Hey guys,I know I haven't posted anything last week, so I just wanted to post a quick update to let you know what I am up to.

I have been working hard on Mystwood Manor v0.0.4 and I'm very pleased with the progress I'm making and think it's really starting to come together nicely. Here are some of the things you can expect in the next release:

Introduction to the actual hotel management .

Exploration mechanics.

Skipping unseen text only and showing which dialogs you have seen before.

Auto-text mode with configurable speed.

Translations (French, German, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese).

Mod support.

Saving/loading.

And a lot more "QOL" improvements.

The first design for the UI is almost ready so hopefully I will be able to add that as well. The update will be released at the end of this month.I expect that the core mechanics will be finished in 1 more update, allowing me to focus fully on the story and adding a lot of content (really looking forward to that)!I'm very excited about this game and am having a lot of fun developing it.Thanks to all of you for making this possible!I'll keep you guys posted!

Thanks Jim! I reduced the amount of languages based on the recent poll and MotH statistics, so it's a bit easier to manage now.

Mod support means that fans can make some modifications to game?

faerin

Yes, some players like to change the names of the characters. This allows them to do that.

Interesting that you have chosen to support Portuguese in preference to Spanish: obviously that will help with Brazilian players, but i would have thought that the rest of Central and Southern America would be a big target for this sort of game.

So did I, but my numbers (and the poll) indicate otherwise. Though Spanish isn't entirely off the table. I might still add that at a later stage.
