA was phenomenal. I've never read this part in the manga (this season was what made me pick it up so I jumped in after this match) but I heard that Tsuki doesn't yell in the manga. What a great addition by the director/writer (whoever decided to add it) for this episode. I can't imagine that moment not existing now.

I remembered I cried over tsuki moment as well!

No because this moment with tsuki makes me yell every time i see it. it gives me goosebumps

googlek1 .

How many times have I watched this reaction.... the world may never know!

I accidently joined the Haikyuu challenge (but I'm happy to join in!), because I started two new healthy habits this week: I've started regularly working out every second day and go outside everyday (I work from home, and it's winter here, so some days I really have to force myself to get some fresh air)

Well since my girlfriend is the worst accountability partner for task early in the morning I’ll tell you guys lol so for the Haikyuu challenge I decided to take the time to stretch and work on my mobility in the morning

Tsukki's moment is the reason I got Patreon. The pay off after 2 seasons of him just "being on the team" to actively changing the flow of the game because he can was massive. I was shocked how Ange predicted it to be such a big moment as being the FIRST person to block Ushiwaka's powerful spike. That was Tsukki's first time really yelling passionately and you can see its effect on his teammates. (I teared up too, Carlie). This season put Tsukki in my top 3 favorite characters and I watch this episode regularly. Probably my most watched episode of the whole show. Now let's see where the next set takes us <3

Ange is such a nerd now listening to haikyuu osts at the gym 😂 couldn't be me. So.. Anyway, in addition to "direct confrontation", "above" is another great recommendation

I did the same thing years back when I watched it lmfao gets me pumped

Clownsie

the temptation to print a wall poster of ushiwaka in that moment out of pure admiration for the level of "ha in your face" tsukki served :'D i have a heart of stone but was almost sobbing at that moment the first time. too well written 😭

Bahaha an awesome accident by the sounds of things. Those both sound so great! Especially getting outside in winter, very impressive ❄️

I’m so glad they made him yell in the anime. I’m not sure it would have hit as hard if he didn’t. The VA was SO good 🔥

Santos Luna Ramirez

Best reaction I’ve seen to this ep and I’ve seen manyyyyy 👏🏼

The director specifically told Tsuki's VA to hold out "yelling" even during team huddle for the past seasons!! But when this episode came out he was instructed to let it all out~!

Rae

It makes me so happy when Tanaka's sister cheers for his great plays!

Sammyboi

This is what I was waiting for. Love it

Doing that Haikyuu Challenge is actually genius. I wasn't aware I was doing that challenge since years ago 🤣 I've been listening to Haikyuu OPs every time I write a hype scene. Still doing until now 🧡

Apache Arun

we all know when the music starts for tsukki, it hits right in the feels. no matter how many times we hear it

reverse_aquamath

I consider Tsuki, in TTRPG terms, a crit fisher. The hits aren't strong but persistent biding time for the high roll. All the damage/effects trigger on criticals which results in sporadic yet devastating outcomes.

Tsukki moment! the flash back and the shout!!! very rewarding
