Sammy 123

Never thought I would be rewatching Healer after 10 years in 2025...let's see how it aged

Sanill Bernales

By the way..time to rewatch with you guys😅

Danis

It has been a minute since I watched this show lol. While Mr. Sunshine talked about Korean history around the occupation, this one will be built on a more modern Korean history, fiction added. "Min Joo" that they're looking for on the underground radio is grossly mistranslated. It's "democracy" that they're looking for. It was during the 80s when the Korean people were still fighting for democracy. Quite timely, I must say.

Pandora

Indeed! They are fighting for democracy and press freedom in the 80s during the military dictatorship. Actually Healer sprang to mind immediately with all the political turmoil currently engulfing Korea. Timely indeed! Plus the issue of press censorship and the might of the media moguls... plus ca change!

Pandora

I don't know if Viki is an option, their subtitles are really good and much more accurate.

Liv

Park Min-young is one of my queens!!! So happy that you guys are watching something with her 😁😁

Squishy Rabbit

Idk if you just missed one importance the detail or not. It showed in the very beginning scene of Ji Chang Wook's house, he also has the picture of The Fantastic 5.

Seelia

Honestly, it took me 2 episodes before I could get into the show. Probably cuz I was in a different state of mind at the time and then I had to rewatch from the beginning. Also, at this point, not much to clarify. Better to let the audience make assumptions cuz the show will explain itself eventually.

Seelia

Right. They missed it, otherwise they would've mentioned it. But no big deal considering how repetitive Kdramas are. 😂 We'll see that photo another 100+ more before the show's over.

Seelia

I love her here and loved her in What's Wrong With Secretary Kim. I think it's still the best office romance to date.

Priyanka Banerjee

Yay I am excited to rewatch Healer with you both!
