Hey guys,_______________________________________________________________________________UPDATE: I have uploaded an updated version that fixes the following bugs in v0.1.3:

Fixed a bug making Julia's tier 2 event; "A slip of the tongue" unable to replay. 

Fixed a bug with Amber joining on the same day as Karen checking out when UI animations were off.

Fixed a bug cuasing Riley not to join when UI animations were off.

Fixed a bug causing a renovation to not trigger the corresponding dialog.

Fixed a bug causing failed interactions not to register due to the room not being renovated.

Download: Mystwood Manor v0.1.3.1If the bug you have reported is not on there, it doesn't mean it won't be fixed.I just wanted to get these fixed first and get a new version online.Sorry for the bugs guys, I'll make sure the developer doesn't get food tomorrow! ;)_______________________________________________________________________________First of all I have made several changes to the gameplay mechanics to  reduce the grind, based on your feedback on the poll at the beginning of  this month.Hopefully, the game will play a lot smoother now.With the help of several new testers I was able to fix a LOT of bugs, both old and new ones (over 50)!I have also included the first events for Kay as well as new events for Amber at tier 3.With most of the bugs smoothed out now, I can start focusing on adding content.That means that the next update(s) will be a full story/content update.Thanks for supporting me and I hope you will enjoy it!All the best,Faerin 

Story:  

Added 3 new events for Amber (including the first 2 animations!).

Added all tier 3 uniforms for Amber.

Added 3 new events for Kay.

Updated all older dialogs/scenes to reflect outfit tier changes.

Gameplay/UI:  

Added an option to skip UI animations in the settings.

During the results phase, one random image  will be shown now (instead of one for each girl/guest), in the following  order of priority:1. Guest complaints (if you get one of these, you won’t get a staff image).2. New staff images (these will be added to your gallery).3. Staff images that you have seen before.

When you complete a guest’s stay without any  complaints, they will get the VIP status for that level. VIP guest  interactions will be skipped and handled automatically (and succeed if a  staff member with enough skill is present).Note: If you prefer to play all interactions manually, this can be switched off in the settings.

Added an overview screen to the results for a quick summary (to replace the individual results that were removed).

Added the first upkeep events (for the housekeeping and maintenance stats).These can trigger when the corresponding stat is low.

Increased satisfaction bar speed (even more) and lowered the volume a bit.

Added the current and required experience for skills to their tooltip.

Bugfixes  

Fixed a bug that caused the selected guest level in the lobby to reset on loading a savegame.

Fixed a bug that caused the hotel attributes to show incorrect values on loading a savegame.

Text input now only accepts legal characters.

Julia now recieves experience when she works in the lobby for the first (during the tutorial).

Fixed a bug causing the last image of a dialog to skip back to the previous one when skipping through.

Events are no longer locked when they shouldn’t be.

The check in phase can no longer get skipped (causing a guest to be “stuck” in the lobby).

The guest level can not be set higher than the hotel level anymore.

Fixed a bug causing Amber not to join your staff.

Fixed a bug causing the menu to go behind the guest tooltip during checkout.

Getting the exact required satisfaction now shows as a success (as it should).

Fixed a bug that caused returning guests to not go to their selected activities.

Fixed a bug that caused the certain failed interactions not to register as a strike.

Added the current and required experience for a skill to its tooltip.

Fixed a bug causing the interface to lock up after doing a renovation.

Fixed the waiting area upgrades for the sauna  and the fitness as they were bugged (the upgrades will be renamed and  get different images later on).

Fixed a bug causing Amber’s “maid to measure” event to trigger before getting to skill level 2.

Fixed a bug causing the claim reward button on the tier list dropping off screen.

Updated the tier reward requirement tooltips to better explain their meaning.

Added a tooltip to the claim tier reward button.

Fixed a bug that caused scenes of the girl sleeping to be prioritized over the working scenes.

Fixed a bug causing low level special events not to trigger at higher staff levels.

Fixed a bug that caused special event dialogs not to be added to the history log (for both staff members and guests).

Fixed a bug that caused the incorrect event tiers for guests to be shown on their profile.

Fixed a bug in replaying guests events (Orville’s).

Fixed an additional 25 minor bugs.

Sry Faerin! Got to report another bug! When start to the fitness room or the sauna! The game doesn't let me out again! The game doe not freeze! I can purchase the upgrade! But i can't switch back to other maps, personel view or guest view! But i must admit, that i used cheat engine for a money cheat! Has this something to do with it?

Hi Hein, that should not matter. So it sounds like a bug, another player reported the same a few hours ago. I will look into and fix it.

I was able to reproduce the bug. It seems this only occurs when you switch off the UI animations. Should have a fix hotfix with 15-30 minutes.

Hi Faerin I've just found a bug. I you clic on the number of the lobby room and launch the day the game just freeze. Here good luck!

Hi Auxilius, thanks for the report. Can you give some more details, as I am not able to reproduce this. Do you set it to a specific number and press play?

