Content

Hey guys, another quick question for you, what would you prefer:

Short wait (around 1 week), with less new content (until I can work full-time on the game).

Wait a little longer (around 2 weeks), and get much more content per update.

Just to clarify: eventually I'm aiming for a lot of content, every week, but for now it might be more difficult combining that with work.

Or even more content once a month.

Really? You wouldn't mind waiting for a whole month every time, before you can play something new?

JFR

Just throwing it out as an option. Some of the best games/creators I support don't release anything for months at a time. Some are just building complete games and only releasing them when they are done. Another releases chapters at a time but they are months apart. Admittedly, those games are far more complex than Man of the House (not a complaint) but still, the wait is usually worth it. In those cases, each release gives us days or weeks of game play, finding all the optional pathways. That doesn't make them better than your game, just different. My point is that a little longer wait is fine if the pay-off is good enough. JMHO.

That's good to know! Right now 100% vote for 2 weeks and in all honesty, that would take the pressure off a bit on my side, allowing me to add more substantial content in a new release. I just thought (hence the poll) that you guys might not think that's often enough ;) Thanks for sharing your thoughts JFR!

Yeah one update every month is more than enough really, as long as you keep people updated with whats going and content is there :). Feel updates with only a week or two are a tease and often to little :P Rather wait for bigger updates.

Maybe make a new poll where you have third option ? With big update once a month instead :)

faerin

Yeah I tried adding an option to this one, but that didn't work. For now, I think I'll aim for 2 weeks and ask again (with 1 month as option) after the next update.

PingPanda

Less is more, Id prefer weekly releases, or, if not weekly releases, then just weekly updates, just letting us know what's been worked on in the week, maybe daily or every 2 day previews with a screen shot, summat like that :P

Mr Wayne

2 weeks works for me, thank you for asking.

2026-10-02 05:00 Dear Faerin I have voted for updates once a week. I simply pledge this game because I finally found a game that has regular often updates. If you switch to 1 monthly update – I am out. In that case you will just be one out of many other good games. For every 2 week updates -I know that you can save time in compiling and testing and in the end will give us more in total. On the other hand you will realize that new Patreons mainly participate around new updates – so the often you release new update – the more Patreons – the more money – and finally - hopefully a better game. If there is too long time between updates – players will lose their interest and Patreons will simply cancel their subscription. Just my words 😊

Damn, now you make me doubt my decision again :P On one hand I figured the same, that's why I started out with once a week, but on the other of the 40 responses, 37 have voted for 2 weeks now (so that's a lot). Once a week would be no problem if I could work full-time on the game, but right now combining it with work is pretty hard. To illustrate: the last 3 weeks I worked 40-50 hours per week on the game, because I had some time off from work, but it will be really difficult to keep that up. If this thing does take off, that's going to change of course. So how about this: for now I try to keep it at once every 2 weeks, but as soon as I reach my milestones, I'll increase the amount of updates and content? (Once a month is a bit too long for myself as well.)

faerin

Depends on how much I can get done, but I expect it will probably be at the end of next week (thursday/friday).

Number two ( no pun intended) LOL

I would like to ask if you could incorporate plus-sized women in the game, so as to showcase a completely different set-up for even wilder "interludes". For example, what about a "plus-sized" girlfriend of the mother? I, myself, work in CG and I specialize in precisely that sort of thing. Hey Alphaholic! Thanks for you suggestion! After the first 3 storylines are completed I will start having polls for new fetishes/content, so the Patrons can vote for their preference. I will definitely include your idea!
