Yes, same with me. The plot drove the story, not the romance. Rachel Park is a Ginger, not a MaryAnn so she needs a Batman, not a Robin. 😂 Male lead Na Inwoo was ok. I think he's handsome but I first saw him in Mr Queen and he really creeped me out being that character. He was possessive, a bit unhinged, and obsessed with his crush. I've never really gotten over that creepy feeling even though I've seen him in other projects. 🤔😅 The two main villains. They were perfection, but I think they should've brought in Yura sooner. She was a big part of the antagonist's team and it felt rushed.

Perfect Marriage Revenge was so much better imo,....the plot is so similar to this one, but i liked PMR more. The revenge was so gratifying! Also, I really hope you guys watch Welcome To Waikiki one day to see the funniest version of Lee Yi Kyung. You ought to see him in hs element lol! It's so strange that you met him as a villain first, because he is a total goofball both in Waikiki and in real life. (Half the time i could not take him seriously as a villain) Plus, the King from Mr. Queen is main lead in Waikiki. It's such a great romcom/slice of life/comedy that will leave you in stitches from laughing so hard! the OST is chef's kiss!

I think it didn't matter who the Male lead was, this drama was made specifically for Park Min Young. Most of her dramas are just about her and her story everything else is secondary, kind of like Confidence Queen. So the male lead didn't have a chance to show anything in this.

I could really see Eunho and Huiyeon having a good relationship and chemistry, but i wish it was better developed. They just dropped them at the end and called it a day. In the webtoon their relationship was fleshed out well, and even had special chapters dedicated to them after the end, and it was beautiful, eunho actually took some time to get over jiwon and went abroad to study further or something like that, and Huiyeon waited for him, while staying in contact, and then they came back to each other and we witnessed their relationship develop. It was poorly executed in the drama so it felt forced.

I think you would enjoy Rachel in Her Private Life. The leads have good chemistry in that one. Great reactions and thank you for watching it.