When Julia is working there, i've try to look if I was able to change the level and I think that was the cause of the bug

Bug Report: After purchasing the level 2 Sauna the game locked up and unable to exit the screen to the main Hotel Area

Yes I was able to reproduce this bug 3 times, mayby it's when I try to click on a unable number

Another Bug Report: After downloading the updated game I purchased a level 2 room and after Micky advised of getting the Maintenance Room. I purchased the room and the game froze again after buying the Maintenance Room. Also freezing on purchasing the 2nd bedroom

Minor gameplay problem I'm noticing, Faerin, is that level 1 guests don't seem to often have any desire to use the Sauna or Gym... and rarely want a restaurant or bar visit. This seems to lead to some issues with leveling without just failing a bunch first, which doesn't feel great from a gameplay perspective.

Hi Victor. Are you sure you have installe the updated version? See my reply to your other post., this should have been fixed in 0.1.3k.

Hi Henry, thank you for the feedback. Actually I did this intentional so you can strategically choose who to accept as guest early on, and it should be the opposite (from a gameplay perspective). The sauna and gym are level 2 buildings, so no level 1 guest will ever ask for it. The restaurant and bar are only available after you have made more money at level 1, so not all guests at level 1 require those. At higher levels, the demands go up, but you can always control which level guests you want to receive. But perhaps I am misunderstanding your comment, so please let me know if that's the case.

I'm using the 0.1.3k version. For me, same issue exists as non k version - playing on Auto after the guest rating, the dialog freezes, Music still playing, i can click on buttons/settings etc. but the dialog box remains frozen on the screen and cannot progress. I did copy my profile from previous version - maybe/not related?

When you say "playing on auto" you holding down ctrl? Which guest/girl/room froze for you? Or does it always happen?

Hi Faerin - no worries - all of us are here to help make the game great! FYI - i created a new profile - same experience in Auto mode. Sometimes rating works fine, but just froze again for me after Julia/Kitchen rating - dialog box Julia "Happy to help!" stuck.

Sorry, and by Auto I mean when i click the AUTO button. Has frozen after Kitchen, Gym ratings (so far). And like I said, it doesn't always happen.

Ah, that's good to know! What speed setting do you have in the settings? Perhaps 0 seconds is a bit too "fast" causing it to lock up.

0 and 1. For fun I'm trying version 2 again (on 0 setting) and I cannot replicate the issue yet in that version.

I think you might be, but only by a little bit, so no worries. :D Basically, 2 of Riley's 3 skills are "level 2" only, but those skills don't start at level 2, so leveling Riley up to be rank 2 of everything relies upon failing a bunch of level 2 checks over and over until she is level 2 on those. THAT specifically kind of feels like a pain point, because you're basically taking on guests who will NOT end up paying you just to get skill upgrades done, 3 attempts at a time, until they're high enough to get over that hump. It's especially painful when, if you cannot yet afford the Maintenance Room but the Maintenance mechanic is suddenly going because you purchased one of those two rooms for her to work in.

I mean, unless her storyline is going to incorporate elements of "I know I've probably caused more headaches for you than you had before"... in which case then it's downright hilarious. :D

Yeah I had... But got around it by saving the game to a different slot and waiting for the next time period before upgrading. I able to replicate the freeze everytime after purchasing the room and then either immediately upgrading it to lvl 2 or then straight away purchasing the extra bedroom. But this became a non-issue with using a new save slot

I had the same bug as well but I had just saved and restarted the game and it didn't happen again.

Ah, I see what you mean now (and we talked a bit on Discord as well). That's a good point. The study will be added soon, which will allow you to train girls up to the current hotel/guest level. But for now it's indeed a bit of an annoyance. I will add it to my list and think of a nice solution, thanks a lot for your feedback!

hallo mein lieber faerin wollte mich noch mal zurück melden , ich hoffe das ich das problem mit schlüssel lösen konnte ... habe ihn einfach wie mir gesagt wurde in das entpackte game gepackt ...zum Spiel selber bin ich angenehm überrascht das du ein paar vereinfachungen vorgenommen hast wie der vip service super idee .... leider sind noch nicht alle texte auf deutsch vorhanden ...so hat es etwas gedauert bis ich die sauna auf level 3 ( Spieler )... immer vertippt oha ... naja wie auch immer es geht vorran .... nun warte ich auf das nächste update von dir ... wird langsam mal zeit etwas schwung in die bude zu bekommen ... damit meine augen mal was zum schauen haben ...du weist was ich meine ...hotel hin oder her ....die meisten wollen aktion sehen ... na dann viel spass beim erstellen freue mich schon ....

I know I am late giving feedback but I am all the way to day 28 and I have only had 4 opportunities to put Amber into the restaurant. On the rare occasion that I get a guest who wants sit down service it is always breakfast, so 1 opportunity for her to get experience per guest. could you perhaps change one or two of the room service guests to restaurant?
