Chapter 17: Loyalties
New Guard Base - Uzumaki Island
The world was changing, though not everyone was ready to admit it. In the aftermath of the Star City docks, the media was a battlefield. While the Justice League issued stern warnings about the dangers of "extrajudicial execution," the public's reaction was a visceral, thunderous roar of approval. For decades, the citizens of earth had watched the same monsters crawl back out of the shadows. Now, for the first time, a beast had been snuffed out permanently.
But for Naruto Uzumaki, the "Warden" of the New Guard, the victory was seasoned with a cold realization: no barrier is truly absolute.
On his uninhabited island, protected by a labyrinth of fuinjutsu that should have rendered it invisible to every sensor on Earth, Naruto stood on the balcony of the central residence. The air was still, save for the rhythmic crashing of waves against the obsidian cliffs.
"You're thinking about the gap," a voice said.
Naruto didn't turn. He knew the psychic signature. Ace walked up beside him, her small hand reaching out to grip his sleeve. She looked up at him with those haunting, pale eyes, not with the hunger of the women in his harem, but with the quiet, desperate devotion of a daughter who had finally found a father.
"The bald man," Ace whispered. "He didn't find the island with his eyes. He found the 'nothing' we leave behind."
Naruto sighed, resting a hand on her head, his fingers tangling in her dark hair. "I underestimated them, Ace. Not their power, but their perspective. I built a wall that hides the light, but in a world made of data, a shadow is just as visible as a flare."
His sensory seals had alerted him moments ago. A LexCorp transport was approaching. It hadn't "found" the island by sight; it had tracked the "Dead Zone" the specific coordinate where ARGUS satellite pings simply ceased to exist. To a man like Lex Luthor, a hole in the world was a map.
Naruto understood that by letting a variety of people onto his base, it would eventually be uncovered, but he didn't expect it to happen this quickly.
Fast Forward
The silver VTOL craft descended with a hum of proprietary anti-gravity tech, its sleek hull reflecting the tropical sun. As the ramp hissed open, Lex Luthor stepped out, looking every bit the billionaire statesman. He was flanked by Mercy Graves, whose eyes immediately locked onto the two Kryptonian clones standing guard at the perimeter.
Naruto met them on the sand. Behind him stood Galatea and Claire, their arms crossed, their capes snapping in the wind. The sheer physical presence of the two clones, the pinnacle of Cadmus engineering, was enough to make Mercy’s hand twitch toward her holster.
"Mr. Uzumaki," Luthor said, his smile as sharp as a scalpel. "I must apologize for the intrusion. Your 'privacy' is quite impressive. It took my engineers six months of cross-referencing global telemetry to find the specific 'void' where you've tucked yourself away. You don't hide like a hero; you hide like the ninja you claim to be."
"And you're trespassing on my territory, Lex," Naruto replied, his blue eyes cold ignore the jab completely. "Waller didn't give you these coordinates."
"Waller is a civil servant, Naruto. She thinks in budgets and red tape. I think in legacies," Luthor said, stepping closer, seemingly unbothered by the fact that he was within arm's reach of two women who could turn him into a red mist. "You've done what the League never could. You’ve created a permanent deterrent. But you’re operating on a shoestring. You have the muscle, yes, Tamaraneans, Kryptonians, even a Lantern, but you lack the infrastructure to maintain a global monopoly on justice."
"I have the Vault," Naruto said.
"And I have the eyes," Luthor countered. "The League is currently building a case against you. They are cataloging your 'lethal' failures. They will come for you with the full weight of the UN behind them. Unless... you have a partner who can manipulate the narrative as easily as you manipulate chakra."
Naruto tilted his head. He could sense Luthor’s ambition, it was a cold, oily thing, but he also sensed the logic. "What’s your price, Lex?"
"A seat at the table. Access to the dimensional data of the Vault. I want to understand how you’ve anchored a pocket dimension using biological energy. In exchange, I provide you with LexCorp stealth-satellites, lead-lined manufacturing for your 'Wardens,' and a media machine that will make the Justice League look like an outdated relic of the 20th century."
Naruto looked at Claire and Galatea. He saw the flicker of curiosity in Claire’s eyes, the strategic Zod intellect analyzing the offer.
"I'll take the tech," Naruto said. "But the moment I find a 'backdoor' in your satellites, I’m sending a Shadow Clone to Metropolis to personally dismantle your tower. Do we have an agreement?"
