Hey guys, the new hint system shows you the same information as the walkthrough, on the contact list of your phone.

For those of you that have tried it:Do you still feel you need a walkthrough, or are the hints enough to help you, when you get stuck?

I will describe this in my feedback, I am currently at 80% for is not needed and 20% could still help. I'm trying to do that today🤔

Only if stuff won't get missed. Was there only one new path on this latest release? If that is the case, then it worked fine.

Yeah, there was. Basically you can always tell by looking at the achievements, if you missed something it will show.

I used the hint system on the new Amy story, so I haven't seen the other ones. In that story line I managed to complete all, without needing a walkthrough... However, there where two small things I found odd...1. after having used the dildo the first time, I needed to go get a second one, to do the same with her again (so she kept it and threw it away, I'm insulted, if it was a gift, she might have been more appreciative)...I can't remember the hint system working in that occasion. and the 2nd part is the massage oil...in my case, i already ran that story, but now the option appears again with Amy at the front desk of the sport studio, so either i can repeat the Claire story from that point again (where i previously did not need to get a new bottle to do the massage repeatedly), or it is already a set for a new action, yet to be developed (which explains the absence in the hint system)...not gameplay killers, I admit, but a bit odd to come accross

Hi Tom, thanks for the feedback. These are actually both bugs and are fixed for the next update. These are not related to the hint system, but are mistakes on my end ;)

Ah. Ok. Then yes. I think it's actually better. With the walkthrough, I would just rush to get to the next step. Hints like now are nice because one has to watch the game and figure things out more.

They worked great, before this I would have to wait on the walkthrough and go back and find what I had missed. This time I got everything the first time.

Hints are great but the walkthrough still helps when you are missing photos and trying to get 100%.

Are you referring to the current walkthroughs? Because they don't tell you that, only how to complete the events?

The hint system is vastly superior to a written walkthrough. 100% completion in one run through. A quick glance at the phone (in game) is faster, easier and more immersion friendly than trying to coordinate the timelines for 5 girls on a static written document.

Thanks a lot Engrpunk, that's what I thought! To be honest I wonder how many people that vote for still needing a walkthrough, have actually tried the hint the system, because they don't offer any reason in the comments.

I agree with Eagerpunk that the new hint system works great now, as we've been playing with you for so long its like basic instinct now, maybe a walkthrough could be optional for new Patreons that might need a hand but theres enough eager people out there to lend their help too.

Hints work fine. The only thing that the walk-through gives that is not on the phone is the NPCs schedules, but that doesn't take long to work out.

I'm not going to vote, since I don't know the relative number of newer players to those who have been around for a while. At the beginning, I could not get anywhere without the walkthrough, and was frustrated that I had to wait a week for it. The last few updates, I've reached 100% without it, and to be honest, I didn't see the hint system, either. Maybe you're making it too easy :-)

One thing comes to mind. There are several smaller things that require you to be in a specific place at a specific time of day. Does the hint system cover those? If not, maybe you (or one of us) could put together a 'daily calendar', that covers things not mentioned in the hints. It should be much smaller than the walkthrough. Judging from the fact that the "help" channel on discord always has more new posts than the others, the new system isn't enough. for newer players.

Hey Mars, actually the hint system does cover these. It covers the same as the walkthrough (and a bit more actually). However, the extra images/scenes are not covered, so for those, your idea would work great! I do have to say that I have seen quite a lot of players asking for the walkthrough, but when I ask them about the hint system, they haven't even tried it (or know if it's existence, I guess).

I kinda understand that, though they should at least try for themselves. On discord, a lot of the questions are about stuff they can figure out with just a small amount of effort. A lot, if not most, game players have at least two monitors these days. Keeping a walkthrough open on a second screen would seem more convenient for them than having to click to open the phone, then click to open 'contacts', read a hint, close contacts, close phone.

Didn't even know about the hint system, have to have another look, if you are going to go with the walk through, the chronology of it needs to be improved. Happy to help with that, have a little bit of spare time at the moment.

I was able to play this update with no issues. The whole time I knew what I needed to do to proceed, so it seems a walkthrough would be unnecessary if it works this well for all the previous content not in this update. I think the new hint system is a nice step forward in making the game even better than it already was, so well done.

Well as a player I like the "hint" system a lot more than the walk thru. it seems to me easier to use. but then I have been playing for a long time. Keep up your good work.

I voted "no" but only if the new hint system goes all the way back to the beginning of the game. If that's the case then 100% its not needed and a welcome relief to have the new version included in that portion in game so no second screen is needed.

For example, now I stuck at Moms where I cant get in the Bedroom at 22 o´´ clock and I dont know why or what I forgot.

I'm kind of amazed at how well the hint system gives enough of a clue, but not too much... I see less need for a walk-through, unless I get desperate, or I want to see if I missed anything.

I thought the hint system worked very well. It was enough to point me in the right direction and I could easily figure out the rest from there. So no I don’t think there’s a need for the walkthrough