Luthor bowed slightly. "A partnership of necessity is the strongest kind. Oh, and a word of warning... the Batman doesn't like losing his 'birds.' Nightwing is already en route. He’s not using tech. He’s using old-fashioned grit."
As Luthor’s craft lifted, Naruto looked at Ace. "He's right. The blue bird is coming."
Fast Forward
Midnight fell over the Uzumaki base like a heavy shroud. The island was quiet, but beneath the surface, the "family" was on high alert.
Nightwing, Aqualad (Kaldur'ahm), and Tigress (Artemis) drifted toward the northern reef in a silent, black submersible. They moved with the grace of ghosts, bypassing the outer sensory seals using a specialized scrambler Batman had built. It didn't "block" the seals; it fed them a loop of "normalcy."
"Stay quiet," Dick Grayson whispered into his comms. "We’re here for an extraction and intel. If we find Babs, we don't argue. We pull her out. If we encounter Kage... we run. We aren't equipped for a direct hit."
"Something doesn't feel... Right," Artemis whispered, her bow at the ready. "It feels like we are being watch."
She wasn't wrong. High above, on a cliffside perch, Terra sat with her eyes closed, her palms pressed against the rock. Through the Earth, she could feel the rhythmic thump-thump of hearts that didn't belong. She didn't alert the base yet; she waited, as Naruto had instructed.
The infiltrators reached the main balcony of the residence. Nightwing slipped through the glass doors, his heart hammering in his chest. He saw a figure sitting in the dark, looking out at the ocean.
"Babs?" he whispered, his voice cracking with a mixture of hope and fear.
"She isn't here, Dick," a male voice rumbled.
Naruto stepped out of the shadows, he was not try to be intimidating, but his presence still overwhelming. Beside him, Barbara Gordon stepped forward. She wasn't wearing her Batgirl suit. She wore a dark, form-fitting tactical outfit with the Uzumaki swirl stitched in red on her shoulder.
"Babs... thank God," Dick said, reaching out. "We’re here to take you home. Bruce is worried. We can get you past the government, we can..."
"I am home, Dick," Barbara said, her voice steady and devoid of the warmth he remembered.
"What?"
"You think I’m being held here?" Barbara stepped into the moonlight, her green eyes sharp. "I’m the lead tactician for the New Guard. I’m doing more for this world in a week than I did in ten years of jumping over Gotham rooftops. Naruto isn't my captor. He’s my partner."
"He's a murderer, Barbara!" Dick shouted, his batons snapping into his hands. "He executed Crane in cold blood! He’s building a black-site prison that answers to no one!"
"He's building a world where children don't wake up screaming because of a gas-mask-wearing freak," Barbara countered. "You call it murder. I call it an overdue pruning. Now, go. Before the others find you. Galatea isn't as sentimental as I am."
"I'm not leaving without you," Dick growled, lunging forward.
Naruto didn't even move. A surge of blue chakra erupted from the floor, a Lightning Release trap he’d set hours ago. Dick was slammed back against the railing, his body spasming as the current locked his muscles.
Aqualad and Tigress burst onto the balcony, but they were met with a wall of yellow energy. Soranik Natu floated above them, her Power Ring glowing with a menacing intensity.
"Intruders," Soranik said, her voice a cold, clinical rasp. "Warden, shall I process them for the Vault?"
"No," Naruto said, walking to the edge of the balcony. He looked down at Dick, who was gasping for air. "Take them back to their boat. But tell Batman... the next time he sends his 'family' to my house, they don't get a ride home. They get a permanent cell."
With a flick of his wrist, Naruto used a Wind Release: Gale Palm to blow the three heroes off the balcony and into the sea, where Shadow Clones waited to escort them out of the perimeter.
Barbara stood next to Naruto, watching the submersible retreat into the dark. "You know he won't stop."
Barbara was not only talking about Dick; Bruce would also stop at nothing to take them down.
"I know," Naruto said, wrapping an arm around her waist. "But he’s a relic, Babs. He's a man trying to stop a storm with an umbrella."
Fast Forward
The failed infiltration had an unintended effect: it solidified the resolve of the new recruits. Seeing the "heroes" try to "rescue" them from a life they had chosen only served to prove Naruto’s point. They weren't heroes or villains; they were the New Guard.
As the moon reached its zenith, Naruto found himself in the central training hall. Terra and Soranik Natu were there, both looking unsettled by the night's events. Soranik, the doctor and the Lantern, was analyzing the data on her ring, while Terra was idly causing small pebbles to dance in the air.
"You handled the 'blue bird' with mercy," Soranik observed, looking at Naruto. "In the Sinestro Corps, that would be seen as a weakness. Fear must be absolute to maintain order."
"Mercy isn't a weakness if it's a choice," Naruto replied. "If I kill them, I make them martyrs. If I let them live, I make them failures. Failure breeds doubt. Doubt destroys the League faster than any attack ever could."
Terra glanced upward, her tousled blonde hair framing her face. "I've had experiences with heroes before. They viewed me as either a victim or a potential threat, never simply as a person. They didn't even try to understand me... they never offered me an option that didn't include confinement."
"You have a choice here, Tara," Naruto said, walking over to her. He knelt, looking her in the eye. "And you, Soranik. You both brought order to this island tonight. Now, I think it’s time we finalized your place in this family."
Soranik’s eyes, a deep, exotic shade, narrowed with intrigue. "The 'biological connection' the redhead mentioned. You use the pleasure of the flesh to anchor the soul to your cause. A primitive, yet remarkably effective method of ensuring loyalty."
"It's more than that," Naruto said, his voice dropping to a low rumble. "It’s a transfer of energy. Ninshu, the way I see it. A shared understanding."
Naruto frequently contemplated what the Sage of Six Paths would think about his technique being utilized in a manner that exposes a person's true intentions and innermost feelings during sex.
Naruto mused, a bead of sweat forming on his brow, that the sage would likely use some intricate vocabulary, but deep down, he would be chuckling like a mischievous lecher. Most of the strong men he was familiar with had a similar tendency, and he doubted the powerful sage would be an exception.
Master Bedroom
Naruto led Terra and Soranik to the master chambers, a massive, circular room with floor-to-ceiling glass that overlooked the crashing surf. The air was warm, smelling of ozone and sea salt.
Lemon Scene Ahead
Terra was the first to approach him, he cloth long since stripped. Her nervousness was gone, replaced by a fierce, grounding need for connection. She reached out, her hands tracing the hard lines of Naruto’s abdominal muscles.
"I want to feel like any other woman, Naruto," she whispered. "I've spent my whole life moving, shifting like the earth. Make me feel like I belong somewhere."
Naruto didn't answer with words. He pulled her into a deep, possessive kiss. Terra moaned, her small body pressing into his. She was lithe and strong, her skin sun-kissed and dusted with the grit of her training. Naruto’s hands slid down to her firm, rounded ass, lifting her up so her legs wrapped around his waist.
He carried her to the massive bed, laying her back against the silk sheets. As he stripped, Terra’s eyes widened, her breath catching as she saw his thick, pulsing shaft, the head already weeping with pre-cum.
"Oh... it’s so much bigger than I thought," she whispered, her face flushing.
Soranik Natu stepped into the moonlight, her yellow uniform de-materializing in a shimmer of ring-energy. She stood naked, her skin a vibrant, alien pinkish-red. She was taller than Terra, with the elegant, sculpted muscles of an athlete and a surgeon. Her breasts were full and firm, topped with dark, exotic nipples.
"The biological signature of your reproductive organ is consistent with your overall power level," Soranik said, her voice trembling slightly despite her clinical tone. "It is... impressive. I wish to observe the effect of its entry into the human female."
"Don't just observe, Soranik," Naruto growled, pulling Terra’s legs apart.
He entered Terra in one smooth, powerful thrust. The young geokinetic let out a sharp, high-pitched scream, her toes curling as he bottom out against her cervix.
"AHHH! Naruto! It’s... it’s so full! I can feel you everywhere!" Terra sobbed, her hips bucking instinctively.
Terra was incredibly tight, and there was no blood when he penetrated her, indicating she wasn't a virgin. He didn't want to dwell on the unfortunate circumstances that led this young woman to lose her innocence while being homeless, desperate, and alone. Instead, he concentrated on the warmth and tightness enveloping him.
Naruto began to move, his thrusts rhythmic and heavy. Each time he slammed into her, a faint pulse of Earth Release chakra rippled through his skin, resonating with Terra’s own power. To her, it felt like the very foundation of the island was thrusting into her, a sensation so overwhelming she began to claw at his back.
Soranik didn't wait. She moved to the head of the bed, her long, slender fingers tangling in Naruto’s hair as she pulled him into a kiss. Her tongue was skillful, searching his mouth with a hunger she had suppressed for years in the sterile halls of Korugar. She then moved down, her mouth finding Terra’s breast, her tongue swirling around the nipple while Naruto pounded the girl from above.
"The endorphin rush is staggering," Soranik murmured against Terra’s skin.
Naruto pulled out of Terra, who let out a cry of loss, her pussy twitching and dripping with his juices. He flipped her onto her stomach, her ass in the air. "Soranik. Your turn."
The Lantern lay back, her legs spread wide. Naruto entered her with a grunt of effort. Soranik was surprisingly tighter than Terra, her muscles toned and responsive. She gasped, her hands gripping the headboard.
"Incredible... the friction... the heat... it’s like a stellar collapse," Soranik panted, her eyes rolling back as Naruto began a relentless, piston-like rhythm.
He was the Warden, and he was marking his territory. He pounded into the alien woman, his hands gripping her hips, leaving dark bruises on her rose-colored skin. Soranik’s composure shattered. She wasn't a doctor or a soldier anymore; she was a woman being ravaged by a powerful man. She began to scream his name, her alien voice echoing through the room.
Terra moved in, her small hands roaming over Naruto’s back and Soranik’s breasts. She leaned down to lick the sweat from Naruto’s shoulder, her tongue tracing the jagged lines of the Karma Seal.
"I want more," Terra whispered.
Naruto pulled Soranik into a seated position on his lap, her back against his chest as he continued to thrust up into her. He then grabbed Terra, pulling her over them so her mouth was over his cock as he pulled back, her warm, wet throat taking his balls while he remained buried in Soranik.
The sensory overload was absolute. The scent of female musk, the sound of their combined moans, and the sight of their bodies interlocked in the moonlight.
"I'm coming!" Naruto roared.
He pulled out of Soranik and threw her on the bed; he flipped Terra onto her back one last time. He entered her with a final, desperate surge of power. As he hit his peak, he pulled her close, his seed erupting inside her with the force of a tidal wave.
"AHHHHH! FILL ME! FILL ME UP!" Terra screamed, her body arching as she felt the hot, thick liquid surging deep into her womb.
He didn't stop there. As he continued to throb inside Terra, he reached out, grabbing Soranik by the hair and pulling her face down. He pulled out of Terra, his remaining semen spraying across the Lantern’s face and into her waiting mouth.
Soranik swallowed every drop, her eyes wide and dark with a newfound, terrifying devotion.
It wasn't merely a physical encounter; he formed a deep connection with the two women through his abilities. He opened his heart to them, and they reciprocated, allowing him to glimpse their pasts while they experienced his in return. This profound understanding brought them closer than anyone else ever had, which is why he felt complete trust in all the women in his life.
Lemon Scene End
Minutes later, the room was silent save for the sound of heavy breathing. Terra was fast asleep, her head resting on Naruto’s chest, her body finally at peace.
Soranik was awake, her head resting on Naruto’s shoulder. She watched the way the Karma Seal on his hand pulsed with a faint, dark light in the shadows.
"You are building something more than a just a team, Naruto Uzumaki," Soranik whispered. "You are building a world where the strong protect the lost by becoming the monsters the shadows fear."
"I'm just doing what needs to be done," Naruto said, his voice sleepy.
"Loyalty through pleasure. Order through fear." Soranik kissed his jaw. "The Sinestro Corps has lost a Lantern. The New Guard has gained a goddess. I am yours, Warden."
Naruto closed his eyes, drifting into a dreamless sleep. He had successfully defended his home, expanded his reach with Luthor, and bound two more powerful souls to his cause. The Justice League might be his enemies, but as he felt the warmth of the women surrounding him, he knew he was the only one truly awake.
Metropolis
Lex Luthor sat in the dark of his office, watching a live feed from one of his new "Void-Scanner" satellites. On the screen, the Justice League transport was docking at the Watchtower.
"They failed," Mercy said, her voice devoid of emotion. "Nightwing looks broken."
"Failure is a relative term, Mercy," Luthor said, his eyes glinting. "Naruto showed mercy. That means he still cares about the 'narrative.' He still wants to be seen as the better man. That makes him predictable."
Luthor turned to a secondary monitor. It showed a map of the world, with small, red dots appearing in cities where the New Guard had been active.
"He wants the Vault to be a cage," Luthor whispered. "But with my help, it will be the foundation of a new world order."
He tapped a key, sending an encrypted message to an unknown recipient.
